"I'm not sure if there are new chefs each time, and the consistency of the flavors varies for each of my visits. Sometimes, the flavor is more muted. Other times, it is very robust. I enjoy the mofongo de cerdo y de camarones. It is the best mofongo in the area. The sauce they make and flavors that come through the dishes are delicious. And I've tried the mofongos up and down East Tremont Avenue and still prefer it from Corazon Latino (Escape Latino). I had the aguacate relleno, and I hoped it was better. It was underwhelming in the criolla flavor department for me.I will say, like most Latin restaurants in the area, the music is louder than the conversation, and places should really consider lowering the music. That way, patrons can enjoy great food and conversations"

Food is awesome 6 months agoI am here to say again 06/22/23 every dish on the menu is delicious! Omg like it tastes insanely good. My favorite is the chicken stuffed with platano maduro in mushroom sauce !

Is nice and peaceful but the rice with pork was not good it tasted like vinegar and the rice was horrible you could literally stick it on a wall also what restaurant serves soda without a cup with ice the pork to much salt and saggy I felt like I was eating snales

Enjoyed a cozy date, ordering mezcal cocktails and comfort food appetizers. Our two waitresses were polite and very friendly. We loved the flavors in both the Smoked Margarita and the Mezcal Mule. I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and have also visited in person. I can say that the flavor is consistently amazing every time. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The service is pleasant and quick. I did have one incident where my food was not done as usual, but the manager quickly resolved the issue without hesitation. I highly recommend this place. The Mofongo de pernil and the Aguacate Relleno de camarones are the best ever. Enjoy!

New management and mostly likely chef. Two of us and no one else at the restaurant. We ordered grill pork chops and got fried pork chops and was told it was grilled. I know the difference. Was told by management Latin ppl eat fried food. Not professional at all. We had a chicken appetizer that suppose have coconut flavor. Not st all. Our whole order was messed up and flavor was not there. Just us two and all went down Do not eat there at all. Grill pork chopped was rubbery. Leftovers were put in the same container. Just awful experience.
