"Upon entering the restaurant, we found it nearly packed with customers on this Sunday afternoon, which is always a good sign. We placed our orders and were shown to a table. Both of us opted for the lunch special, which included a slice of pizza, a salad, and a drink for under $10 each. I loved the atmosphere as it really set a positive tone for our meal.
The salad arrived first, and I was thrilled that I chose their house Italian dressing; even though I usually prefer ranch, I couldn't resist trying it. I was delighted with the fresh ingredients and generous portion size. Speaking of portions, that pizza slice was massive! It was about the size of a small pizza! I could only finish half, but I'm not complaining at all since I now have lunch ready for Monday, thanks to the carryout container they provided.
As for the pizza, I adored the crispy crust, which had a satisfying crunch with every bite. I chose pepperoni and mushrooms as my toppings, which are included in the lunch special. My wife and I both agreed that we will definitely be returning to Julian's more often. I noticed a diverse crowd: families with young kids, older couples, younger couples out on dates, and us (including my self-employed self). It’s important to support small businesses whenever you can!"
