"As a Korean BBQ enthusiast, I was excited to try out this spot with high hopes. Unfortunately, the experience at this restaurant turned out to be far from satisfying. The staff's attitude and service were utterly disappointing, leaving a sour taste in my mouth. We arrived at the restaurant with ample time to enjoy our meal before the 10 PM closing time. To our surprise, we were rushed throughout the dinner, and at 9:15 PM, the server asked us to pay, even though we were still in the middle of our meal. This made us feel unwelcome and as if we were an inconvenience to the staff. The servers were not only rude but also inattentive. They ignored us multiple times when we tried to ask questions or request service. It was quite a challenge to get their attention, and when we finally did, they seemed annoyed and dismissive. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was tense and uncomfortable, which is the complete opposite of what a fun and engaging KBBQ experience should be. It's disheartening to see a restaurant with such potential be overshadowed by the staff's unprofessional behavior.I regretfully cannot recommend this establishment to others seeking a pleasant KBBQ experience. There are many other options with better service and a more welcoming atmosphere. I hope the management takes this feedback to heart and makes the necessary improvements. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere."

"My mum and I came here for dinner with our Korean tour group. The tour agency, USA Tours, has a relationship with this restaurant and often brings its clients here. It is located on the second floor of the Waikiki Resort Hotel, which apparently is owned by Korean Airlines. Our tour guide had called them before our arrival so we were immediately seated at two 4-top tables (we were a group of 8 for dinner . Stew was already cooking on the burners on the table and servers soon brought out rice bowls and four side dishes. We had a vinegar cucumber/seaweed side dish, sliced radish, kimchi, and beansprouts. I get that a lot of older Korean people may not like to try new foods or just want to eat a nice Korean dinner after eating Western food all day, but I felt like this was a waste of a meal that could have been spent eating local Hawaiian fare. And if you are not Korean, there is definitely no reason to come here because the food isn 't even good. While I am biased against most Korean restaurants because my mum is such a good cook, Korean restaurants in LA are far better than this. (Granted, that shouldn 't count since LA also has the highest population of Koreans in a city after Seoul. I found the stew to be just mediocre and thought the same of the side dishes. Not much to say about the rice. I really just ate because (1 it 's free (included in our tour cost and (2 I was hungry and I had no other options. The service was just okay. Our servers were fast in the beginning to bring out everything, but then we never saw them again except for when someone at our table would yell for service (where are the table button thingies I 'm so used to seeing at Korean places?! . I can 't comment on the cost since our tour guide took care of it, but I don 't think whatever the price was would be worth it for such mediocre Korean food. This review isn 't completely fair since I didn 't even get to see a menu and they might have better food offerings, but I guess we 'll never know..."

"My friend and I came on a Saturday at 5pm because we were craving some Korean food. I 've ordered takeout from them before but have never eaten at the restaurant. When we got here, the location has a large parking lot so it was easy to get a parking spot. The space was small with very limited seating. We got lucky coming in before the dinner rush! I ordered a spicy beef soup with noodles and my friend ordered the dolsot bibimbap. After ordering, they brought out the banchan for us. I didn 't like that they brought out the rice for us before our food came, but maybe some people like to eat the banchan with rice? I prefer to eat it with the food I ordered. I wish they at least had a lid to cover the rice so it didn 't get cold if they were going to bring it out right away. What 's nice was that food came out quick! I was pretty surprised with how quickly the food came out. It probably came out within 10-15 minutes of us ordering. Food was good and average compared to other Korean restaurants I 've been to (which is a good thing! . All the tables were filled midway through our dinner! And there was usually one party waiting outside for a seat. But with their food coming out so quickly, there never seemed to be more than one or two parties waiting outside when I went there. My husband was craving Korean the next day so we can here again. We ordered the spicy tofu soup with beef, galbi, and spicy rice cakes. I wasn 't too big of a fan of the spicy rice cakes and I wish there was more to it than just the rice cakes and fish cakes. The spicy sauce was a bit off to me but I can 't point my fingers as to why. Otherwise, the tofu soup and the galbi were good!Service is hit or miss. Since there 's only two people working the front, it can take awhile to get their attention. They seemed to be stressed when there 's a lot of people so may come off as a little rude sometimes. I flagged her down when we were ready to order, which was relatively quickly after we sat down since we usually order the same things at a Korean restaurant. But when she came over, she told me she 's going to take the orders of the table next to me first because they sat down first, which I didn 't like. They didn 't ask for a server to come and seemed to still be looking at the menu but I was actually ready to order! The party next to me sat down 3 mins before we did. The waitress also forgot our water when we asked for it after ordering so we had to flag someone down again. They never came around to check if we needed a refill on water for both days I went so I had to get their attention each time we needed water again. Another instance, I raised my hand to ask for the bill and when she saw my hand, she said ok ok ok ok ok in an annoyed tone and motioned for me to put my hand down. Jeez, just wanted to make sure you saw me so I can pay! So, due to service at times, I had to knock down a star. I understand that it can be stressful when it 's rush hour time but restaurants should always be mindful of their attitude and customer service.Lastly, important to note: they charge for to go containers! I was surprised to see it on my bill!"
