"Is Huddle House a 24-hour establishment? I'm specifically referring to the location at 501 North Service Road in Ruston. I tried to enter around 2:32 AM on Sunday, October 16th, but a person who wasn't even an employee (and appeared to be quite drunk) unlocked the door and informed me that they were closed. It seems like the staff decided to have a private breakfast gathering for their friends instead."

"Great good abs place to dine in but such bad management I haven’t seen in my life. This has happened to me 3rd week in a row. I called in 3rd Sunday in a row to place an order and they left me on hold for 30 mins . I cut the call to call again and phone is not reachable. I know Sunday mornings are busy but you don’t need to tell someone to hold for a second. If you busy I get it just simply say that we are sorry but not taking orders on call but don’t put me on hold for 30 mins. Management needs to do something about it. Open more locations , hire more staff or shut this place too but do something . That’s not the way to run a business."

"Me and my family went there tonight at 930 and they had no coffee no this and no that and then we was walking out to leave because they had nothing because they where closing all the food up when dine in stops at 10pm as we was leaving the cook decides to come out the door and disrespect me and my family while in our car leaving and hollered out at us and said we said something to his waitresses and then cursed us out in a different language and little did he know my wife knew everything he said and the assistant manager (Christina) watch him do everything he did nothing was said to him me and my family will never go back there this was terrible service if there was 0 that's what i would put and there is black mode everywhere in this place and nothing is never done when these employees act out and disrespect customers Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"9/20/15, 11:30 AM. Coffee Good, Service and Food Bad. Orders not correct, brought the wrong order first time, when it did show up. The hash browns were very greasy, the eggs were ordered over medium and came out scrambled (overcooked, border line burnt), the biscuit was flat and not completely cooked. As we were half through with our meal they brought another one and asked if we had our food yet. Had to flag down a server to get coffee, and never did get our bill, went to the counter to pay. Two parties left the restaurant without paying, the service and food was so bad. Another left without his order even being taken. I have eaten at other Huddle House restaurants, and they were very good. This is beyond a doubt the worst dining experience I have EVER had at a restaurant."

"Terrible terrible service here and no one cares. No one acknowledged we were even there. Then when we were seated the waitress started taking our order right away and as she did I noticed the 3 behind us were leaving. I pointed it out to the waitress and she chewed us out and said it’s because people want to talk instead of order. After that completely uncalled for exchange we told Her we would just leave and she quickly turned and stormed off. The last time we were there they were also rude and people were waiting and just left. They move like snails and have no idea how to multi task and seem to never care. This is the most pathetic service I’ve ever had and I will never return to this place again and it’s literally the closest to my house. The entire team seemed to congregate behind the bar and linger there so it’s no wonder they can’t keep up and people stream in and right back out. They look at the people waiting with complete contempt. Completely unprofessional in every way. My family went there Sunday and was treated terribly by a different waitress so this is definitely a management issue. I see the manger ques up boilerplate responses yet made zero effort while all this is happening around them. Spare that here"

"My husband and I visited this restaurant during our hour break, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. There were two women working who seemed extremely stressed out. The card machine was malfunctioning, leading to a line of customers waiting to pay. I seated myself, only to find out that our waiter was also the cook, and the other woman was busy cooking and preparing food. The tables were dirty, and it seemed like no one was cleaning them, so we decided to leave. I’m giving it two stars because I appreciate that they had a young girl with them, and I admire anyone who is working hard to support their family."

"I visited this place for the first time and got to say I am really happy with the visit. I ordered butter-milk pancake, mac-chess, and hot chocolate all of the dish and drink prep and cooked perfectly. Only small down part is that I guess this place is short staff, so be prepared for lil wait time after you being seated. When I visited there was only one young girl was working and serving food for at least over half of the stores table. I will visit this place again to try other new dishes."

"Stopped for a quick bite from a long ride, We were greeted by the Manager which put in our appetizer, then was greeted by the waiter mins after, We noticed she was the only one working so we gave Grace to the situation even though it was only 4 people including us two in the restaurant. I Believe the waitress name is JESSICA. As we waited for her to come back she proceeded to assist other customers as they would walk in, 35 mins go by we realize it 's taking way too long and she offered things to other customers that were NEVER offered nor suggested to us. Five mins later she comes to our table and tells us she has FORGOTTEN TO PUT IN OUR ORDER JUST PUT IT IN BEFORE COMING TO US we were waiting 42 MINS IN THAT TIME DID NOT RECEIVE AN APOLOGY JESSICA DIDNT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THE SITUATION, SO WE PROCEEDED TO ASK FOR THE MANAGER. WE DID NOT FEEL WELCOMED BY THE WAITRESS JESSICA, FELT AS IF SHE DELIBERATELY SINGLED OUT. ZERO STARS. BELIEVE SHE WAS RACIST CHOSE TO NOT SERVE/TREAT US AS AN EQUAL."

"My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at Huddle House. We enjoyed the delicious food and friendly service. The hot food was cooked and served promptly. I tried the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes, which was cooked to perfection. We often visit on Wednesday nights after church and plan to continue doing so. The restaurant is now cleaner and the food is better than before. I must say that Jessica has made a significant difference at the Talladega Huddle House. The staff was welcoming and kid-friendly, greeting us as soon as we entered and ensuring we were taken care of promptly."

"I always love coming to this Huddle House!!! We received the most welcoming greeting as soon as we walked in the door. Our server came right over to our table and interacted with our entire family. She was extremely energetic, fast and friendly. She made the restaurant a very family friendly atmosphere. She recommended the Turkey Bacon Ranch and it was remarkably delicious. My husbands burger was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing as well. Our food looked exactly like the pictures and tasted even better. The cook was very fast and had a great personality just like our server. I honestly have to say this was the cleanest Huddle House I’ve ever been in. Never the bathrooms smelled fresh and clean. Our entire experience was phenomenal. We will definitely be returning!!!! This is honestly the best Huddle House I’ve ever been to and the best restaurant in Sylvania Ga!!!! "I am giving this restaurant a 4-star rating based on previous experiences. I apologize for only reviewing when things go wrong, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience. In the past, my visits to this restaurant have been excellent. However, during my most recent visit, I placed a to-go order at 11:00am and arrived at 11:38 only to be told that it would be an hour wait for one item. I was perplexed as to why my order, placed well in advance of my half-hour lunch break, was not ready upon my arrival. Despite the small number of customers in the restaurant, my order had not been processed. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my order as I could not afford to wait an hour. I have enjoyed the food at this restaurant in the past, particularly the delicious stuffed hashbrown, but this recent experience has left me hesitant to return, as I cannot risk wasting my limited break time."

"Unfortunately, our original server never returned to check on us, even when we tried to get her attention. She also never refilled my coffee. The worst moment came when we were ready to pay; our server stood at the register, just staring at us. My husband asked if there was a problem, and she responded that she was waiting on us. He replied that he was waiting for her to tell him the cost. She then said it was on the receipts (which there were three of), and she was still waiting on us. Frustrated, my husband asked for the manager. Eventually, she combined the receipts and provided a total, all while our waitress ignored us and looked at her phone, being quite rude and unprofessional. My husband now wants to speak with the owner."

"The food was ok. The service however was terrible. I sat at a table for 10 minutes before a server came and ask me what I wanted. I had not even been given a menu. I was in a hurry and said can I just go ahead and order. She walked away as if I was not even there. She then came back 5 minutes or so later with a glass of water and a menu. I ordered a bacon cheese burger. The food was cooked well and fast. Then the same server brought me the food and left never to return. She brought no napkins, or silverware. Never asked me if I needed anything or if everything was ok. She never came back. Fact is I did not see her again till I paid the check and she pointed where I was to tip her. My tip is don't eat yellow snow. Will not ever return to this location. The service was that bad."

"my hubby and I went on Saturday 11/20/2021 in palatka florida, at 10:30 a.m. it was very busy so we decided to sit in the opposite direction to the breakfast, as all tables were filled with customers. all staff were very friendly and worked quickly to get food to customers. our breakfast was served within ten minutes of our arrival. the breakfast was delicious and they stopped with tea refills. great work. coworkers worked together like a well oiled machine."

"While I always have a pleasant experience when coming to out hartwell huddle house tonight set a new bar, Tera was amazing! She gave us the level of service you would expect of a 5 star restaurant. Our glasses were never empty, I overhead her telling the cook exactly how we wanted the food and watched her double check to make sure it was correct before coming to our table. And the way she interacted with my kids, helping them to order and explaining the menu with patience, treating them as equal guests, really stood out. We will definitely be back and I do hope she will be our server again. Also, she helped us sign up for a rewards program, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was as family friendly as ever!"
