"This was just OK for me. It’s at a very convenient location, however the food is subpar. I got two slices of pepperoni pizza, a classic option any pizza place should be able to nail. I won’t pretend to be a pizza expert, but it lacked a bit of flavor and it was too crispy. I would skip this place and go to one of the other zillion pizza places in NYC. This place might be “famous” and “original” (possibly baseless claims, but I don’t want to spew conspiracy theories) but maybe an Unknown Copycat Ray’s pizza would be a better bet. Not to be too nitpicky but I ordered two slices and they were DRASTICALLY different sizes. I’m really not picky, but it was a noteworthy difference. The seating area inside was a welcome luxury and I went off-peak (11 am) and easily found a place to sit. If you’re hellbent on spending a little too much money on Famous Original pizza, go for it, but if you want something tasty, you should skip it."

Pizza was decent but prices not great! 4 slices and 2 drinks 50 bucks. Wings were purchased after the original total. Wouldn’t waste your money on the wings

The pizza is good but the place is not clean. Is much expensive. $78 for 4 slice of pizza and one salad with drink. This what nearest. Don’t search for others.

Ray's Pizza is a classic New York pizzeria located in the back street of Time Square. There are very delicious pizzas available. It definitely needs to be tried. View menu

The best place to dine in New York, meters from Times Square...with Excellent Service, abundant dishes and at a very good price. The 2 young Latinos who work at the place are the best!!

This was our first time in NYC and have heard that pizza in New York was the best you can get, Ray's did not disappoint it was the best slice that I have ever had. We had the Buffalo chicken slice, the crust had a nice crunch to it, the flavour was so good. It was a big slice with big chunks of chicken. I recommend that if you are cruising time square check out Ray's Pizza. The staff are also great, super friendly.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
