"This was an amazing place to eat. I was slightly intimidated but how packed it was but I soon found out that it was because of how delicious everything was! My fiance and I started off with a couple of drafts out of very large variety of beers and the waiter had no trouble recommending the perfect selections for us both. Our appetizer was the Cheese Curds with ranch and WOW absolutely amazing! They were like Mozzarella sticks that just didn't taste Italian. It went very well with the beers. Then we ordered our entrees: St. Patty's Melt with a side of Tabouli and South City Chicken with a side of Pub Fries. It's hard to go wrong with a patty melt but it was delicious none-the-less. We ordered it medium-cooked and it turned out perfectly. The Tabouli was something we have never had before - it was basically like salsa without the sauce, a very interesting side dish that wasn't quite up to our expectations. As for the South City Chicken, talk about a spicy succulence! The chicken was cooked very well and wasn't too thick or thin of a breast. It was covered in Pepper Jack cheese and salsa, giving it a very hot flavor that made my mouth water. I had them leave off the avocado since I'm not a huge fan, so that might have balanced out the zesty flavor a bit more. And of course the Pub Fries were super good - a delicious flavor, cooked just right and not too greasy. At the end, we had enough room in our stomachs for one of their decadent desserts: White Chocolate Chip Brownie served a la mode. The brownie came out very soft but not gooey and was super warm. The right amount of vanilla ice cream was placed on top, followed by a good amount of chocolate fudge dripped over the dessert with a fresh strawberry as extra. Very delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and all the food and drinks came so fast - very little wait time. It was a cozy place to eat with the lights dimmed. All in all, a most fabulous place to eat! We will definitely go back again!!"

"It was my last night in Hilton Head so I knew I wanted to have a great meal with a drink! I decided to come here with an open mind not knowing what awaited me. When I first drove up to enter the resort, I wasn't aware there was a cash entry fee just to enter the resort! Had I known this in advance, I would have made sure to have cash in my wallet. I quickly found an ATM nearby and came back to enter. As it was nighttime, it was pitch black with minimal lights so I made sure to drive slow. I didn't realize the property was this big and it was a nice adventure up to the restaurant! It was a pleasant drive and I quite enjoyed it. Upon arriving outside the restaurant, you're taken aback by the properties itself which was beautiful and statuesque. I went up the stairs and then proceeded to the restaurant and sat at the bar. The staff was super professional and they pulled out the chair and helped me get closer to the bar, which was nice! I decided to sit at the end of the bar, which was a smart choice as the night progressed. The restaurant is quite enchanting inside with tons of seating and you could tell the entire experience is all about the customer, which I can appreciate. I ordered an old fashioned to start, which was excellent! They even used fresh nutmeg, which is what really brought that whole drink together. After hearing the specials and reading through the menu, I decided on oysters, a wedge salad and the Scottish smoked salmon. The oysters were great and all 3 sauces it came with complimented them well. I found the wedge salad to be bland and felt it needed more seasoning. Although I asked for fresh cracked black pepper, that still didn't bring that dish together for me. Now, I asked for my salmon to be cooked medium rare, which was perfect! The mashed potatoes had this silky smooth texture and texture wise, were some of the best mashed potatoes I've had. However, that dish was lacking some serious salt and flavor for me! Had that seasoning been added, this would have been a magnificent dish. Aside from the lack of salt and seasoning on my dishes, the food was still very good. While at the bar, I ended up conversing with the staff, who were not only attentive, but engaging and made sure that my experience there was extraordinary. For me, they made my night and I will definitely be returning in the future. All I can say is this is a restaurant you should come visit and you will not be disappointed with the overall experience!"

"I suppose if you're willing to pay $13 for a sub-par hamburger, then this review isn't going to mean much to you. On a Sunday afternoon, I went into jams for the first time. I have heard so much hype about it that I wanted to try it for myself. I found it surprisingly dead at that time of day, which is unusual because the parking lot is always filled for this place. I sat at the bar and ordered a soda. what kind of restaurant doesn't have soda on phone? So you get a can of Diet Coke. Later, when I got the bill, I about fell out of my chair when I was charged $2.95 for a can of Diet Coke. Then, I ordered the Jams hamburger with balsamic onions and bacon. It was a good size hamburger, and the bun was good. I asked for pickles and lettuce and tomato on my hamburger. Again, what kind of please that tell it's their hamburgers doesn't have sliced hamburger pickles? As a matter of fact, for $13, they should hand make their own pickles. But I got some sort of food service deli spears. I have to say that the veggie slaw was very good. The hamburger, on the other hand, was very bland. Expected a good amount of the balsamic onions, and I got what probably equated to a tablespoon. The bacon also was subpar. Then, just to top it off, the bartender who was serving me was completely distracted by her friends at the end of the bar and never once returned to see what I needed. There were three managers at the other end of the bar complaining about this and that, which just kind of brought everything into focus for me. This is a trendy restaurant, with exhorbitant prices, for people who have nothing better to do than to spend too much money for mediocre food and drinks."
