"The food is too pricey, they serve you only a half of cup of beans and white rice. Usually authentic restaurants serve you more beans then that especially if it's for two people. Their bathrooms have water saving old system which sadly they need to change asap. It gets clogged to easy and to me that's a big don't go back. They only get 2 stars because they do have a bar and the place is bit centric for a stop and go but I would not recommend it for a picky, clean eater like myself.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp but don't go past 4:00pm too crowded."

Love the food here. I prefer to order inside rather than deliver because it can take awhile but i haven't had too many issues here. The roasted chicken and the pernil are excellent and the portion sizes are great.

The food is tastier earlier in the day. The establishment is well-kept, and the restroom is spotless! I felt at ease during my visit, especially thanks to the counter service staff, who are always very friendly. Food: 5/5

It's super exciting to find a real Spanish restaurant. Food and service were outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to sit and eat in a semi traditional place.Staff: Thank you very much for making my day. View menu

I ordered arroz con gandules and pollo chicharrón with tostones. Please excuse the Spanglish! Lol, I fell in love with the mojo sauce; it was fantastic. I also tried the coconut juice, but it needed some sugar, so I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, I give the food a 4 out of 5.

Tostones weren't fresh. I would've gone to caridad across the street but they were closed on a Friday night. I ordered the farmer frita and while it was okay, I honestly expected better. It does the job but don't expect top notch Dominican food and flavor, definitely not freshness.

The service was terrible, which is what I expected from a place like this. They impose extra charges for dining in and while they have staff, none of them offer any assistance, such as providing chairs or anything else. It felt like they were doing me a favor by serving me. I really didn't enjoy my experience! Food rating: 2/5. View menu

I went to this restaurant 2/26/2023 for breakfast. The service was horrible ? I waited at the counter no one ask if I needed anything. Once the women approached me after walking pass me several times. She was so angry I'm not sure why, I guessed my mere presence upset her. How dare I walk in to patronize this place. My advice, avoid Sandy's Restaurant in addition the food was terrible! I was simply devastated at the behavior of the staff. I would give No stars if I could.

Decided to a local spot that had always been a neighborhood gem. The food was the same quality as before but did the job a filled me. The shrimp in garlic was great but the rice was a bit too moist. The chicken was good for my partner but did not enjoy his rice as well. We enjoyed our drinks while we chatted. The service was good here and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Not a place we would frequently visit but glad to revisit an old favorite with may locals that come to eat here as well with a full ok bar to sit at as well.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
