"The service was lacking as well. Although our waiter was friendly, he seemed unfamiliar with the menu. We had to ask for basic items like salt, napkins, and silverware multiple times before receiving them. When I inquired about certain dishes containing pork due to my dietary restrictions (I don't eat pork or raw onions due to allergies), he assured me there were none. However, my dish included both ingredients. Additionally, I ordered a sampler platter that did not come with all the items listed on the menu, and some appetizers I ordered were completely forgotten.
For my main course, I chose chicken pinchos, which are typically made with chicken breast. Unfortunately, what I received were drumsticks, and I was disappointed that this wasn't indicated on the menu. My friend's shrimp had a strange taste, as if it were past its prime, and the texture was rubbery.
While the food had some flavorful moments, the service was subpar, and there were just too many small issues that marred my visit. It felt like the food was prepared by someone unfamiliar with authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The waiter was courteous, and the decor was appealing, but would I come back? Definitely not."
