"Service was excellent. The server was friendly and engaged, used dishes were promptly removed, and the timing between courses was good. I had the beef Wellington, available Friday and Saturday only, with au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach — all were well prepared and tasty. The only negative was the Caesar side salad I ordered. It was overly large, for a side salad, and the Caesar dressing was absolutely tasteless. Basically, a big bowl of iceberg lettuce with some parmesan cheese and croutons. Pricing wasn’t outrageous, but definitely high end. I will go again, but skip the salad."

"4 of us dined at Brown Dog on a Saturday evening. I had specifically asked if we could dine outdoors. There were many outdoor tables available. The host told me “possibly” when I asked about dining outside, but then we were seated indoors without any explanation. Here it was a beautiful evening be they stuck us in a dimly lit corner. Which would have been fine if it was the only table available but that didn’t appear to be the case. We weren’t too far from the kitchen and it was very loud. It sounded like trays of dishes were being dropped off every couple of minutes. The food was good, but not something we can’t wait to eat again."

"Great Restaurant with Amazing Chicago History! The Food and Beverages were absolutely wonderful. We were celebrating my parent's birthdays 83 and 88. Perfect for elderly, access and layout. Mom and I enjoyed a Pineapple Upside Down Cake Martini to start. She and my Dad both had the broasted chicken, a house specialty, and it didn't disappoint. I had the chicken pot pie, absolutely delicious, however huge, totally shareable. My husband had the filet medallions, done perfectly and so very tender."

"This place is a very unique local restaurant that people flock to constantly despite its more expensive prices. I went here with a group of coworkers, and we really loosened up and had a great time. The crabs are top notch, and the queen and king crab legs are out of sight. There's only one other crab place I'd put above it in this area (Joe's , but it's slightly less expensive here. (Large-sized crab platters are in the $30-$40 range. They give you a lot of food, and the appetizers we had were very good as well. The other seafood that some of my fellow guests had was reportedly excellent as well. Go here for an interesting and different experience. You'll definitely enjoy it."

"The food was adequate for the money. Our waitress kind of annoyed me. We had a bottle of wine on the table and every time I looked away, she was filling my glass. I found myself a bit shnockered by the end of the meal I 'd rather control my own alcohol intake. Overall I 'd give this place a meh rating, and we go out for dinner to different places frequently it usually doesn 't take all that much to make us happy."

"Ambience was on point, order was wrong instead of fixing it I just got “I'm sorry” n kept it moving for a party of 10. Food was very good however for the price they could do a little better with portion n garnishing. I ordered the lobster ravioli and there was not a bite of lobster to be found n the sauce wasn’t to my liking, but at least Ik what not to get next time. Loved the tacos. Overall a great place to dine would recommend and make sure u book ur table."

"To start off, our server McKenzie was so amazing. She was very sweet, apologetic, and attentive to all of our needs the entire duration of our evening here. The food is very mediocre. I used to go to Friday’s all the time when I was younger but since then, the food has really declined. I ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp and it didn’t come out sizzling. The plate just looked…sad. My boyfriend got the bucket of bones which was really good. If you get the traditional wings here, try the Parmesan Garlic! I haven’t stopped craving them since I tried them yesterday. I got the brownie obsession to go, again…very sad looking and tasted awful nor was it warmed up. And for the appetizer, we got the classic Fridays combo which again was very underwhelming. The wings were enough for me to come back and give it another try but other than that, the customer service was the highlight of the night. Not the food."

"We used to love Libertores has been disappointing last few times- last night prompted me to write this. Keep in mind we consider ourselves regulars- however the owner has got to recognize us since we recognize him- yet treated like strangers every time. That's the start- drinks....we got our bar drinks( wine and a beer) glass of water- never once did the server come check to see if we needed a refill- until we were ready for the check-Bread- is this a new rule? No refills just 4 slices for 2 people- we are Italian- bread is a huge part of the meal. Sauce- since we are repeat customers- we know that the side of pasta is always dry- so we asked for a little extra sauce- got 2 tablespoons full....and was up-charged $2.00!!!! TWO DOLLARS FOR TWO TABLESPOONS!!! No even a ladel full... BTW- we were there at 4- only patrons in the place- to say disappointed is an understatement- during this time where people chose to spend their hard earned money and get a value meal- you may be better off cooking at home- cheaper and more delicious. just saying."

"This is a really nice wildfire location. The service is top notch. I went here recently for a meal with coworkers and they were able to accommodate our whole group. For dinner, I ordered a rib eye with fries and a glass of wine. The steak was slighlty over medium which was a bit of a let down as was the seasoning! It was kind of bland, and I expected more. The fries were ok, but nothing special. The pinot I had was good. For dessert I had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream which was amazing. Just as I remembered the last time I had it!"

"I've been to Mon Ami Gabi in Reston many times, mainly for business meetings. I always order the Steak Fritte Classique. Unfortunately, this time the food was subpar. The steak tasted like it had been cooked in old butter or a dirty grill. There was a noticeable degradation in the quality of the food since the last time I was there. Our waitress was nice and attentive, but made a mistake splitting the check 3-ways. When the manager tried to fix it, he also made a mistake and brought the wrong check. Without going into too many details, the interactions with the manager were digusting. He was a slime and very condescending. He blamed the poor waitress, which showed horrible leadership on his side. As a manager, you never blame a team member and always have your team's back! We pointed this out to him. We also pointed out to him that not once did he apologize. Needless to say he tainted our experience."

"I loved everything, especially the dessert, the food was to the point, the cocktails were great, the attention of the staff was always attentive, something that always caught my attention when I go to places like this, I never see the floor manager, and on this occasion always I saw him attentive and watching everything they did, a gentleman with long hair very attentive people so we always need everything to always be perfect"

"Despite the delicious food (I had the Life Balance salmon [I'm picky about salmon quality it met my high standards] my BFF had chopped salad tortilla soup) and the very attentive service, the noise level made Coopers Hawk a difficult place for a long-delayed get-together. We could barely hear each other, even though we were sitting at adjacent corners of the table. But we appreciated not being pressured to hurry up leave the table. We were also glad we'd brought extra layers, as the temperature was much chillier than the April outdoors, maybe 67°. So we won't be returning when we next get together, until it's warm enough outside to sit on the patio, where it's quieter."

"Everything was great during our visit on the holiday, except for one issue. Upon our arrival, we were informed that the staff wasn't properly connected to their tablets to check OpenTable reservations, so I had to request a manager to verify our reservation and earn points. When the manager came, it seemed like they were completely unfamiliar with OpenTable, even though they eventually acknowledged and credited us for our reservations. Aside from that, the food and service were excellent."

"Came for drinks around 9pm and got the $5 “Friday-Rita” while my friend enjoyed a Long Island iced tea and of course two glasses of water. Service was not the best. We sat outside it was nice and warm out, lighting was perfect. The waiter made unnecessary jokes and teasing my friend for ordering light. Also, seemed to forget our order for more water and the ticket. My friend ate lightly and ordered a basket of Hand cut Fries that were seasoned with a salt and pepper mix that was pleasing to the palate. I ordered the Simply grilled Salmon with lemon-butter broccoli and Jasmine Rice. $25 not including tip. The Salmon a little dry but butter sauce with broccoli and rice made up for it. I ate every bite of it. The Margarita was average, a lot of ice and lemon, no lime. Although my first time visiting this location, not my first time dining with this franchise. Certainly will not be my last."

"Dinner was excellent for all. Drink food prices very reasonable. Server was very friendly, but forgot several things and had to be reminded a few times. Table was also not ready when we arrived for our reservation, had to wait 20 min. Overall a great time but could use some improving on the staff"

"The food is average. The menu has not been updated in years. No greeter when you walk in, a small paper sign states to seat yourself but if you attempt to do so, usually an employee appears and not so kindly directs you where to sit. After you receive your food, you are lucky if the waitress refills your drink and the dinner rolls are cold and stale. The worst happens after you receive the check, which usually comes quickly: you are expected to take the check up to the cashier by the door where you are not asked how your meal was or even kindly greeted. The only thing they ask you is if you want to add a tip and when done they do not even say have a nice day or come again . This plays really bombs in customer service. It is those small things that make all the difference."

"I was so excited to take my mother to this restaurant. I had been bragging about the amazing French dip prime rib sandwich... usually medium rare and delicious. Served to us cold... cold au jus..cold sandwich.. cold fries. And the meat well done skrids..nothing like the dream sandwich I had had a few times. The French onion soup also not like before. Soup itself great but cheese on top was not browned. I cannot imagine complaining about too much cheese... but it was an inch thick and hard to get to soup. Again..not the norm. Great service."
