"If you’re on the hunt for an authentic, no-frills Chinese dining experience, look no further than Lucky Foo. Just a heads up: if you’re expecting high-end American-style service, you might be surprised. But trust me, that’s part of its charm. With just one person cooking and another serving, the goal here is to get delicious, homemade food to you—no matter how long it takes. If you’re in a hurry, this isn’t the place for you; this is slow food at its best. Having lived in Hawaii, I was familiar with this style of dining. Now, let’s dive into what really matters—the food. It’s fresh, bursting with homestyle flavors, and sure to leave you satisfied. That noodle soup? Simply magical. Whenever I crave authentic, homemade noodle soup, this is my go-to spot. It’s not an everyday craving, but when I do feel it, Lucky Foo always hits the mark. The atmosphere inside is unique; it’s quiet—almost eerily so—and it seems to be filled with college-age Asian students. There’s no background music or chatter, just patrons absorbed in their bowls or their phones. It’s an experience you won’t find anywhere else. Don’t expect fancy menus; the options are displayed on the wall. Also, be prepared to bring cash, as it’s a cash-only establishment. But honestly? The quality of the food is so outstanding that you won’t even mind. If you’re seeking genuine Chinese cuisine without the frills, Lucky Foo is the place for you. It might not appeal to everyone, but for those who appreciate it, it’s a delightful slice of homestyle goodness right here in Kearny."

"Phenomenal Chinese Food Manic Service. Han Dynasty has fantastic food and unless there is a place that I 'm unaware of, I believe it is the best Chinese food in Chester County. I 've heard wonderful things about the original Han Dynasty in Old City and the authentic Sichuan that they offer including the spice level of every dish that will melt your face off. That being said, the owner has done a great job of tailoring the Exton menu to a more suburban palate. They offer both an Americanized and authentic menu. As other reviewers have mentioned, the authentic choices are amazing, however, I 've had great experiences with the Americanized menu as well. I will agree that the authentic menu is where this place shines. The lunch specials are a good size and very affordable. The Dan Dan Noodles are DELICIOUS albeit in an agonizing, this is burning my very soul kind of way. It 's hot! While this is my favorite spot for Chinese food, it 's not my favorite restaurant. As other reviewers have also mentioned, the service is very disorganized. The staff is extremely nice, but I don 't think I 've witnessed a more fractured way of running a restaurant. Servers clearly don 't have sections and wear too many hats. BUT! I wouldn 't let the service dissuade you. Just make sure you allow ample time for your meal (maybe not the best choice for a work day lunch). A friend summed it up pretty well: The food is so good, the server could slap me in the mouth right now and I 'd still eat here."
