"I called to place an order for pick up. Asked how much was a large tripe soup with rice, lady said $14 but I couldn?t place the order I had to go to the restaurant. I go to the restaurant, my order is ready and she said I have to pay $21. ??? What!! wewent back and forth and I reminded her that I was the person she spoke to over the phone. But the funny part is when I said Iwas not paying $21 for a tripe soup and a small rice. She said ?but we already warmed up the soup for you? ??? Lol It?s not EVENMADE TODAY!? I definitely don?t want it now. SELLING ME A SOUP WHO KNOWS HOW OLD IT IS FOR $21. I walked over to LiberatoRestaurant on 183rd Jerome ave. They charged me $13 ; (by the way, I am aware that restaurant food can be there for days I wasjust being extra for her trying to rip me off."

"The food was overly salty. Their take on a fajita resembled more of a cheeseburger, as it was buried under an excessive amount of cheese, which is not typical for fajitas. The tortilla soup was decent, but the enchiladas were very salty, and I ended up leaving half of my meal behind. I have no urge to return."

"Very very disappointed with service from the manager or owner. I been shopping there for the past 14 years. I pretty much get the same thing everyday. To make a long story short, something that cost $8, he said cost $12 three weeks ago and last week he said the same thing cost $10 and said with a loud mean spirit.. I spend about $1000 each year; about $14,000 the past 14 years. So I will boycott for now and spend my money elsewhere."

"I've ordered from this restaurant twice, and both times my order was incorrect. There's always something off with what I receive. For instance, I ordered tres golpes, but it didn't come with fried cheese. I requested cheese empanadas and received chicken instead. I also ordered a combo that included baked chicken, moro, and beans, but the beans were missing. The moro was very dry, almost as if it wasn't fresh, and the mangu was overly oily."

"This place, oh my gosh, a hidden jewel! First of all, I love the ambience. There are huge paintings of Charros, (a special Mexican cowboy culture, look it up it's beautiful), on the raw brick walls, and not only main floor seating but upstairs and downstairs as well!!!! We were seated within minutes after being greeted by the lovely owner. Now the food. Never have I had such a wonderful molé and pasole! Yes, even though serving were ample, I ordered both because I couldn't decide and I am so happy I did!!! Leftovers for at least 3 meals of the best tasting, freshly made dishes. The molé had a deep earthy chocolate flavor that was the perfect flavor and texture. The pasolé had a great kick but was a good slow burn not so spicy it made your eyes water! Last but not least. THE MARGARITAS!! Perfection. They make them from scratch. I am a bartender and I absolutely hate margarita mix. They knock out these perfect margs from the simplest ingredients, and they are perfect. Prices are fantastic too-on everything. I guess I also need to add a few words about service!Service was non-obtrusive yet there when we needed it and extremely prompt delivery of everything. Go here. Don't walk, run! Get a pitcher of homemade margaritas, some drool worthy food, and have a wonderfully delicious time!"

"Worst dining experience ever. We asked to be seated on the lower patio the hostess told us they were bigger tables so we couldn 't sit there seated us on the upper patio. She proceeded to seat no less than 6 couples including the mother daughter who were waiting for a table at the same time we were on the lower patio. When my fiancé asked what was up with that, the hostess walked away slammed her fist on the wall as she was walking inside. Very unprofessional. Our waitress walked away halfway thru us ordering when we finally got our food there was no silverware. The food was mediocre but on a positive note, the male servers ran their butt 's off to get the food out. We will not be returning."

"The food is too pricey, they serve you only a half of cup of beans and white rice. Usually authentic restaurants serve you more beans then that especially if it's for two people. Their bathrooms have water saving old system which sadly they need to change asap. It gets clogged to easy and to me that's a big don't go back. They only get 2 stars because they do have a bar and the place is bit centric for a stop and go but I would not recommend it for a picky, clean eater like myself.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp but don't go past 4:00pm too crowded."

"Went and got some chilaquiles, meat was good and chilaqulies themselvers were alright but a couple bites in and I found a long black hair under my chilaquiles, Gave the plate back to the waiter and when I paid my bill they did not want to discount the plate from my bill because the server said her hair was blonde. I told them to check the cameras so they can see me pulling a long hair from inside my chilaquiles but they refused. Have been a loyal customer for years but after this experience I am definitely not coming back. Since they would not discount it off my bill I had them make me another one and gave it to a homeless man downtown because I didn’t trust them to make it again"

He responded with a curt “sit right here.” He took our drink orders and brought the food, but when my friend asked for something, he simply said, “the other lady is your server.” The female server also seemed unhappy to help us; she didn’t even acknowledge me with a thank you when I paid. "Staff were friendly, and the decor is very (stereo)typical for a Mexican restaurant. The food is solid, if unremarkable again, exactly what you'd expect from a super typical Mexican restaurant in the southeastern US. I will say the entrees were much better than the appetizer salsa, which had me worried about the quality of the rest of the menu. The margarita pitcher we got also tasted a bit weak/made with a mix, but maybe the individual cocktails fare better."
