"I tried the Chili Gobi, asking for it to be spicy. Unfortunately, it was not crispy at all and lacked spiciness. It was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. I might try the Gobi Manchurian to see if it's any better. I love Palak Aloo Saag, so I was pleased to find a vegan version on the menu. I requested it to be spicy, but it was just okay. It wasn't the best I've had, and it felt like it was missing something. The Poori was different but fine, while the vegetable samosas were delicious with their crispy, flaky texture and well-seasoned filling. The menu clearly marks vegan options with a "V" and also includes labels for gluten-free (GF), nut-free (NF), and dairy-free (DF) dishes. I would like to try more vegan items like the Bhindi Masala and dosas. Overall, I might return to this restaurant, but it wouldn't be my top choice based on my experience."

"Tried this for the first time today. After a long night and craving some tasty Indian food, we found out our usual place was closed. This is much closer and I am so glad we tried it! Here 's what we ordered: Chicken Curry $18.95 Medium $0.00 This one was a little disappointing in terms of portion size it was a lot of sauce and not much chicken. However the dish itself tasted great! Garlic Naan GN x 2 $8.00 Naan is fresh, garlicky and a smidge chewy but not in a bad way. Less fluffy, more stretchy, if that makes sense Mix Vegetable Curry Vegan $17.95 Spicy $0.25 Tasty, good portion, nice variety of veggies Baingan Bhurta vegan $17.95 Medium $0.00 This is an eggplant dish, and I loved it! I was looking for something similar to this stuffed eggplant dish I get and this was similar, and very very good. Comes with yogurt sauce on this side. Good size portion. Chicken Dum Biryani $16.95 Spicy $0.25 HEFTY!! Great for the price. The chicken is bone on, but that so it adds flavor. The spice is right for sure! I would say this is like Indian fried rice . Lots of flavor lots of stuff really really good. I chose the spiciest version and it 's the perfect amount of heat if you like spicy. A little too hot for him, but I really enjoyed it. Saag Aloo curry ALU $17.95 Medium $0.00 By far my favorite. Yes it 's green, but if you like spinach and potatoes, you 're gonna love it. Good portion here as well. Aloo Kale Tikki 3 Pcs $6.95 I wasn 't the biggest fan of these. They are sweet in flavor. My boyfriend really liked them. They 're little potato and kale patties with a type of chutney esque sauce on top. You get three to an order, which is a little up there. We did a take out order, and picked it up. Inside was nice and smelled great. You can sit down or take out, there are servers if you want to dine in. The owner who gave us our order was extremely personable and helpful! I think we found another great Indian spot! The only downside is that it 's more expensive than our usual place. It is also odd that they charge more for spice level, but we did like it a lot. I know that this type of cuisine takes an eternity to make, and there are a lot of ingredients but it is certainly up there price wise."

"The flavors here are fantastic! We ordered butter chicken, chicken curry, and butter naan, and everything was delicious. They will ask you about your preferred spice level. Since it was our first visit, we opted for mild, which turned out to be quite gentle, so we'll definitely try something spicier next time. We will certainly return! The service was excellent, and they even offer complimentary mango soft serve, which was light and tasty. If you're looking to step away from the usual dining options in Jacksonville, this is the perfect spot!"

"we have been coming to this restaurant for 10 years. the quality of food has been good in recent years, but on our last visit, they had not samosas! how can an Indian restaurant have no samosas? also the service was not as good as before, as the waiter was not very attentive. we ordered a tandoori chicken ktikka masala package and on garlauch naan we do not get. when we told the waiter, he seemed to be upset with us. the garlic naan is the best we have ever had, although that has gone quality. we will continue to come to this place as eating is very good quality. only a few things did not work at this recent visit."

U will get the feeling of eating the same as when you eat in India. 3) Bombay Chicken biryani (4.2/5) Sharkling from Mumbai I loved this because it is exactly the same thing I have in my hometown except to put the egg. It is delicious and the chicken pieces are also fresh and delicate, they have added large masalas for this special dish. 4) Fire masala dosa (4.5/5) If you love too much spicy, this is suitable for you. Very sharp and brilliant. This dish is only for spicy food lovers. 5) Chole bhature (5/5) (highly recommended) if you love this dish, it is the best here. Not an **** feature fan, but it feels like you're eating in old Gully from Chandni-Chowk from delhi 6) Dal makhani (3.5/5) Again one of the best dishes from the main course for which you can choose. It is really delicious and with garlic naan it is simply scrumbling. 7) Hariyali Chicken (4/5) if you have a white meat chicken person, that is then best. One of the most important courses I would recommend to others. 8) Chicken chettinadu (5/5) before I came here, I had not tasted this dish and a very recommended one from my side. Simply brilliant and delicious in taste. One day I also came to the buffet and all the items were tasteful and buffet is available only on weekends The service was fast and the staff is friendly. "I 'm always looking for a local place to get some good Indian food. The atmosphere is very modern and casual with several booths lining the walls and a few tables and chairs in the center. The current ordering process is a little different. A waitstaff will come to the table and take your order on a digital pad. From what I experienced, they want you to be ready to order everything you want at once. They don 't want to take your drink/appetizers order and come back for your main meal. The food is very good. They have a good variety of dishes but I feel like the prices are a little on the expensive side. $15 per dish is a bit steep for me. We ordered two goat dishes and asked for hot , I found the spice level was perfect. The only problem I had was that the bones were left in the meat. I felt like the majority of my dish was bones. There were perhaps 3 cubes of meat without bones, and the rest were slivers of meat on mostly bone. This directly impacts the portions of food that you get and feels like it was a waste to order this dish. Otherwise, I really liked the food. The staff are very friendly. I think, if you want Indian food in Lafayette and don 't want to pay as much as you would at Masalas, it 's a good place to try."

"Oh my gosh! Outside of work I havent had genuinely good Indian food since leaving NY.. this was fantastic! The Chicken Chicken Tikka Masala was perfect! My teens have also never actually had authentic Indian cuisine before; my 13 year old had the Bhel Puri and my 16 year old (who LOVES heat) had the Goat Rogan Josh. They are both immediate huge fans! So excited to find the real deal here in Palm Coast!"

"The taste is very good but the service is WORST( understatement) and the quantity is average. I went on a dosa night. They force you to eat idli, upma, wada and pongal along with the first dosa (plain dosa only) which I didn't want to eat as I came for dosa night and didn't want to waste as it is food!! And you dont have the option to change or modify the items. This is their trap to fill your stomach after the first serving itself.Then we ordered 2 dosas which came after 20 mins!!! Then we ordered 3 dosas next. The server brought only the dosas without the chutney! I waited for the chutney to arrive which never arrived even after asking multiple times. I waited for 15 20 mins!! Finally, as I was finishing my dosas (WITHOUT THE CHUTNEY), the server brought it and when I told him that I have already finished eating my dosa. He asked me to order another dosa to eat with this chutney which obviously i didn't want to!!When i asked for the check, they charged us 15 usd per person which was not accurate from what they said a week ago. When i told the server that their price was 12.99 usd ,he told that they changed it 2 months ago. Which obviously was not correct as they told me that it is 12.99 usd a week ago!!Next, they have halal sign on the front door. I called them and asked if they have a certificate for halal meat, they said yes. After reaching the restaurant, when i asked about it they did not have it . The receptionist told me that they have it inside and will get it and show it to me which never happened. So, basically I am not sure if they really have it. Why would a restaurant keep their halal certificate inside?They also have items on the menu they dont serve yet so check with them before going there.It doesn't end here!! I also tried ordering online. They close at 1 AM in the night and ran out of mutton biryani at 8 PM!! And replaced it with bone in chicken biryaani without informing/asking me. When I called them to change it to boneless chicken biryaani they said ran ran out of that as well. Then I asked them to change it to fried rice, then they said that the chef is not available. Really? At 8 PM?? When they close at 1 AM!! I mean come on!! When the chicken biryani arrived, the chicken quality was very bad. The meat was all pink on the inside. Looked like the chicken was not fresh at all!!!I lost trust in them and I am not going to return to this restaurant ever again!!!Now, I understood why their rating is so bad online!! The service!! I would have given negative rating if possible!!"

"I could never eat from here again. First off you have to get pass all the pan handlers waiting outside the building. My GOSH, wasn't that scary. We order our food online and arrive at the estimated time given and had to wait another 45 mins before getting our food. I've experienced Indian cuisine before throughout Milwaukee an I've grown to love it, but this food was different. In a BAD way. We ordered other things as well but my Naan bread was crewy to the point it would not pull apart, the Butter Chicken was bland in taste, and the Indian Rice pudding was not cooked it was RAW and I ordered a Indian pickle and it wasn't in the bag. This was a horrible first time experience. I'm sure they can do better."

"Without a doubt, this is the best Indian food within a hundred-mile radius. We tried the lamb coconut korma, chicken tikka masala, goat biryani, and cheese naan, and it was absolutely incredible! "We went for restaurant week, where most participating restaurants have a fixed-price 3 course meal where you pick from a few options for each course. Nama on the other hand, gave you a little bit of everything on the menu, which was a nice surprise. There was certainly a lot of food for a reasonable price. The appetizers (a fried cauliflower, tomato cream soup and naan) were all quite tasty. The main courses (a paneer dish, butter chicken and a lentil dish) all were a little bland. They had some spices and flavoring, but not at the intensity we'd expect from an Indian restaurant. I'm not sure if it was jut the restaurant week menu or what, but it's almost like they were catering their dishes to people new to and unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. They didn't ask for a heat level when we ordered, either. The flavors were good, but just felt a little flat and underdeveloped. With ~25% more seasoning I think it could be quite good. I haven't written it off completely yet, but there are several very good Indian places in the city so it wouldn't necessarily be my first pick."

"Do you have a cousin in the family who is unknown to most of your relatives? You will relate to this Mithaas location in Piscataway compared to its grand cousins in the Edison and North Brunswick locations. I?m surprised with the mixed and mostly bad reviews. This is the closest to our home and can make quick runs to it when we have unplanned guests coming home. We've had only sweets (desserts) and some chaat items taken home from here and looking forward to dine for a lunch or dinner meal soon. They have a clean restaurant with a huge parking and the staff are very receptive to your questions and requests. The taste without even having to mention, is outstanding. If you are new to Mithaas and have no clue on what to try for the first time? Try the Kesar Badam Milk drink and you wouldn't stop with just one!"

"My husband ordered the mild ginger chicken Biryani, but it turned out to be very spicy! It was so hot that we ran out of water at the table and struggled to cool it down. It would have been helpful if the server had warned us about the spice level. I opted for the mild chicken, which was good, albeit lacking in spices, but still quite tasty. Since it was our first experience with Indian cuisine, we didn’t know what to expect. While we are open to trying Indian food again in the future, we won’t be returning to this particular restaurant. The service we received was disappointing and left much to be desired. "had the opportunity to eat yesterday in this chic Indian restaurant. the stands are spacious and give a cozy feeling when eating with a group. the decoration is subtle and yet noticeable. the wine, the selection of spirits is wide and everyone has found its favorites. the cocktail menu was very innovatiw and we enjoyed several slumdog millionaires. we had the chickens, the murgh malai tikka and some sew puri. Just as we thought that the dings can not get better, the baingan bharta, chicken ghee roasted and the dal makhani excellent! the kheer and the kulfi brought memories of the child. "I thought the restaurant was nice, clean and a great place to bring family and friends. My fiancee is from India so it was important for me to find a place where she could get the type of food she desired and missed from back home. She did the ordering as she could read what it said and knew what the offerings were as I did not. There was one main dish that she requested and it came out, not to her liking. She brought it to the waiters attention and he just shrugged and said, thats how they make it and offered nothing to replace it or a redo or even subtract it from the bill. That situation could have been handled differently and I am disappointed that she just left the dish there, and trust me, she is one that never throws anything out, so it must have been bad, Other than that, the evening was nice, we enjoy our time together and the restaurant on the whole was worth the drive."

"Food is good. Recommend Chole Bhature, Gobi Manchurian, Dal Tadka, Chai, Samosa, Roti, Garlic Naan, Dosa, Idli Sambhar and Vada Sambhar. Being an Indian we are used to having Onion and lemon with any curry because any restaurant in India will typically serve onion and lemon with any curry. When we asked for it we were served it without any cost. Ambience is ok, but because the food and the service is good and cost is reasonable, I could ignore the ambience.Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes are vegetarian"
