"Let's talk about Nelly's, a hidden gem in Long Branch that is bursting with flavor. The menu offers a variety of delicious greasy dishes. We ordered a stuffed Chicago pizza, mozzarella fries, and a white slice. The fries and white slice were fantastic, while the Chicago pie, though not what we expected, was still delicious. It had a unique Chicago-style twist that reminded me of a reverse margherita pizza. The sauce was sweet and the cheese tasted fresh. Overall, Nelly's was a fantastic dining experience, although I do wish they offered Chicago deep dish pizza on their menu."

"I had a craving for Indian food and decided to order the chicken jalfrezi. It turned out to be quite delicious. I placed my order through GrubHub, and the food arrived hot and securely packaged, with saran wrap and a stapled bag. The chicken was tender, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked with a nice crunch. The flavor was good, but I opted for mild and realized I should have chosen medium, as it lacked the spice I enjoy. The portion size was generous—I couldn't finish it in one sitting. The price was also reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants, and it definitely hit the spot for my Indian food craving. "They weren’t supposed to close until the end of the month (as all the tv reports say). But, when I came to try their pizza for the 1st and only time, I find that their phone line kept giving me the busy signal and when I got there there’s a sign they permanently closed due to “no staff” (prematurely). You could’ve put a recoding on your voicemail saying so instead of making people drive all the way here to find out. So goodbye and good riddance #ByeFelicia."

"I received a menu in the mail and decided to give the restaurant a try. I assumed the food wouldn't be anything extraordinary, as places that offer a wide variety of dishes often don't impress. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the pizza turned out to be. "This restaurant has become just another average sports bar. It used to be fantastic, but the shift to a sports bar concept has really hurt its appeal. Being at the shore, we expect a laid-back beach atmosphere, not a vibe like Philadelphia. The food has declined significantly and is nowhere near what it used to be. The drinks are decent, but on Wednesdays, the trivia host is loud and interrupts conversations, which really kills the mood. This place had so much potential with a great location and structure, but instead of leveraging that, it's turned into just another sports bar. Tourists can easily find better options just a few blocks away that offer superior food."

"I am writing this review as an Uber driver. Haven?t tasted the food and never will after my experience. I went in and gave the names for the orders I was there to pick up, the man at the register handed me 2 bags and I left. I should have confirmed but Ididn?t and normally the restaurant?s get it right. When I delivered the 2nd order the customer knew it was wrong. I offered togo back to the restaurant even though I don?t have to and as I stated that Uber called asking me to return to the store. Fine.When I walked in to swap bags the owner accused me of taking the wrong bags! As if I walked in grabbed bags and left. I told himthe guy behind the counter handed me the bags, then he asked who like I know the workers and no one was up front now. I saidwhoever is at the register. He ran to the back and when he came back told me I should have confirmed. Whatever. Then I said Ican?t believe you accused me of taking bags off your counter! Don?t you have cameras in this place. Check them before you accusepeople. He looked embarrassed but would not apologize. Then had the nerve to call the customer who was waiting for me to returnwith his food and blamed me. Smh. Don?t support his business. I felt racially profiled. Lost my tip after making two trips fortheir mistake. That?s gas and mileage."

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The taco shells were incredibly stale, as if they had been left out for a week before being served. I returned my order and received a refund, as the food was completely inedible. Despite having "Most Popular Taco Joint" award ribbons displayed on the wall, this place fell far short of expectations. In a town where mediocrity seems to be the norm, this restaurant failed to impress. The service was lacking, the atmosphere was subpar, and the overall experience was disappointing. "My husband and I are new to the area, and we are eating our way through pa! This place was delicious! I got chicken Tikka masala, my man got goat curry, we got garlic butter Naan and cheese paneer. I know I'm probably butchering the real names... The Tikka masala I got was unique and had such an amazing flavor! I'm used to it being red, but this one was yellow. The flavor, wow! And the owner was super nice, the food came out hot, great portions and such a good price! The most unique thing is they have Tikka masala pizza! I can't wait to try that next time! When we first walked in, it looked like a to-go only, and then the owner asked if we wanted to dine in. We definitely did. It was a really nice area, plenty of seating, had some really cool Indian music videos going, nice seating and clean bathrooms. If you're in the area and craving some amazing food, stop by! We live an hour away and we will drive that distance again, it was that good!"

"This restaurant has some of the best fresh salsa and guacamole! The nachos are very filling, but it's best to go with a group of three or more. The drinks are delicious and the staff is accommodating to customer requests. I tried a guava premium drink with a spicy twist, and it really surprised me. The enchiladas were also fantastic, especially with their in-house spicy sauce. It's flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy. If you enjoy a little kick, this place is perfect for you. I highly recommend this restaurant for a dinner date."

"Describing the atmosphere is difficult, I 'm reminded of the T.V. reality show hoarders , just a bit too much stuff, yet it 's interesting. I 've never eaten a meal here but come for ice cream several; times a year. The ice creams are wonderful, and you 'd pay more if you got the same amount anywhere else but the quality wouldn 't be the same. Waitress are efficient and don 't try to turn the tables. Warning; if you can finish the death by chocolate you will probably kick off, LOL, great place, great fun, take the kids."

"I would give zero stars if I could. I did take out and they forgot to give me my entire entree (I ordered two). When I got home, I realized it and called them but it was after close so I had to call several times for someone to pick up. They refused to refund me, so I settled with them saying they would give me a credit that I could use whenever I wanted. I just called to try and use it and they told me no because it had been too long (6 months), despite the manager at the time telling me that it would never expire."

"I had a bad experience from start to finish at the Old Mohawk. To start, we waited a reasonable 5ish minutes to be sat. Not horrible, not ideal. Total non issue if this was a lone occurence. We get sat, order drinks, and put in an order for an appetizer. We sat on the patio and dealt with a horrible methane smell the entire time. Totally gross. Before I go any further I should comment that the menu is a bit all over the place. Cajun pasta, cheeseburgers, crab tater tots, bratwurst. Not bad, just strange. On the other side the food is very affordable given the area. So we’re sat for a while with our drinks and we didn’t see our server, Ali, again until we got our food. We never got our appetizer, so I asked her to take it off our bill. Not a huge issue. Mistakes happen. Another issue was that she brought out my entree before my salad, so I had already forgotten about it and started to dig in to my main course. Then 5 minutes later she rolls out with my salad. The food, was good. My bratwurst platter looked more like skirt steak which I thought was strange but it was good enough. A little tough, but good. My girlfriend’s fish and chips were also pretty good. When we got our food I asked for a beer that I didn’t end up getting. We got done eating and asked for the bill, that bill came after 20ish minutes of waiting and asking another server to check on it. Overall pretty bad experience. We were planning to order 3 drinks each, get an appetizer and hang out for a while, but our server totally dropped the ball. I just moved to GV and was really excited to try this place out, but was totally disappointed. I’m hoping this was just a bad day, but it was bad enough that I found it was worth sharing my experience."

"this place is a hidden gem! I came here with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon and young, oh young, we were not disappointed! I had the 8 oz burger of the bug a with jalapeño poppers and fries. the poppers were crispy, cheesy and pissing hot. the burger was perfectly booked and had the most fat, juicy tomato pane. our waitress was attentive and friendly but not too overlaid. eating spoke for themselves, not a person had food on her teller when we left. we will definitely come back!"
