"I sent this letter to Amy, the General Manager of Babbo, the 29th of July, 2022 and have yet to receive any response. I expected more! I am a real fan of Babbo’s and frequently have lunch there. I appreciate the lunch prices and it tends to be quiet with excellent service. Today was a bit different and I wanted you to know. I ordered the mushroom asparagus pasta with a spring mix salad. The spring mix salad did not have any pine nuts or golden raisins. There was a beard hair in my pasta. And, thankfully, this is the one and only time any such thing has happened. Further, walking in, the entry throw rug is filthy. Going back to the restroom, the hallway is cluttered and filthy as well. The area behind the booths, near the kitchen where staff go, is dirty too. Don’t even get me started on putting a baby in the dirty high chairs. The place looks as if it hasn’t been vacuumed, let alone cleaned, in way too long! I know you are short-staffed, etc. but that is no excuse for such lack of mere surface cleanliness. Today is the first time I thought about how dirty the kitchen may be. It might be a minute before I return; kinda lost my appetite today. But, I don’t want to give up on Babbo’s, so I’m hoping this is news to you and you will correct the matter. As of today, August 4, 2022, it has not mattered to the General Manager of Babbo Restaurants! Still not! August 9 And, nope, still nothing September 4th...wow. And here we still are, November 11, no word, no improvement!!"
