The Dominican food here is excellent. While some dishes can be hit or miss, the staff is always welcoming and friendly.

It's a neighborhood restaurant and bar that offers a mostly calm atmosphere for enjoying a beer. During the weekdays, it's typically quieter, but it tends to get busier on the weekends! View menu

Ordered through their website and received no update. When I called they stated they don’t use menustar and to call them for a refund. Called to place pickup order and was hung up on. Worst customer service website and menu is not updated.

Everything here is genuinely authentic! The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a pleasure to discover an authentic restaurant in a rapidly changing city where prices are on the rise and neighborhoods are evolving. I give it 5 stars all around!

The food is tasty and not overly salty. There are plenty of options to choose from. There is a large selections of Dominican dishes that cone in very generous portions with fair prices. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Many times a fresh pot of coffee was brewed when I ordered coffee. View menu

I ordered a whole chicken, which was supposed to come with a side, but I only received undercooked chicken. I also ordered sancocho, which was supposed to include two sides. I selected tostones and white rice, but instead got dry, overcooked sweet plantains that seemed like they might have been refried. The Cuban sandwich was very dry, featuring cold slices of cheese and ham, and it didn’t have any pickles, mayo, or mustard.

I would recommend not ordering from this restaurant. I tried their fried fish with rice and their stewed chicken with rice and beans, but had a disappointing experience. The potato salad I received was spoiled, so I called them, and they replaced it with macaroni salad. While eating the rice and beans, I found a hair in my food. To make matters worse, the owner had the audacity to ask for the food back after I had already taken some bites!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
