"Additionally, we ordered one sugar cookie and one chocolate chip cookie but received two sugar cookies instead. When I went into the store for pick-up, they were still bagging my order, so the staff could have informed me that they were out of chocolate chip cookies, giving me the chance to choose a different cookie rather than assuming we wanted two sugar cookies. Overall, it was not a great experience. On a positive note, the other two sandwiches we ordered were fine, as was the mac and cheese. It’s unfortunate that the food quality lacks consistency from one order to the next. For fast food restaurants, consistency in food quality and taste is what customers expect and deserve.
**ORIGINAL REVIEW:** This was my first visit to a Potbelly shop. After reading more recent reviews about this location, I almost hesitated to place my order. However, I’m glad I took the chance. The food was really good. I had a veggie melt while my two grandkids enjoyed a turkey sandwich and a meatball sub, both of which were well-prepared and tasted great. They also relished their cups of mac and cheese. I’m pleased to report that everything, including the macaroni, was a hit. (Just so you know, I placed and paid for the carry-out order through the app. By the time we arrived, my food was already bagged and waiting on the shelf. We picked it up without interacting with the staff, so I can’t comment on the restaurant employees, but they certainly made excellent food!)"
