"Restaurant did not live up to expectations, rushed operations, extreme music noise level, waited 5 min for desk check in, 45 min for food, then texted to ensure our departure within 15 min of food service, as table booked, etc! Poor, uncoordinated staffing, table service lacking, with overall obvious restaurant management issues! Unfortunate anniversary choice, as we have experienced Nobu Budapest, have numerous Nobu cookbooks and appreciate a fine restaurant!"

"I thing the best of Nobu is the quality of fish they serve! It actually melted in your mouth, so delicious, your actually paying for the quality and service! Great atmosphere.. I been in Nobu Las Vegas and Malibu, and this one is very casual compared to the others. We order the sampler’s menu I thing they call it like that for $125 each person and you get a lot of food. We couldn’t finish the whole thing. I also couldn’t take picture of everything but is worth it for the price, plus you try a lots of thing from the menu.. each plate is average 20$ $40 with this option you get like 6 plates plus dessert."

"I have ordered delivery twice from this place. Both times the food came well packed and without any spills. I also wasn't missing any items. The first time i ordered a shrimp egg roll, wonton egg drop soup, three regular roll special, general tso's chicken combo dinner and orange chicken combo dinner. The shrimp egg roll is absolutely delicious. I would order that over and over again. The wonton egg drop soup is not that great. I wouldn't order it again. The wonton's themselves are really thick. For the rolls i ordered the crunchy spicy kani roll, the spicy crunch shrimp and the shrimp tempura roll. All three were absolutely delicious and filling. Both the general tso's and orange chicken had great flavor but by the time it arrived, it wasn't crispy anymore. I tried to recrisp it in the toaster oven and that didn't work. The second time i ordered fried dumplings, the grasshopper roll, kai roll, shrimp tempura roll, sweetheart roll and stir fried udon with beef. The fried dumplings tasted exactly like the wonton's i had in my soup during my first order. The dumpling skin was too thick and the beef looked and tasted the exact same way as the wontons. I wasn't crazy about them. The grasshopper roll i would order every single time, it was lobster salad, crab meat, shrimp, mango, avocado, asparagus, lettuce wrap, rice paper with avocado and caviar in yuzu wasabi sauce. The lettuce did get a little wilted during transit but it didnt impact the flavor at all. Very delish. The kai roll has spicy tuna, avocado and shrimp tempura inside a green soy paper. The outside has lobster salad and caviar. Another roll that i would order again. Very Very good. My husband ordered the sweet heart roll which was really pretty. Inside it has crab meat, cucumber, avocado, spicy tuna and crunchh wrapped in a pink rice paper topped with raw fresh tuna. I tried it and the tuna was very fresh. This roll is absolutely delicious but should only be ordered if your into raw fish. You can definitely taste it. Lastly, the beef udon. The sauce was very light BUT the flavor was there 100 percent. So delicous, so filling, so flavorful. I think we will certainly be ordering this specific dish again soon. It was that good. Overall we were so much happier with our second order from here. I think going forward we will continue to try different rolls and dishes from the stir fry section. I will absolutely continue to order from this place. i highly recommend it."

"Ebisu is a great sushi restuarant that needs to find itself. The menu is over the top huge (which usually scares me)but the sushi/sashimi selection was excellent. The service was slow to start but once our waitress was engaged, she was right on. The atmosphere was quite and clean. We tried a variety of sashimi and nigiri, all of which was fresh and delicious. Our favorites were the o toro, salmon belly, hamachi belly, and monk fish liver a rare find!. If you're a sushi/sashimi purist, then you'll appreciate this place."

"A real gem in the neighborhood I wouldn't expect to find a decent sushi place. But, sushi here us amazing!!! The fish is very fresh and everything I've had here was absolutelly amazing. My favorite lunch place, gets crowded at night as locals know about it. Nit a fancy place and prices are in the mid-range, lunch runs at about $25-30 if you order sushi rolls. But they also have lunch combos for less. Give this place a try!!"

"We drove two hours for my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We had hoped to sit outdoors and watch the freighters go by. The outdoor patio was closed and that was sad since it was such a lovely day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our server, Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best thing about our dining experience. We won't be going back since the food was just fair and a disappointment. There were several choices but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were chewy, the eggs Benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made with canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband did like the waffles, roast beef, ham and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't that great but we wanted to dine outdoors so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"Ordered delivery through uber eats the prep and delivery was pretty quick and they had great ratings on uber eats. However, slightly regret not checking yelp first. Got the spicy chicken bento box. Seemed like a good deal but the chicken was 90% fat and an unsavory texture. The flavor of the sauce was great but sadly it was just downhill from there. The rice was a bit stale. The California roll was again okay nothing major but then again it's a California roll. Probably won't order from here again unfortunately."

"Sakura sushi has large rolls that are quick to the table and tasty. You may want to order 2 rolls on your first round (3 is not recommended on the first round) to make sure you are good to go for more. The standard all you can eat option is a good price and includes all rolls and appetizers. I was surprised to find that the premium is the same but only includes an additional small group of nigiri, like salmon, tamago, etc. IMO, I think the premium isn't worth the added cost when the rolls are already very large and tasty. Very important to note is that if anyone at the table orders from the short premium list, then everyone at the table also gets charged as a premium seat. Just as important to note, they will charge for any uneaten rolls, including any rice that wasn't eaten. So take care to order a little at a time if you think you may need to. I know it is a lot of rules and strategy to dine in for sushi, but the quality of the sushi for the price is pretty good. My favorite roll here was the rainbow roll. Give it a try.Kid-friendliness: Discount rates for 9 and under for all you can eat sushi"

"My friends and I wanted to hold a dinner for one of my friends coming home from a camp. We wanted a place that was close to home and affordable so we chose here. We ordered multiple regular rolls (at suprisingly great prices), a few special rolls, duck, and a few katsu don sets. I have not found a better price for the quality of rolls that Bamboo Ya offers, definitely a go to spot for regular rolls. The special rolls had a very interesting appearance. The pork katsu and duck was very dry, and I would definitely not order them ."

"I came a for weekend lunch with my wife and daughter. We ordered a variety of signature sushi rolls and shared everything. The sushi was delicious! We loved everything we ordered. The service was a little sporadic and disjointed. There was no dedicated server and the staff didn't communicate well. We ordered hot tea and they brought us all ice water. We waited to see if they were going to bring tea as well but they never did, so we asked for it and then they brought it. The water had a little bit of an unpleasant taste. I think the ice gave the water a little funk. Ice machines are usually filthy and full of mold and mildew, so I like to avoid it whenever possible. Another critique was that the food took a long time to arrive. We waited 30 minutes for our sushi. The restaurant wasn't empty, but it wasn't super busy. Maybe they prioritize deliveries? I don't know what it was, but 30 minutes for sushi rolls at lunch time regardless of weekday or weekend is just too long. We were hoping to be in and out in an hour and it took an hour and twenty minutes from the time we walked in until the time we walked out the door, so be sure to pay for the full two hours on the parking meter. 4 Stars for delicious food alone. I'd like to give 3.5 stars because of the service being below average."

"My wife and I have been dining at Sushi Sasa for the last 5 -6 years and unfortunately our experience last night was not the best. The food was satisfactory, but we have never felt so rushed by the service team the way we did last night. We were there for maybe an hour and the servers kept bugging us and wanting to clear our table so we could leave. Our reservation was at 7:30 so it wasn't too late. It was awkward and the commute ended up being longer than our meal. We love dining here but for whatever reason, last night's experience was not pleasant for my wife and I."

"I ordered takeout on Postmates. The beef in oyster sauce was basically beef in oyster sauce soup. The chow mein proteins were overcooked and there was no flavor. Im going to guess they were cooked separately and added to the dish toward the end which is why no flavor set in. No color to the noodles. The dishes were entirely prepared improperly. I am 40, I have never sent a complaint to a restaurant but these dishes were terrible. Couldn’t even stomach the chow mein. The buffalo wings were decent but not even an option for ranch much less the traditional blue cheese dressing for dipping. What I received does not look like what is being posted by these positive reviewers. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’m a well traveled certified cook, although I don’t cook for a living anymore, and have been in restaurants for much of my young life. It’s better to have 5 things on a menu you do really well than a huge menu where you cut corners and utilize a large amount of pre-prepared ingredients that aren’t allowed to fully cook as intended to create a cohesive single dish. Minimize the menu and retrain on popular dishes. I’m not sure why the reviews are so mixed but it seems they’re really weak on their takeout. It also seems they have been open a long time and maybe inflating food prices are making it hard with such a large menu but I can’t believe people that care about keeping their business at all would let such poorly prepared food leave the store. It’s astounding they’re still in business. Or maybe just have one good cook and I got the bad one? I dunno. The photo is the “chow mein with soft noodles” that I couldn’t eat. I thought of trying to repurpose the ingredients and make it taste better but the smell when I opened it today (ordered last night) was less than appetite inducing and I will be trashing it. Go ahead and google “chow mein with soft noodles” and let me know if you would consider what I received as the same dish."

"The food at this restaurant should be made with top-quality ingredients for the price, but their wagyu steak was lacking in marbling and seemed to be fake American or Australian wagyu. The claim that it was a8-a9 grade was clearly false, which was disappointing. The sushi rolls were made with high-quality fish, but tasted as if they were prepared by a mediocre chef with an unlimited budget. It seems like this place caters to expensive food for those who aren't knowledgeable about Japanese or Peruvian cuisine. Additionally, there was a 20% gratuity added to the bill without being informed beforehand, which was frustrating. Overall, the experience was mediocre for the high price of $650. I could have had a better meal at a lower-priced sushi spot. The ambiance was the only positive aspect of the dining experience."

"The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!"

"When I and my guests walked in, I immediately noticed people looking at us and what made it more uncomfortable their eyes followed us all the way to our seats. I looked back at them finally after I sat down and they stopped. Then the waitress came by and I tried being a little humorous, but she wasn't going with it. I then decided to just be normal with the waiters because I inferred that they were just being professional. The waiters took a while to refill our cups. Our initial waitress argued with me that there was no Rootbeer soda when I had just gotten a refill from another waiter. She even had the nerve to tell me that I didn't know what I was drinking. My initial drink was sweet tea, but she said they only served unsweet. I then decided to mix the unsweet with the sweet soda. I told her to serve a bit of tea and add the rest sprite soda. The cup came back very dark and tasted like unsweet tea. It should have been a very light brown if she had done it right. Then I'm told there was military discount and I ask if it was per person or per ticket or if there was another method. I was told no, which was okay. After a while, I am told there is no military discount at all. This is San Antonio Tx and I strongly believe there should be military discounts all over this great military city. I then tasted the food and if not for the extra sauce that was brought to me; I wouldn't have eaten it. The sushi at Chopstix, for me, tasted better than the ones I ordered there. I then got the bill and noticed an added 18% gratuity charge. It was just 4 of us there. The service was bad and the food wasn't very good. I will never return there. So disappointed with this place. UPDATE: AUG. 7 2021 The manager spoke with me and paid me back the wrongful gratuity charge. She told me we could actually let the waiters knows how to cook the items on the menu to better suit our wants. She apologized for the treatment we were given. I changed from 1 star to 3 stars. I am hoping that military discount becomes a reality there and that we get treated better next time we go. This place has a lot of potential and I hope to give it a whopping 5 stars soon."

"However, I've noticed a couple of issues that detract from my overall experience at Trappers. First, the service tends to be extremely lacking when dining alone—it's almost non-existent at regular tables, as I had my table cleared when I stepped away for a moment! If you sit at the bar, service improves significantly. Another concern is the management's approach to staff expectations. The restaurant occasionally hosts fundraising events where waitstaff ask if you'd like to contribute. However, I've seen that if a customer declines, the staff faces scrutiny and potential repercussions for not meeting the sales targets set by management for each shift. That seems pretty harsh. Overall, I still recommend stopping by. They have rotating "Drinks of the Month" and "Rolls of the Month," which adds a fun twist to the experience. Just make sure to sit at the bar, avoid the regular tables, and be adventurous with your order!"

"Literally the best sushi delivery I've ever had. I'll even go as far as to say it's better than Blue Ribbon. Don't think twice. Order now. It's all so fresh; the sushi rice is deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. The miso soup has an element of umami I haven't even enjoyed from Nobu not to mention the soy cubes in the soup are simply gastronomic. Can you tell I was pleased? I could go on, but I'll spare you. Anymore time reading this is more time delayed between you and a delicious meal which in this case, would be a serious error."

"i have no words! i tried this restaurant when i first came to ft. worth, texas, and i’ve probably had it every week! the food is so amazing, and very reasonably priced. i was so glad to find a place that has such a wide variety of genuine Japanese cuisine. my boyfriend is allergic to shellfish, and the fact he can eat here too because they have so many options for him is great. i love this restaurant so much— if you’re ordering on uber eats, let them know it’s your first time, and you might get a cute little cartoon on your signature takara sushi roll! i’m literally just about to order. •• •ᴗ•"

"We love the Oto Sushi in Redmond and we? ve was quite often there. This time we were in the area and decide to eat here, think it would have a similar quality. But it was disappointing. The chicken caraage was dry, the dough tasted like dust. The ikura nigiri was quite fresh, but somehow blanden. The spicy tuna reel was only Blande, no taste compared to what we have at the Redmond branch; the sushi rice was dry, not sticking together. It's really not a good sign that we left food and didn't want to box it."
