"Despite the noise, we had a wonderful experience. Our server was attentive and prompt. The food was excellent; we ordered tenderloins that were incredibly meaty and served hot. Others at our table had wings, which were also exactly as requested and piping hot. We celebrated a birthday and were treated to a large, warm chocolate chip cookie topped with a generous scoop of ice cream. Even though it’s quite a drive for us, we would definitely like to return."

"Where do I start?! Greeted at the door! Our table and high chair all ready. Our server was friendly and very nice. Suggested an area to put our birthday cake and supplies until needed. She immediately took beverage order. She took our app order and made note that we expected 2 more guests. She was there to take their order immediately. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their orders! "I just spent $27 on a two-egg breakfast special with biscuits and gravy, and I'm really disappointed. This was only my second time ordering from this place in all the years I've lived nearby, and I regret it. I won’t be coming back—unless they get new cooks or management, but even then, I'm not sure. People want to enjoy their meals, and unfortunately, the food was bland and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money there until they prove they can do better."

"Okay, so my first visit 4 months ago the bar was dirty and I didn't like the food. That was my opinion. BUT, today (7/14) was on a different level. My daughters brought me back for lunch before we went bowling. Everything was great, food, service, everything. It was when we went to pay the bill that we had an issue. The prices on the menu did not match the bill. We asked to have it corrected and one waitress said she was sorry and would fix it right away. Then she came back with another waitress who informed us that there was a price increase and they had yet to change the prices on the menu. She apologized and informed us that is the way it is. I enquired about what was just and fair and even asked how they would view the situation if they were in our shoes. We got shoulder shrugs and the statement of IDK. So, I then asked what the laws were here in WI regarding prices and what rights we have as consumers to be protected against this sort of practice. We were then informed that they had already spoken to the manager and the decision was that the price is the price and they hoped that we were okay with it. Well, we are not okay with that practice. My daughter sorted it out like this, we basically had to pay a fee just to come eat there... I explained to my kids that it wasn't about the money as we would've given it in the tip. But the bottom line is, that up until today this operation has basically hijacked its customers . Today we showed them that for consumers that pay attention they now are hijacking their employees too. Tomorrow my daughters will get another lesson about the importance of the WI Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. It is all about the principle..."

"I have always received good service at this restaurant, but this time I was disappointed to find that I was missing an egg in my order and they had substituted sourdough bread for rye. No one checked in to see if everything was okay with my breakfast. I have also found that the poached eggs here are consistently overcooked and flat. The menu has been scaled back due to the pandemic, and some of my favorite items are no longer available. I'll chalk it up to the current circumstances and give the restaurant another chance before looking elsewhere for a better dining experience."

"I had a very disappointing experience at Spanky And Louches. I ordered a turkey salad for the first time and was surprised to find only two small slices of turkey, even though I asked for extra. A few weeks later, I gave them another shot, but it was the same—this time they added tomatoes even though I requested none, and the turkey portion was still minimal. I tried a third time reluctantly, and once again, my salad had no croutons and only three tiny slices of turkey. They charge nearly $15 for this! My mother ordered a shrimp salad and got just three small shrimp, which definitely wasn’t worth the price. I don’t usually complain, but this was really frustrating, and I won’t be ordering from here again. It’s disappointing since I live nearby and often get takeout because I don’t have time to cook. I strongly suggest trying Olympia across the street instead—they have much better portions and don’t skimp on the turkey!"

"The service was satisfactory and the food was alright, but we visited about 2 hours after the restaurant opened and the restroom was extremely dirty. It really turned me off and made me question the overall cleanliness of the place. My wife commented on the mildew smell and stained walls. It was a small establishment with only one bathroom, so keeping it clean shouldn't have been a difficult task. When you own a restaurant, cleanliness should be a top priority. I decided against taking a picture of the toilet to spare myself and my wife from that sight. The windowsills had dead flies and other insects as well. I will definitely not be returning here."

"Service does have its issues as some people stated in reviews below. Service isn't the best and not all the same each time . Short staffed, takes long time to take down our order or come back to refill drinks . But I can say once our breakfast arrives , it's delicious and tasty and you forget all about anything else. Food is consistent each time as I usually get breakfast items as it should be when ordering from Denny's as it's known for. Lumberjack Slam is the best and sampler platter with cheese sticks and onion rings are delicious and best I've tasted against other places . I also noticed past few times. 1 side is always packed , and the other side is closed and empty, for employees to eat ? I'm not sure but would help if they open up both sides since they keep 1 side full of people with no masks, that I usually opt to take my food to go, Still , to go is pretty quick and maybe other empty side can be a waiting area then for a table to free up on other side?"

"My 1st time going to this one, better than the other 5th tavern, if I could give this place 7 stars I would. My 2nd time there I had to send my food back it was really bad but they gave me something else and I was happy. Sometimes we have to remember when places are busy like crazy on the weekends we have to have patience. "If no stars was an option I’d put 0. We got some classic coney dogs later in the night since most kitchens were closing. Our hot dogs were shard and rubbery. I’m not sure why we even decided this would be decent because it was extremely dirty, unkept, and 90 percent of the chairs and tables were broken in some way. Then a local who appeared to be on drugs or had a condition started throwing their wallet down on our table, rambling on and got offended when we said we were heading out. Extremely uncomfortable situation to be in and the food was awful to boot. Just don’t go here."

"Many vegan dedicated options on menu, see pictures. Others can be made vegan. What I like most about these places is the tolerance of others and the joy orioles get making others happy. My server was great and willing to give me extra information answering my many questions. My companion an omnivore had HUEVOS MOTULEÑOS while I had Vegan Buffalo Drummies and VEGAN CITRUS SHORT RIB BAHN MI. The dummies were enough for me and I to the Bahn Mi home. Both were very good. "star rating zero. clean them out and clean them inside. clean of a view, but lacking in detail cleaning, windows needed a good clean, edges of floors on walls not been done in some time, perhaps due to time constraints and a left over Covid-19 problems with fewer team members, so I don't keep that against the business, but it still has to be briefly not only dealt on the line. the meals were not worth their money. badly prepared and badly cooked. I've never been in one, so I compared it with a mac donald and it doesn't compare. the service was bad and slow to say the least. "Marco’s is our favorite spot to stop with our dog for a delicious meal at any time of day. The Huevos Rancheros are fantastic, but the real highlight is the dinner specials. While the specials are a bit pricier than the usual entrees—expect to spend at least $20 per person—they are absolutely worth it. Today, we enjoyed the cattle short ribs along with fish and chips, and surprisingly, the fish outshone many we’ve had in other regions this season. "Food probly got down graded due to the horrible experience. On a business trip, seen this place needed reservations, to help staff and to come in knowing what I want due to late night and hungry. The table was super sticky. I didn't notice this right away due to knowing what I want in advance, place my order and see that my table feels like ots bathed in soda. Tried 3 times to get someone's attention to clean it. But everyone is always racing by. Even my waitress would drop food of in mid stride and gone. To top it all off, I found a bug crawling across my table. By the time I had enough I just paid and left. I wanted to just flip out on the lack of customer attention, poor house keeping, and bugs!"

"I recently called in to pick up my order from this restaurant, and the brief interaction I had with the employee was pleasant. She was nice and accommodating. However, what I really want to discuss is the food. After a few bites, my stomach was churning. My husband and I paid over $60 for a meal that we couldn't finish because the food was terrible. The gyro sandwich had paper-thin slices of meat that resembled deli sandwich meat (and not the good kind). The wrap had maybe four pieces of steak, with most of it being tortilla and a few veggies. The Philly cheesesteak was extremely dry, even with the sauce they provided. Overall, the food was disappointing and not worth the price. While the food used to be good, it seems like the restaurant now offers too many varieties of cuisine and struggles to make them taste good. I suggest taking a page from Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares and simplifying the menu, focusing on executing dishes well."
