"First off, a huge shoutout to the Carlos O'Kelly's team for running their 2/22/22 margarita special tonight. It seemed like everyone from the tri-county area decided to dine out, as they actually reached full capacity by 6:30 PM. The staff worked incredibly hard and stayed friendly and helpful despite the chaos. Well done!
Now, onto the food, which was absolutely fantastic. Pictured is their signature queso, a must-try, served with light and airy chips. The salsa is fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the Enchilada de Monterey, a pulled chicken stuffed flour tortilla smothered in poblano cheese sauce, served with cilantro lime rice and black beans—truly stellar! Another standout was the Enchilada San Carlos: two pulled chicken enchiladas, one covered in a smoky Diablo cream sauce and the other in the creamy poblano sauce. The Diablo sauce has a nice kick, packed with mesquite flavor, and is simply amazing. Be sure to check out Carlos O’Kelly’s menu for these local favorites!"
