"Your food is good, and the quantity and quality are great for the price. However, I had a frustrating experience due to a language barrier. I ordered a family meal, which I requested to include a large container of beans and a small container of stew chicken. Instead, they informed me that it didn’t qualify as a family meal and charged me for everything separately. I was willing to pay the difference, but the way they handled it made it impossible for me. When I got home, I noticed how they sliced the chicken and combined everything. I had to ask for clarification again, and they insisted that I didn’t receive the family meal, which is why they didn’t include the chicken. This whole mix-up occurred because I requested an extra large side of beans and stew chicken. Even though I had already paid $60, I ended up having to pay an additional $20 for the chicken because the staff kept insisting that I hadn’t ordered the family meal. I didn’t intend to pay for chicken I thought would be part of my family order, so I explained that I had already paid for just the chicken. It felt like I had to place the order first, pay for it, and then order separately for any additional items I wanted."

"This restaurant is a great choice for breakfast or lunch. I ordered the number 7, which included turkey bacon, home fries, an egg, and sausage. The plate was hot and fresh, and it cost about $11, including a soda. The portion size was satisfying, but keep in mind that the restaurant is small and can become crowded, so you may have to wait at times."

"I grew up in an area where there are a variety of restaurants. I expect a certain taste and experience, whether that is fair or not. I understand most Spanish BUT can't speak a lick which has led to some interesting times in my life..lol. But back to the food. I normally order the pork chops special or steak with onions. For my sides plantains black or red beans with rice. Though I prefer the black. They also make delicious juices on the spot. There is always a good portion of food served. Porkchop special comes with 4 chops. Believe it or not they have a sit down area in the back. I can't speak to prices. To me good food costs what it costs AND this IS good. But it seems more than reasonable to me. They also have food already cooked and waiting if you do not want to wait. Friendly people and move quickly with a friendly atmosphere. Spanish speaking but there are English speakers there and definitely at the cashier spot."

"If you are looking for a quick spot while on a rush must try this one. Service: service was great to be in New York very friendly and helpful. "Another lovely dinner to cap off a wild work week. I was hosting one of our consultants again and a group of us decided to decompress after two days of hard work. I try to experience new restaurants and cuisines each time so that my guest leaves with a favorable impression of NJ and we get to put money back into black owned businesses and other business of color. This time around one of my co workers recommended this Ethiopian spot and I was delighted to learn no one in my party had ever had Ethiopian food. This place is interesting because they serve Ethiopian and Dominican food. It actually worked out nicely because two of us got the Ethiopian and the others the Dominican and we shared bites. Overall the food was pretty good. The beef empanadas were stellar and I loved the two gomen I had. Portions are...restrained which is great because I wasnt too stuffed to walk as I usually am after eating Ethiopian. My friend did not enjoy her mofongo texture was strange to her. The person who had never had Ethiopian cleaned his plate. Service was outstanding and I'd go again just for that. Tables were good. I requested the 1/2 booth 1/2 chairs for my party and it was ready to go when we walked in. They do not take American Express so be aware. Free parking was available at the far end of the strip mall. In 2 weeks after the summer starts I bet parking will be a pipe dream. Until then enjoy!"

"The only positive thing I can say about ordering from this restaurant is that they have excellent chicken tacos. I also ordered some rice, but it was too hard and dry. Additionally, the meat, particularly the pork tacos, could use more seasoning, as it was rather bland. The bartender was a bit rude and seemed unaware that I had placed an online order."

"Im complementing Cocina Mia for their excellent food service towards their menu. I noticed this mobile restaurant off of Hall Road in Orlando. My wife ordered a Pina Colada along with her order. As I tasted her Pina Colada, it hit me as I was back in Puerto Rico enjoying the flavor of a real Pina Colada that so far a few restaurants where capable of matching that flavor. When I tried and tasted my wife’s order, the flavor empanadas and the alcapurrias surpassed all the Spanish restaurants of Orlando. My hat off to this mobile restaurant! Recommend to open a restaurant and take it from there"

"This hidden gem features a delicious and authentic menu. We stopped by for lunch, and I ordered the lunch special: pulled pork, rice, plantains, and a spiced salad. The portion was generous, and both the pork and rice were seasoned to perfection—absolutely flavorful. My wife chose the Cuban sandwich, which she loved. "The venue and atmosphere were great, as well as the food all of these things were amazing. Unfortunately, service communication and couth were absolutely unacceptable. We showed up for a birthday gathering for 10 to 12 people. They gave us two small tables that seated 6 the server also crammed us in the smallest corner and unaccommodating, when asked to see if we could change, she acted she didn’t understand English, but then spoke English. Then the server started to talk about me to my other. Guest we then we’re waiting for the birthday honoree to walk in and the server decided to walk out to eat in individual one of us to take our drink order this server also left us with sticky tables that were not clean. She barely came to our table. Needless to say the communication was off backstory is I called the head two weeks prior and then again a few days prior to confirm if this is what I was met with.."

"I genuinely don't understand why they would open a restaurant in a residential area and play such loud music. It would make more sense if they were located in a commercial district. They have an outdoor area that is right next to my window, so whether it's open or closed, the noise is unavoidable. I’ve called the police several times, but it seems like they’re not taking any action. The music starts as early as 1 PM and goes on very late into the night, often keeping people up when they need to sleep around 10 or 11 PM. There were instances when I was attending online classes, and even my professor couldn't hear me due to the noise. Since the police aren’t helping, my best option seems to be not supporting this business and ordering their food online instead. I sometimes fantasize about getting a speaker and blasting music right back at them—just giving them a taste of their own medicine."

"My friend and I were on our way back home from memorial day weekend, we and needed to grab a bite for dinner. Craving some good BBQ, my friend picked out that we go to Lelos BBQ Puerto Rico Cusuine. Going inside, the place was PACKED! We ordered 1 pulled pork and 1/2 chicken combo meals. Moving on with my review, the food was VERY GOOD. For starters, the chicken was extremely tender, and had a nicely spiced grilled skin think I'd order this over the pork tbh). The pork, came more in chunks than shredded, but it was also very tasty. What made both of these great was the garlic oil that they serve with it! As for the sides on each dish, the rice had a nice flavor to it, but was a tad mushy. However, the beans were especially creamy, plantains melted in your mouth, and yuca had just right texture. Service was slow that evening, yet again, they were super busy. Overall, I'd be down to visit this spot again as the food was tasty overall, solid 4/5!"

"Coming from NYC I was wondering if I would be able to find any Puerto Rican establishments that would measure up to the food from back home. With a little digging I found this little gem tuck away in St.Paul, Tx. "It was my first time at this location, and I went there because I purchased tickets to see the wonderful, funny man, Lavell Crawford. I was really surprised with the expended food menu available at the space since it was a comedy show. Arrived at the front entrance of the location and was informed that they were not going to let anyone in until 9:15 pm. The show was to start at 9:30 pm. He recommended I go to the next door BBQs spot since it was cold outside. I would've not ordered food at the BBQ spot if I knew. I can't really judge the food of this eatery, lounge, and comedy hosting spot. I only ordered an appetizer and drinks. For it being a Tuesday night out, Salsa con fuego was providing a space for individuals working the weekend shift and just want to have fun, too. On a weekday! Will definitely be there again. Now I know."
