"So I thought this was a great mom and pop burger joint, which looks like they might have revamped it not too long ago. They have neat trinkets, pictures, and quotes all around the restaurant. The only downside is that it can get pretty crammed on the inside. The seats, however, were very spacious for booths and take that from a big guy. They get slammed pretty hard during lunch, so anything before 11:30 AM and after 1:30 PM if you want to avoid a line. Now on to my food...This place has been around for 100+ years, but I don't believe they've lasted this long because of the food. I can tell this town adores this place since they have so many regulars and they are treated with royalty/respect. They are definitely winning over people with their customer service. Even with a line about to hit the door, the cashier never let up, and I got everything I ordered. I ordered a Double Patty Burger with American Cheese and Mushrooms on a Pretzel Bun. I can tell this place holds great potential. However, the young cooks in the back aren't doing this place justice. My bun was cold, and the assembly of a burger is most crucial was a letdown. Burger was lopsided and just not flavorful. The onions rings might be the best I ever had in my life. There was a crunch to every bite, and they were ginormous."
