"Let me start by saying the food, presentation and wait service has been good to excellent on our 1st and 2nd visits over the last two weeks. But we definitely need to address a totally unacceptable response to an issue we ran into last night. Just after our 1st visit on 12/30/22 we called to inquire about their Corkage Fee which was stated as $35. We then booked another res for 1/7/23 for us and another couple and bringing a nice 08 Cab to share with our guests. So the bill arrives with the ridiculous Corkage of $45 shown. I nicely asked our waiter to reduce the charge to $35 and advised my wife had specifically called in to check it just 2 weeks before AND at $45 we would have not brought our own wine as $35 was bad enough. So here comes in tandem the Ops Director Ms. Martin and Chef/Owner Mr. Moore to say bluntly its $45 and that 's it. They couldn 't have cared less my wife had called in and Mr. Moore blurted out here 's the deal, we make no money on people bringing their own wine . They stood glaring at us in a demeaning way like how dare you to have questioned our policies? We paid our bill and left. So here are my closing comments on BIS On Main. We have spent over $640 on our two visits in recent weeks. You could have easily said okay, we will adjust this time but please be aware of the increase in the future and all would have been fine. Secondly, Mr. Moore should reconsider his very inappropriate comment about not making any money . Are you serious! So as they say, It will be a cold day in hell........"

"Went here as a group of 14 after a WVU graduate school ceremony. We arrived around 3:30 so not super busy. Seated fairly quickly but had to juggle who sat where as booth seating on the one side of our table left many sitting chest high at the table. Received all our orders and drinks quickly. Mixed frozen drinks at $12 each, racked up our bill rapidly. ORDER with caution and don't assume anything is included..steak fries were charged an extra $2.50 even on meals that came with fries(we were asked if we wanted curly or steak fries not knowing steak fries were extra..chips and dip comes with mango salsa OR queso..we ordered 2-one with each -but the server suggested we get both with each..we figured ok would just be smaller portions, but no we were just upcharged for getting both..fried rice extra when it comes with white rice..again no mention of up charge). 20% gratuity AND an alcohol tax AND non-cash payment added another $100 to our bill). We also had a coupon from the restaurant app to receive a free burger. Even though we made it well known to the server ahead of time and showed her the code verification she forgot to take it off plus charged the extra $2.50 for the fries.So the meal went from free (this person ordered a water) to $15.50. The food was all really good except for the prime rib sliders..little to no seasoning on the prime rib..Top picks..Loco moco, Kal-bi beef short ribs, burgers, Hawaiian pork and cabbage. Plates were $16-19 each. Burgers were $13/13.50. 1/2 lb boneless wings $11.Sodas and iced teas $4, beers were $7-9 for talls.We misplaced our receipt so we called to get a copy and explained our concern to Brendan. At first he wasn't understanding but at the end of the lengthy text conversation he offered to compensate us with a gift card for a return trip. He did in fact send the gift card...we will go back and give them another shot now we're informed how to order and ask if anything is extra?"

"They gave me a perfect breakfast. To start with, the coffee is 10/10. If you find that you have to doctor your coffee to make it palatable, you don?t with this joint. Smooth Colombian blend, my first cup had angels singing. I ordered a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The strawberries were fresh and not frozen and dusted with cinnamon, totally made this waffle phenomenal. The eggs were real eggs and not from a liquid blend and the bacon was thick cut and not too flimsy and not too crispy. Service was quick and friendly. So glad I stopped here for breakfast."

"Had a really weird experience coming here. I went with some co-workers after work and we all got a weird feeling. Everyone in the place kept on looking at us all. Weirdly wouldn't start a conversation and just felt very standoffish. Also, the staff were very abrupt and one of my friends asked for recommendations and they responded that we should know what kind of alcohol we want before we show up and they just pointed to the menu and said all we have. We left shortly after so can't talk too much about the place long term. Haven't gone back since. If I do I will update the review. Other than that, parking is always a problem when they have the events on Wednesday nights. Downtown Windsor so be sure to check what's going on around before showing up as parking is extremely limited and we ended up having to walk about 10 minutes. Parking: There's a few spots right out front but you would be better off going to street parking about a block away as there's a lot more spots"

"salty and needs some taste. the best thing I can say about eating here was that it was edible and the portions were decent. it was much over price for quality. the spring rollers are not spring rollers, but reamers and not good. they were salted a lot and so bland. the faggot on the nachos was a part of the worst-drawn pig I've ever had. the chips that came with the nachos were so salty that it was hard to try something else that was on them. the artichoke dimmer was the worst we tried, and the chips were again so salty that it was hard to taste everything through the salt mountain. the truffle friars were surprisingly really good and if they were forced to eat here with friends, I would recommend them. the service was decent and the location is great. we sat outside and it was absolutely beautiful, too bad eating was so disappointing. also, be ready to pay for tiny pitcher of the beer."

"Tap House Grill has quickly become our go-to place for family outings. Our server, Patsy, was absolutely wonderful! She gave us fantastic service and shared some great laughs with us; she's such a charming person! The food was outstanding! We began with a shrimp appetizer that was perfectly battered and glazed—simply incredible! We will definitely be coming back for that. We also had the chicken quesadillas, which were delicious and came with two dipping sauces. The double-fried chicken sandwich topped with Merks cheese sauce was amazing, and even though the salmon bowl isn't on the menu, they kindly substituted salmon for my guest, which was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Tap House Grill and Patsy! We can’t wait to return soon!"
