"Thanks to a promotion our daughter received for free ice cream certificates at the popular Graeter's Ice Cream shop, we decided to visit the local shop in town. Even on a late Monday afternoon, the shop was packed with customers, but the line moved quickly. The promotion included a single scoop of ice cream on a sugar cone, which is typically priced at $5.25 each. I chose the signature Black Raspberry Chip flavor, my husband went with Black Cherry Chip, and our daughter opted for Mint Chip, all of which were delicious. Graeter's is known for making small-batch ice cream using the French Pot process, resulting in dense and rich ice cream. While I enjoyed the flavor and creaminess of the ice cream, I personally wasn't a fan of the large chunks of chewy chocolates. I wish there was an option for Black Raspberry without the chips. With a variety of flavors to choose from, I look forward to trying a different flavor on my next visit. The staff we encountered were friendly, the shop was clean, and there was ample indoor and outdoor seating. The Village Green Park is conveniently located across the street, offering nice views from the shop. Though some may find it pricey, Graeter's is offering $1.53 single-dip sugar cones in celebration of National Ice Cream Month and their 153 years in business, available through their app. Overall, I highly recommend this shop to ice cream lovers."

"My husband and I are regulars here and part of the rewards program. Management please please please ENSURE your employees are paying attention to what the customers are ordering. I specifically asked for a strawberry sundae vanilla ice cream with everything on it (everything means pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry). I never verbally asked for a strawberry shortcake sundae. It was not what I was expecting to scoop out of my sundae cup and threw me off completely. Needless to say, I had to throw it away because the texture was off. I do not like cake mixed in with ice cream. When I called Graeters, one of the employees said “oh sorry, we must have gotten confused and thought you wanted a strawberry shortcake sundae.” The employees should not be confused or mess up orders especially when this was a simple order. Other times, when I ordered this sundae, the pecans were missing. Also, when the customer orders a milkshake for example, your employees should not be asking each time if they want whipped cream for an additional charge. If the customer wants that, they will specifically say so when ordering. It becomes quite redundant and annoying for customers to have to hear that each time. From observation, we can tell the employees are young and perhaps this is their first job experience, but they need to be mindful in listening to what the customers are ordering. The employees should strive to ensure they have attention to detail and correct orders each time. On a positive note, the ice cream and milkshakes are very delicious and this is why we like going here."
