"Let start with the good The food was very good Now the bad This is a high end restaurant and when you spend $300 on dinner you expect exceptional service We had to ask for bread, ask for water to be refilled At times our server was no where to be found and the restaurant was almost empty. We were never asked if we wanted more bread either. Kitchen did a good job food did come out in a timely manner . But as stated restaurant was almost empty as well . I go to a lot of steakhouse and if service was better would have made this more of a regular. But service does not justify the price"

"We arrived early on a Saturday 4:30). Parking was easy via valet at Hotel Signia next door $20 first hr, then $2/hr: Quiet at first, but diners picked up by 5:30pm pleasant party atmosphere. Definitely date night by number of couples and some small groups, families, etc. Had great drinks; martini and “SANTO PALOMA” Santo Blanco Tequila, Agave, Fever Tree Pink Grapefruit), split an iceberg wedge salad, split a loaded baked potato, ordered the French fried onions excellent), NY strip steak Oros King Salmon — ALL VERY GOOD!."

"The food was amazing. I got the Wagyu filet mignon and my husband ordered the Porterhouse. We added the black truffle butter which was delicious! For appetizers we ordered the Ahi Poke, was good but not what we were expecting. We also ordered the Jumbo shrimp cocktail which is always very tasty! Our server Ed was really what made our dining experience great. He went above and beyond for us and was very attentive despite having many other tables to attend to, as well as a guest that had issues with some reward program. He also surprised us with the famous Morton’s Hot Chocolate cake which was the perfect end to our meal. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful dining experience Ed! "We had the three course chateaubriand special. It was excellent, easily the best steak Morton's has ever served us. But service was a disaster. Our server disappeared for long stretches at a time, and the kitchen seemed very understaffed. The room was never more than 40% full. We arrived at 6:30, hardly prime time and it still took us two hours forty minutes to get thru a three course meal."

"A couple weeks ago I headed to Stoke for some cocktails with a few coworkers. This was the first time any of us had been and we were pleasantly surprised. We learned that the establishment places a large emphasis on being a part of the community by using local ingredients and serving products from the surrounding area. Stoke offers many of the Charlotte and North Carolina beers which placed the state on the craft brewery map. Some of the beers on tap include NoDa Brewing Company, Wooden Robot Brewery, Triple C Brewing Co. and Wicked Weed Brewing. They also have a great list of unique craft cocktails. Many of the cocktails on their menu are old classics with a twist. We learned that one of these concoctions, The Uptown Sour, intrigued a Marriott executive so much that he jumped on a plane so he could try it for himself! The desire to use local ingredients can also be seen in their food. We had a few of their appetizers (pretzel brioche, beef bone marrow, crispy oysters) which were all amazing. We could tell that this group understands the importance of top notch service when the Director of Eat Drink, Sean Potter, delivered our appetizers to our table providing us with an informative description of the ingredients and preparation techniques. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. I loved Stoke's open kitchen design which compliments the modern yet welcoming atmosphere very well. Although the restaurant is located within the Charlotte Marriott City Center, this is definitely not your average hotel restaurant. Chef Chris Coleman is doing a fantastic job which has created national attention. Stoke was listed on USA Today's Top 20 Restaurants to Try This Fall (2016) and that's a well-deserved accolade. You should definitely add Stoke to your must try list in Charlotte."

"If you want a really good steak then don't go to downtown Frederick. Go to the Red Horse Steak House at the entrance to the Golden Mile. I've never had a fillet at any other restaurant in Frederick that is anywhere near the quality for tenderness and taste that I've only had at the Red Horse. While others beef is acceptable. Beef at the Red Horse is spectacular! You can also count on tasty sides like the oven-roasted Brussel sprouts, green beans, et al The service is friendly, swift, and excellent. The Red Horse is very clean and sanitized. All staff were wearing masks and sufficiently spaced apart. We felt very safe throughout our dining experience The owner, Kenny Bromfield, always presents himself at your table to ensure that everything is to your liking. "This was our second time here. My son treated me for my birthday dinner. Our server was Chris and he was attentive and professional. I ordered an 8 Oz. Filet Mignon with truffle butter. It was cooked to perfection. I also ordered lobster bisque for an appetizer and it was amazing. They brought me a dessert of my choice for my birthday and I chose the creme brulee and it was perfect. "When we walked in, we was greeted by a very nice person who suggested that we have a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. The lady at the bar was not very friendly. No eye contact. She looked annoyed by us askiing f they had any specialty drinks. She handed us a menu and walked away. I had to get her attention to even order my drink. After getting a drink, I asked if we were able to bring the drinks to the table or do we need to close out the tab? She said we needed to pay there, so we pay there After talking to the hostess he said we couldn't have just transferred the bill. We were seated it, and waited about another 5 to 10 minutes for menus then bread even came before the menus, then were told that the kitchen closed at 9 PM. Why did they allow us to make a 8:15 reservation wasn't seated to 835 didn't take our order until 8:50. We ordered the lobster soup, so excited to try. It had one small piece of lobster inside of the soup. Another person at the table had 3 pieces of lobster in there the soup. We ordered 3 medium.Well done and one medium rear. When our steaks arrived they were all medium rare, The kitchen was already closed so we didn't want to return our food and take a chance of not havinganythingto eat .We tried to eat them as much as we could.which was so sad because it was our 1st time visiting Mortons. Let's not talk about dessert Overall 1st experience at Morton's was disappointing. Waitress mary was very nice."

"I treated a friend for helping me with a nonprofit fundraiser, and we had the best meal of our lives! We wanted to try everything, so that’s exactly what we did. "Celebrating the chauffeurs birthday with lunch at Morton's Steakhouse. This isn't a Texas Roadhouse steakhouse but a swanky affair. The seating is plentiful and while we were seated easily on a Thursday afternoon; I would recommend reservations for peak hours. This is a pricey place as two diners with drinks came to $195 before gratuity (and they earned one). The thing is...the price is worth it. The food was superb. Thankfully we didn't fill up on the fresh warm bread that was brought to the table because we wouldn't have been able to finish our meals. The birthday boy had the crabcake meal. Me, the filet mignon with Oscar crab. We shared the onion rings (tasty but we didn't finish them either). The staff was attentive and friendly. However, the server and the quality of the food DID NOT make our celebration a day to remember nor a restaurant that we would like to visit ever again. The server was rude with his unnessesary comments and the steak was undercooked. After being there, we've decided not to make any complaints about the experience, simply not to make our anniversary celebration a negative experience and simply go with the flow of things. "My husband and I were celebrating our 36 wedding anniversary and decided to have dinner here at Morton’s. When we arrived at the time of our reservation we were greeted with “Happy Anniversary “ and our menus were printed with the greeting and our names making it even more special. Even the servers wished us happy anniversary. Service was wonderful. Everyone was polite, professional and courteous. Food was delicious from the oysters to the ribeye to the dessert. My only criticism is that the cocktail. Ordered a martini and when it came to the table the glass was a nice size but the pour from the shaker only filled it half way. For $18 I expected a full glass. That aside, it was a nice way to spend our anniversary."

"The server was amazing and so was the food. The only issue I had was with the hostess. She seemed to have an attitude and was not very accommodating. I come to this restaurant all the time with my boyfriend and we have always been able to sit on the main floor where the ambience is nice. The hostess put us in the corner all the way at the very back of the restaurant in a separate open room that I didn’t even know existed. It was stuffy and was literally the worst table and chairs. Very uncomfortable. I asked if we could possibly sit somewhere else and she said with an attitude that the other tables were for other guests. So the empty tables I walked by on the main floor were for other guests who weren’t even there yet I guess. This hosts needs better training on how to communicate with guest. My server was awesome I do not want my rating to reflect on him at all. He was very attentive and friendly"
