"Coming from Arizona, we were unprepared for the challenging journey to find late-night food. Nevertheless, we braved the roads and finally arrived at our destination around 1 AM.
Upon entering, we were welcomed by a friendly cashier who took our order without a second thought to our tired and disheveled appearance. As we looked around, it was clear we were out-of-towners, weary and hungry after facing a daunting parking situation.
Though we didn’t order the chicken, we soon found out it was the highlight of the menu. To our delight, the staff offered us complimentary chicken with biscuits. My partner and I dove into the warm food, and while it may not have been the best fried chicken we’d ever had, it certainly felt that way—it was moist, crunchy, and full of flavor, satisfying our hunger perfectly.
We had initially worried that New Jersey would be filled with unfriendly people, but our first experience was so pleasant that it not only filled our stomachs but also warmed our hearts. Thank you!"
