Graeter's Ice Cream

it used to be the best milkshake place around. now it tastes like they just blended milk with ice and gave that to me… what happened to the flavor?

This is one of my favorite places! I love the double scoop mocha chip ice cream (see pic), which has some big pieces of chocolate chips in it. Everything I've tried has been very good. Recommended!

This ice cream is the epitome of what ice cream should be. It’s absolutely amazing. The Beavercreek store has the most energetic happy staff. You can tell they’re treated well by the management. The management is so interactive with the customers I’m always happy to see them! Sidenote… their T-shirts are incredibly comfortable soft.

The ice cream at this restaurant is unbelievably delicious, and my young boys were thrilled to find out they also offer dairy-free sorbet. The staff was fantastic, the tables were spotless, and the service was top-notch. However, the noise level in the restaurant can be a bit much for those sensitive to sound, but there is the option to sit outside.

Fantastic ice cream! Super helpful staff! I live a very long way away in Texas and only come to Ohio to visit family but I make it a point to come to Graeter's several times every visit. This creamery in the Dayton area is wonderful. They offer fantastic, unique flavors without going overboard. If you're disappointed they don't have Rum Raisin, I recommend trying the Browned Butter Bourbon Pecan flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful. The scoops of ice cream are a bit small, but who needs a huge portion anyway? I also appreciated their emphasis on branding, with a variety of Graeter's merchandise available for purchase such as lip balm, carry out bags, clothing, kitchen tools, and chocolate coins. It's a smart move on their part!

I ordered two Milkshakes last night. One was supposed to come with whipped cream, but when we received our shakes at the drive-thru window, one was missing the whipped cream. When I pointed this out to the woman working the window, she told me that I needed to specify ahead of time because it costs extra. This situation was handled in an unprofessional manner. The staff at this restaurant clearly need better training and communication skills. In customer service, it is important to always take care of the customer and apologize for any mistakes. I was very disappointed with the service.

My husband and I are regulars here and part of the rewards program. Management please please please ENSURE your employees are paying attention to what the customers are ordering. I specifically asked for a strawberry sundae vanilla ice cream with everything on it (everything means pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry). I never verbally asked for a strawberry shortcake sundae. It was not what I was expecting to scoop out of my sundae cup and threw me off completely. Needless to say, I had to throw it away because the texture was off.
