"Have been to this spot 3x and really want this diner to work. This last time was the last straw; my girlfriend had ordered the Benedict’s Florentine and found an entire egg shell in her egg. Management doesn’t apologize just offers to make another one, waitress had already forgot a Belgian waffle we initially ordered. When the second Benedict arrives, ANOTHER egg shell. Also, I ordered the hungry man for myself, I substituted the pancakes for waffles and they are the exact same price, bill arrives, and that’s a 2 dollar up charge. Nobody comes to check to see if we’re okay, this place can’t even do the bare minimum to apologize or remove items from the bill. If you have absolutely nowhere else to go, still don’t come here. It’s never too late to turn things around, this place doesn’t care, amateur cooks and waitstaff."

"I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an egg bagel with salt and pepper, but when I got home I found that I had been given a BLT on an everything bagel with no salt or pepper. I'm not sure what happened, as I usually don't have any issues when I come here and the food is usually good. This time was disappointing, and although I was too hungry to go back and fix it, I may have to reconsider this as my go-to breakfast spot in the future."

"Finding a good meal at a reasonable price in the city can be a challenge, but the Olympic Flame delivers exactly that. They offer classic diner fare and serve breakfast all day long. I've occasionally enjoyed brunch there, and their breakfast menu is quite extensive. For lunch, I typically opt for the burger, BLT, or chicken wrap, accompanied by fries or onion rings. Every meal I've had has been expertly prepared. The highlight of the visit, however, is their impressive cake and pie display. They have the tallest meringue pies I've ever encountered! Although I haven't ordered dessert yet, I'm definitely planning to try a slice of pie—it looks utterly decadent and is a must-try at least once. The staff is consistently friendly, and I've never had to wait for a table. There's ample seating available, which is a rare find in the city."

"I adore this bagel shop. Every time I visit, I always order the same thing: a plain toasted bagel with plain tofu cream cheese, lox, capers, and red onions, along with a cup of coffee. The indoor space is great, and there is also outdoor seating available. It's conveniently located near Prospect Park, making it the perfect spot to grab breakfast after walking my dog. After paying, you receive a ticket with your order number on it. When your number is called, you can pick up your order. They provide a cup for you to pour your own coffee. The only downside is the young guy with long hair who works at the register. He always seems to be in a bad mood and can be a bit argumentative. Despite this, I won't let it stop me from enjoying my Sunday morning tradition, and you shouldn't let it discourage you from giving this place a try. Enjoy!"

"Steve T. I was at the Bagel St. Grill for the first time today. It will be the last time as well. While at my table eating my bagel a worker from the register area walked over to the coffee serving counter. Stuck both hands into the trash can and pushed the trash down. Then grabbed a towel which was already on the counter, wiped the counter from end to end. Put the same towel under a coffee server. Then put her hands on two of the coffee server nozelles. Walked back to the register area and did the same on two other coffee server nozelles. I brought this to the attention to whom I assumed was a manager, as so he identifed himself to me, while there were people near the ordering line. He babbled something in a low tone of voice to keep the situation subdude, I did not hear everything he said. If the store would like to challange my above statement I will be more than happy to go back to the store and review the cameras. 4/26/23 between 1130 and noon."

"It can be a challenge to find a delicious bagel in Connecticut, but I finally discovered Upper Crust and was thrilled with their offerings. They serve full, fluffy bagels with a crispy crust, filled with delicious bacon, egg, and cheese, all at a reasonable price. My bacon, egg, and cheese bagel was fresh and incredibly tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful, the establishment was clean and nicely decorated. If you're in the Greenwich/Stamford area and craving a good bagel, look no further than Upper Crust."

"I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and honestly I don't know what kind of wood the bacon was made out of but I almost broke a tooth. The cheese wasn't melted . The bagel was good but small. They say it comes with a free coffee but with the price of the sandwiches I know 100% your technically paying for the coffee even if you don't drink tea or coffee there should be at least water option."

"**Location (5/5)**: The restaurant is ideally located right by the beach, which is a huge plus. **Service (4/5)**: The staff were friendly and attentive. They informed me about a special menu that I initially missed. **Food (2/5)**: Unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients left much to be desired. The food lacked freshness and tasted rather bland. The chicken seemed to be boiled, and the salsa felt underwhelming. On a positive note, the portions were generous. **Price (2/5)**: I found the prices to be quite high, with wraps, sandwiches, and bagels costing between $12 and $18 USD. **Would I return?**: No. **Message to the owner**: Do you recognize your own restaurant and food from my pictures? It's concerning when the owner seems unaware of the condition of their establishment. I'll be sure to share more photos to help jog your memory."

"During my travels, I always make an effort to discover local businesses, even in areas I'm familiar with. I came across this charming spot, and I'm so glad I did. The service was outstanding, and the food was just as impressive. I ordered the California omelet with home fries and a large coffee, and it was delicious—especially the fresh avocado. Dining in was a delightful experience. I should mention that the service was particularly comforting, given that I’m visiting someone in hospice. The staff were attentive and kind, which made a significant difference."

"They really have the classic NYC bagel shop experience down to a science. The bagels are always fresh out of the oven. Also, there are like a dozen vegan cream cheeses to pick from and they are all delicious. Really can’t go wrong here!"

"Oh my goodness, this restaurant has gone from being the best to the worst! I used to love their bagels, but the quality has really declined and I'm not sure why. The last few times I've been, the bagels just didn't taste as good as they used to. I thought maybe it was just my imagination. Today, I went in to buy a half dozen and didn't get a free one like the sign promised. Instead, I received what looked like half a dozen bialys. I'm really disappointed, so I'll be going back to Slims instead."
