"It began when we were served without a fork, which took 10 minutes to bring because there were none clean—they were all being washed. The General Manager even suggested that we could just take a fork from the next table! When we ordered our second round of Twisted Rabbits, they were sweeter than usual. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she relayed our feedback to the bartender, who essentially accused me of having drunk half the drink already.
When we decided to leave, we received our bill, which included charges for four drinks even though we never got our fourth drink. The General Manager didn't even make an effort to apologize for the rude behavior of his staff or to adjust our bill, much less offer a complimentary drink.
Needless to say, this place is no longer on my favorites list, and I won't be recommending it to anyone. Just a few blocks away is an incredible spot called Nomad (Mediterranean cuisine), where the atmosphere, food, and staff are much more welcoming! It's located on 2nd Avenue between 4th and 5th. When you go, tell the owner that Lisa and Jane sent you!"
