"We were seated immediately, which was great. The food was good (except that my expensive filet mignon was overcooked…I ordered medium rare…it was medium well at best…not the tender deliciousness you expect when you order medium rare filet). Clearly, the staff had been instructed to get us in and out asap (New Year’s Eve). I get that you want to make money, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of your customer’s experience. That reduces your return business, and how does that help you? I’ll never return or recommend this restaurant. It was literally comical the way we were blatantly and rudely rushed through dinner. There wasn’t the usual “show” that you expect from a hibachi dinner. Two seconds of a weak onion volcano was about it. I’m not a child who requires entertainment, but it’s all part of the experience we paid over $100 for on NYE. The time from placing our order to the not-so-subtle “please leave” vibe was less than 20 minutes. Within TWO MINUTES of the chef rolling his cart away, we had a girl asking if we needed To-Go boxes. I just looked at her confused thinking “well, I’d like an opportunity to eat SOME of it first if you don’t mind”. The rest of the very short evening was more of that. Not a great experience. Very disappointing."
