"This place is usually good when I come in, but we spent $77 on a delivery and the meat was literally RAW and FROZEN SOLID. Like ice cube frozen. I called in and a staff member told me to just stick it in the microwave and it would be fine?. Unbelievable. No apology or anything. The rest of the order was cold and a total mess, and they didn?t include any spices or sauces. I?m actually in shock at how bad this order was. Who would eat this?"

"I 'm not sure what continuously made me want to avoid Rong Bien Restaurant but I am deeply ashamed by all the times I shot my man down whenever he brought up the idea of dining here. While there are a number of delicious neighboring eateries, I find Rong Bien to be easily overlooked and that truly is a shame. The restaurant is quite beautiful, granted the entire place was decked out in an abundance of Lunar New Year decor. The established not only looked clean, it also smelled clean. With that being said, some may find the scent of clean to be a bit overpowering but I was pleasantly surprised because it was very apparent that corners were not being cut when it comes down to sanitizing. The seating is spaced out and all of the booths come equipped with clear plastic dividers. RB 's menu is quite extensive and could easily be a bit overwhelming to someone who isn 't too familiar with Vietnamese cuisine but management does a really good job at clearly labeling items typically served as appetizers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, specialty items, and they even offer pre-set family meals. Breakfast for us consisted of: Mi Dac Biet Kho- House Specialty Egg Noodles (dry) Hu Tieu Mi Nam Vang Kho- Combination Rice Egg Phnom Penh Noodles (dry) Chen Trung Cut- Side order of Quail Eggs Cam Vat Khong Da- Fresh squeezed OJ (hold the ice for an slight upcharge) Food: Both noodle dishes were delicious and the herb provided were fresh. Noodles were not overcooked and the amount of food provided was not skimpy. Bonus points because the bowls of soup on the side were plentiful and contained delicious bones that contained marrow-YUM!!! $4 additional bucks well spent for the side order of quail eggs. Not only were they large in size but that too contained a generous portion. Condiments provided tableside allows for patrons to customize their dishes according to their liking. FYI: don 't sleep on RB 's house special sauce, that stuff is liquid gold. 5/5 Stars. Food is absolutely delicious, items are fairly priced and large portions are provided compared to other noodle joints who sell the same item. I look forward to coming back and trying out other dishes RB has to offer. I 'M A FAN!!"

"I just discovered this hidden gem! The beef pho is absolutely incredible—richly flavorful with a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess in the broth. Their crab rangoon is among the best I've ever had, paired wonderfully with sweet and sour sauce. Don't miss out on the Vietnamese coffee for an extra boost of energy. The server, who might be the owner, was incredibly kind and friendly, even taking the time to explain how to reheat the pho at home since I was taking it to go. I’ll definitely be returning to this restaurant soon!"

"Missed expectations. 1. We wanted to order BBH, but it wasn?t on the Menu. I saw a photo of bbh on the google photos. 2. I tried to order a kids meal (it was on the menu) and was told that they don?t sell them. 3. I tried to order a passion fruit tea, and was told they don?t sell those either (it was on the menu as well). 4. There are no napkins on the table, and the server brings you 4 thin napkins. You pay and tip before you eat, which is fine, but I know some people like to adjust accordingly based on service and food, and you don?t get to do that here. The food was average, and the servings were large, but the prices were also a little steep."

"I'm returning tomorrow after more than ten years. The restaurant is quite cramped, making it difficult for those with mobility challenges. My late mother loved this place before she used a wheelchair, and that was one of the reasons we stopped visiting. Cleanliness was another concern, particularly in the washroom. "I've been a regular at Phat Ky for over 10 years, but since moving to Richmond seven years ago, I've only managed to visit twice. On my latest trip back from Hobby, I decided to stop by and order my usual: fried rice, General Tso's chicken, and crab puffs. Unfortunately, everything I received was quite disappointing. The General Tso's was tough and didn't taste fresh, the crab puffs were flavorless, and the fried rice had definitely lost its appeal. I called to speak with the manager, Mark, who kindly offered to remake my meal. However, since I live 30 minutes away, I’d rather take the time to return during the week for a full refund."

"Some people have complained about the restaurant's early closing time, but I think anyone who runs or has worked in a restaurant understands that they need time to clean and prepare for the next day. If the restaurant closes at 8:30 PM, please avoid arriving after 8:00 PM. When you do that, it puts pressure on the staff, as they have to accommodate you even as they are trying to wrap up for the night. It can be challenging to finish your meal, including ordering and settling the bill, in just half an hour. Please be considerate and avoid adding extra stress to the team, and remember to tip them appropriately for their hard work. Anything less would be quite impolite."

"Great little area, food is super good, soup base needed nothing. I was gonna add in the sirracha, but I tasted the soup. Mind Blown. "Authentic pho that draws in the locals! We arrived at 7 PM on a Saturday and found the place bustling with activity. We ordered takeout for five, and it easily fed all eight members of our family with some leftovers. I've heard that authentic beef is cooked by putting it in hot broth, but I've never seen a restaurant that slices the raw beef for you to cook in the broth yourself. It was an incredible experience! The kitchen was lively, and when the manager brought out our order, he mentioned they had served 50 bowls in just 30 minutes—definitely impressive. The broth was exceptional and came with all the typical pho accompaniments. The fish was decent, but it paled in comparison to the beef and brisket, which really highlights just how fantastic the beef was—not a knock on the seafood at all. Our group consisted of four kids and four adults, with two of them being new to pho, while the other six were seasoned fans. By the end of the night, everyone was satisfied, including all four kids!"

"The food is really fresh and good but they can be so unbelievably slow.
