"Update to owner’s rambling: The “lady” that took my order was a dude. The 3 workers were 2 young guys and one girl. The girl never came to the register area. There was no microphone. The dude read back the order and included the relish, which was omitted. We did not sit in the back. Didn’t bother trying to get do-overs with the counter area crowded with people waiting to place orders but workers struggling to keep up the pace. Yes, I was aware of the variation in your ingredients as I previously mentioned and tried it anyway. Not sure why you’re bringing “Addie” into this. I never spoke with any female employee. Maybe you have me confused with another dissatisfied customer. Wanted to try this place for quite some time. Should have waited quite longer. I’m not from Chicago (or any place north) but a Chicago dog is a specific set of toppings. I was willing to try their variation and was duly disappointed. Couldn’t even taste the dead pickle. Noticed in description it did not include relish so added that but it was omitted anyway. The bread was old … looked old, smelled old, tasted old. Sport pepper was subbed with chopped pepperoncino. If you can’t make a legit Chicago dog, why put it on the “specialty” menu? Also ordered a southern staple “all the way” as a backup. Didn’t think that could possibly be worse than the specialty but wrong again. Bread was worse and toppings tasteless. Fries were the highlight but that’s not saying much. At least they were hot but greasy and almost soggy. Catsup and salt rescued the whole meal. Hard to imagine Sonic could make a better hotdog than a “hotdog” place but …"
