"We live nearby so usually takeout. Rabo oxtails, chivo goat, mondongo tripe soup, roasted chicken, baked grouper, shrimps these all work well for takeout, but some are only available certain days. The restaurant gets crowded, especially in the evening, so we don't eat in the restaurant that often unless we can go for late lunch before the crowds but some dishes, like grilled fish, are best to eat there while they're hot so better to eat there in the restaurant for those dishes. Malecon gets some really nice desserts tres leches and flan are very good"

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

"My stomach is hurting! We walked in and sat in the back. The lady told us she'll be right back to take our order. Well 10 minutes later a new whole group of 4 sat down next to us and somehow got their drinks before us. We felt invisible and I think the easier heard me because he came to us right after serving them their drinks. Anyway we went ahead and ordered a bunch of food. The crab cakes and chicken croquettes were really good but that's where it ended food wise. My mojito was really good and I would have asked for a 2nd but nobody came to check on us. We waited and got tired of waiting so I got up asked for the check then had to get up and give her the check. It wasn't that busy so I don't understand the wait but I wont be going back. I'm feeling like I have to puke right now as I write this. So disappointed!"

"The cocktails at this restaurant are excellent, and the table side guacamole preparation is wonderful. The menu is tasty as well. The servers may appear a bit overwhelmed, but if you're not in a rush, it's not a problem. The restaurant is clean and attractive, but it can get quite noisy, which may not be the most intimate setting for a date. They have nice outdoor seating as well. The pricing is in line with what you would expect in the suburbs, a bit higher than what you might be used to in a smaller town, but not overly expensive."

"My husband and I made reservations to go for the Canelo fight night which was promoted on social media. When we arrived we were taken to a seat where there’s no TV view so i asked for a better seat which they did give us. On social media mentioned blender having a special on drinks and food which was not the case. We still enjoyed our night and the food place is beautiful , but I feel like they should advertise and be more ready for this. But I’ll def go back again overall everything was good"

"When i got my food i check and was suppose get a hole chicken and got half of chicken and 4 legs ,2 wing then they fries look like it was open not even seal at the top off and very dry and old I also missing a soda and at lease plantain was very good and veg was also good yet it took 55 mins that was not bad and driver was very nice. they still need to be more honest my plate came to 20.00 and i should have got hold chicken not parts .well the driver came and gave me soda that was nicebut i dont think ill order from there again"

"This restaurant is exceptionally clean and at hearing to the mask and social distancing rules. The food was delicious.. we ordered a dish called paella (pronounced pa.. a.. ya) Which is a Yellow rice dish with Sweet peas red and green peppers And an aray of seafood chicken and pork.. At your request they may be able to serve the rice peas and peppers with just seafood or just chicken or just pork A small salad which should actually be a bigger serving is served with your rice and a side of Fried plantains. Great service and the restaurant is exceptionally clean.. Don't forget to try the flan dessert.. Absolutely delicious."

"I usually get the rotisserie chicken. The seasoning used is MUY DELISIOSO!!!!!!!. FYI I have actually eaten half in one sitting..lol. The establishment is extremely clean , ie.the front glass counters, floors swept always, trays containing various foods, as well as the front window which displays several different foods including the front glass door are always kept clean, everytime that I have visited. They also have a few small tables which present an intimate atmosphere in my opinion; and there is music playing continuously. The staff is very friendly and greets each and every customer with a smile!!! Their menu is Spanish cuisine and there is a large variety, eg. Carne Asada, barbecue ribs, pork roasts, ect. The rice is always fresh and includes white,yellow, and arroz con gandules. Although I have not tasted all dishes, the place is always full of customers. You can call your orders ahead but they don't deliver. Don't let that stop you from patronizing this place or you will surely be missing out on a wonderful culinary experience. oops forgot to mention : all major credit cards accepted...delivery IS available thru Uber eats and GRUBHUB....ADDITIONALLY , a large varied breakfast is served as well as soups and sandwiches many,many choices yum!!!! Dont forget to pick up a salad and definitely try the Seafood menu. Enjoy!!"

"The restaurant was clean, my steak tacos had no flavor , rice was dry like it had been sitting out , refried beans I don't eat . Cashier was very nice I told her I had a coupon as she watched me look for it on my phone then she said the owner not there to take it then she says it needs to be printed but it clearly says show it to server when placing order . Burrito had no flavor I was disappointed because they had great reviews and I drove a great way to try them. 1st visit wasn't impressed ?"

"This was one of those places where I wasn't sure whether to give 3 stars or 4 but the combination of food and service led me to a solid 3. Lets just begin by saying I came here with a party of 30. When there are 30 ppl to be served things are not going to be easy on the staff. We had a pre-fixe menu which included family style servings of the following: Appetizers: Salad Calamari Empandas Entrees: Steak Paella Salmon Chicken Rice, beans, yuca platanos Now just to be clear everything that we had was fantastic. I left completely stuffed and although I am never a huge fan of family style its always nice to try everything. My only complaint is that there was nowhere near enough steak to go around. Other than that everything else was very good. The price was about $28pp if my memory serves correctly and that included unlimited soda NOT alcohol which was obviously a separate cost. The main server did the best he could but at times I could tell that he was overwhelmed. We had our own cake for the occasion and they wanted to charge us to use their plates. This is where they lost that 1 star. We had spent about $1,600 after food and drinks and couldn't use some plates for cake? Thats where they lost me. So for food yes this place is good but they need to reevaluate how they treat paying customers!"

"This restaurant allowed me to book reservations for New Years Eve night over two weeks ahead and was closed. They did not answer our calls when we tried to touch base to confirm the two days prior. We showed up to the restaurant and had to find elsewhere to eat without any notice the restaurant would not be open this night. Please block off dates in the future if you’re going to be closed. This ruined my family’s New Year’s Eve dinner and last night in Cabo. Will never attempt to eat here ever again"

"The quality of the food was good; however, the service was poor. After waiting an hour after we first ordered, they brought out the appetizers at the same time as the entrées, not only for our table but for the table next to us as well. Despite the waitress writing down each of our orders, she still managed to forget to place one of the orders. The owners who were aware of this did nothing to make it right. It is unfortunate that this small business does not have restaurant experience particularly in customer service because the quality of the food is actually quite good."
