"Harry's Savoy Grill was an ideal restaurant for an anniversary date night. Even after many years of being around, the restaurant is lovely and well maintained. The front entrance is attractive and only has a couple of steps going in, which I thought were fine for me. I didn't realize that once I got inside and had to go to the tables, I would be going down more than a handful of steps. I told my husband I was having one of my better days and weeks, so I would go ahead and navigate the steps, but he shared with me where another entrance is to the restaurant. He was aware of these from visiting for past work functions. As my other reviews hone in on accessibility and comfort for elderly, those with limitations and illnesses, I'm happy to share this information with those visiting for the first time. There's parking in the front—which is where we happened to be, but there's also parking around the side and the back of the restaurant. You'll find those parking areas close to an entrance readily accessible for all with canes, walkers, wheelchair etc. Back to the experience inside, we were there on a Friday night and seated immediately because we had our reservation. Although it was busy, the seating tables have a nice amount of space between them you can enjoy your conversation and your dinner without feeling like you're going to bump into someone else or feel as if they overhear everything. The rolls are fresh baked and delicious. The only thing I wanted was more of it, but I certainly didn't need it. I ordered the New York strip steak, added on a lobster tail, had the carrots spiced with garam masala, land a crisp, fresh Caesar salad. My husband's order of ribeye with mushrooms was cooked to perfection. Also, their wine and beer list is extensive enough to find a wonderful pairing with your dinner. Lastly, I enjoyed the creme brulee for dessert along with some coffee. Overall, we had a fantastic night, great food and atmosphere. I know I will be back when that fireplace is on during the winter! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Prime Rib Au Jus, Classic Crème Brûlée, Caesar Salad with Shaved Reggiano, Dessert, Lobster"

"I'll start by saying my daughter and I were sat at a table where there was a horrendous smell of urine. When we left, they at least had the smarts to leave Table 22 vacant.I wanted a table for 2 people. I gave my name and cell number to get a text. I was told it would be a 25 minute wait, but it was more like 5 minutes. When I was providing my information, I saw an elderly male walking out with a walker and his pants were wet around his waist. I felt sorry for him on the inside. I never thought in a million years I would be seated where he probably just sat. I'm not saying that happened, but there was a horrific smell at Table 22. I didn't notice it immediately as I had my mask on. After placing my food order and getting my drink, I took my mask off. Oh my goodness, that urine smell hit me like a ton of bricks. My server was very apologetic. One of the managers not so much. I was told other people in the restaurant told them of the smell. So why in the world would you seat someone there. I was told they saw no liquid. I don't care; it could have dried up depending on how long the guests sat at the table. I did complete a form on the incident. Since it was 7 PM and my daughter was really hungry, we sat at another table to eat our food. My meal was overcooked probably because it sat long waiting. Another manager offered a replacement but I was ready to go. They did take off about 20% from the bill. I basically gave that to the server as he was really nice. Since the food wasn't that great, I more than likely won't go back ever again. I already told a friend about my experience. She will never go."

"It was my husbands 50th Birthday and I put this on my reservation. We went with our two daughters. We were asked if we preferred a table or cozy booth. We chose the booth and the ambiance and comfort was nice. Someone came by to mention about our special occasion so I was glad they knew. Then we noticed others around us had excellent service but we had one waiter and were somehow being switched between two waiters. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. My sangria which was supposed to be citris and berries had zero berries and tasted too citrus. When I mentioned it, I was without a drink for a very long time and had to ask for the waiter. Our appetizers were served without small plates so we had to eat from the bowl until we asked. We finished our appetizers but the girls were hungry and we were waiting. Others got served bread but we didn’t until we had to ask twice. When I finally got my drink, it had one berry but I was told due to the wait, it was on them. Our other waiter came by later to ask about my drink and I told him honestly it was just okay. He did bring me another drink and then we had a long wait til our meal. Finally the food came out and it was amazing! Perhaps our experience would be good going on. We ordered dessert and I thought they would put a candle in the dessert for my husband. They did not so I figured it was too fancy of a place for that... Except as we were paying the check, the other table in front of us, the waiter brought a beautiful huge piece of cake with a candle, and the table started singing Happy Birthday! How disappointing on such a special occasion. On the check, I noticed we weren’t charged for drinks or dessert but in the end, it wasn’t the experience we wanted. It just unfortunate that we got stuck with staff that may not have been the regular wait staff at our table while others right in front of us got excellent service."

"Good afternoon last night I had a reservation book at this restaurant for 10 o'clock. I then change it to 10:15 since I was coming from Fort Lauderdale I also called ahead of time and ask the hostess if I get there before 10:30 will the kitchen still be open she stated yes come on down we will take care of you as stated online there is a 15min grace period . I got to the restaurant at 10:24. I sat at the hostess stand until 1031. A manager finally came to me and stated. Our kitchen closed at 10:30. Explain to the manager above what the hostess told me he then said I was the hostess fault for not communicating not my problem . In additional he then stated I thought that the reservation was not going to make it. I would say for future references. If you know you're going to close your kitchen early call all remaining reservations and find out if he/she is going to be coming in or not, which is the professional thing to do not blame your hostess and take ownership. At the time he stated the kitchen closes 1030 and I stated I've been here before 1030. I was standing up here waiting to be served since 10:24. this manager was definitely lying and I believe that his staff left way before 10:30 fairy bathrooms. Very bad experience. I will never eat here and no longer interested in dining there I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was terrible. I was so excited to come to this restaurant for the first time I would not be driving back here for that type of service there was no solution just a dry I am sorry, which was full of lies because your kitchen staff left before 1030 and your hostess, because I was sitting at the hostess stand since 1024 while everyone is walking around cleaning up not acknowledging my day and myself. Not even a sincere apology or solution to what happened just a dry I am sorry. I was excited to check out this restaurant but it is a bad example of hospitality. Thank you for reading this warm regards."
