"If you’re going for the sushi, I recommend you don’t bother. Worst sushi I’ve had by far. Barely anything in each roll despite what the descriptions make it sound like. I’ve never been so disappointed in sushi before. And I went on a slow Monday night, so it wasn’t because the kitchen was busy. And the miso soup was the smallest portion ever, barely filled the bowl halfway. Spent a lot of money here on appetizers and sushi and really disappointed, wish I went anywhere else. I wasted my money coming here for sushi. And I was celebrating a special occasion so it was even worse. I just can’t get over how little was actually in their sushi, and for regular sushi prices as if there was a good amount of fish inside. So mean of this restaurant. It’s also bad service. Not attentive at all. Had to ask the front desk for the check because the wait staff was no where to be found ever again after bringing us the food. The female who does the hibachi here with the deep voice is not funny or nice and was obnoxious and rude. She was also mean to a little kid, asking a 5 year old girl if she wanted a tiny toy chicken, handing it to her, then a few moments later telling just kidding and snatching it back up, cackling. She’s extremely way too loud too. The guys at the other tables were much better, funny, and nice. Also what in the world is up with the rated r statue that greets everyone at their front door? Literally saw a mom have her young kids pose with it for a pic not noticing the giant, fully erect. If you want a Mountain View in their lounge with a drink, great. The food and staff, I don’t recommend, especially not the sushi. The sushi wouldn’t even be worth it if the prices were cut in half. They’re not true sushi rolls with typical sized fish fillings inside. Not fair of this place. I’ve never complained about sushi from any restaurant before this. I wasn’t forced to do valet parking on the slow Monday night but the previous time I went, I was forced to do valet parking. I had no idea they had mandatory valet parking and am so against that. They need to add that to their website, it doesn’t state that anywhere. The valet guys are very rude too. And they knocked the cup holder off my door and didn’t put it back on! Also removed the cover from my seat. They weren’t careful at all driving my vehicle and didn’t treat it with respect. I don’t appreciate being forced into valet parking, Mt. Fuji."

"Their lunch specials are also very affordable. I took a co-worker here on a Saturday, and we each had two rolls, soup, salad, spicy mayo, and tea. Our total came to $26, which we easily split. Now, onto the food, which is my favorite part! I rate the sushi a solid 9.5/10 – I'm slightly disappointed in it, but my favorites are the Spicy Tuna, Boston, and Eel Avocado rolls. The miso soup deserves a perfect 10/10; it’s hands down the best I've ever had – no other sushi restaurant can compare. The appetizers are also fantastic. When I’m really hungry, I usually go for the Kani Salad or Garlic Edamame, both of which deserve a straight 10/10. As for dessert, I haven't explored the dessert menu much, but when I do, I always opt for the green tea ice cream because it's delicious. Now, let's talk about the hibachi. There are two hibachi tables right next to each other. The first time I tried their hibachi a few years ago, I decided to host my 23rd birthday party there with family and friends. I made a reservation a few days in advance to ensure our table was ready. Upon arrival, we were seated and welcomed right away. I ordered the Chicken and Steak Combo hibachi, which comes with rice and vegetables. The chicken was excellent, and my steak was medium rare, juicy, and flavorful. The vegetable fried rice was decent but nothing too remarkable. I did steal a piece of my friend’s roasted shrimp, and it was AMAZING! Definitely a must-try! The hibachi chef was clever, funny, and charming. Although their English wasn't great, it didn't matter! I had such a great time that I couldn't help singing as I left the venue. For my first experience, I’d rate it a perfect 10/10. Unfortunately, my second hibachi experience was quite different. The chicken was dry, the steak was overcooked, and everything was lacking in seasoning. The fried rice had far too much soy sauce. I was really disappointed. The service this time was surprisingly poor, and we were asked to give up our seats for a reservation that had arrived, which we were fine with. I guess it was just an off day for them. For my second experience, I’d rate it a 3/10. In summary: - Service: 8/10 - Sushi: 9/10 - Miso Soup: 10/10 - Appetizers: 10/10 - Hibachi: 7/10 (due to inconsistency; you may have a perfect 10/10 experience one day and a less than stellar one the next) - Dessert: Can't comment much as I haven't tried the entire menu - Venue: 8/10 Overall score: 8.5/10"

"Totally disgusting!!! When I first walked in, most of the sushi at the bar looked dried out. I assumed they were throwing it away since the chef was wrapping it up. My waitress was unprofessional and had a bad attitude. When she brought out our order, Itold her that it was not fresh. She got upset and told me that it was. That they just put it out today however I took the sauceoff so she can see the discoloration in the raw fish. She still insisted it was fresh. At that point I was not about to arguewith her. I asked for the check, told her to cancel the rest of the order and left.. I won’t be back nor do I recommend. Allthese 5 stars I just knew this restaurant was going to be great"

"We arrived at 1, knowing that they close at 2:30, figuring that was plenty of time for our lunch. We could not find the entrance, as we approached from the street rather than from the parking lot. Finally we entered from the patio, and came into a nearly empty restaurant. There were only two other people there at that time. We ordered and were served quickly. The food was good, but pricey. We had one large (Dragon) roll and a 3-item bento box, one hot tea and one iced tea, and the bill came to $39.70. At 1:40 the waitress brought the check to the table and said they were closing out, could we please pay! When I questioned the time, she said they wanted to close early. So we felt rushed."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"First time trying this place after driving by many many times for years. Their AYCA selection is big. The quality of fish is not the best in town but okay. Service is not bad. The presentation is like 2 stars , specially on nigiri. A thin small piece of fish got thrown on top of some rice. The roll selection may seem huge but many of them are similar with a minor twist and different names. We left being stuffed but not necessarily satisfied with the quality of the meal. The bill wasn?t smaller than what we would normally pay when we eat at other Japanese restaurant"

"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"When here on a Monday for lunch with my dad. The inside was very clean and fancy. We had trouble at first understanding how the menu worked, but the waitress showed us about how it works. The best thing to do is tell them what you want and they'll tell you the price (instead of you figuring it out yourself). I ordered the steak and shrimp lunch combo. It was super tasty. I would definitely order it again. Soup came with mine and it was also very good. The price for myself was about $15.00 which I think is very fair considering the environment and quality of food. Overall it was a great experience and cannot wait to go back sometime."

"I had a negative experience at this restaurant. Firstly, my order was lost. Secondly, they did not offer compensation or help with my subsequent order. Lastly, they served me Pringles chips alongside a $15 appetizer that they labeled as tuna tartare, but it was just spicy tuna in a circular form. I will not be returning to this establishment and will instead choose another sushi restaurant in Bedminster. Avoid this place if you are looking for good service."

"Stopped by on a whim, looking for good sushi. We arrived on a Friday night and did not wait to be seated. It was packed and the waitresses were attentive. Party of 2, had a few beers, the lobster roll, hanabi roll and California roll.. all equallydelicious and fresh! The garlic sauce on the hanabi roll was super delicious and very rich (def getting it on the side nexttime). Total was about $62 plus tip. absolutely recommend and would come again!"
