"Is giving 0 stars possible? Negative stars? Extremely disappointed with this place. First off, the drink menu wasn't correct at all as they were out of almost everything. They had to literally tell us the three only drinks available because what we kept asking for wasn't available. Then we place our order, starting with an appetizer. We get our drinks in a few minutes, no problem. But then we wait almost AN HOUR for our food to come out. I timed it and it literally was 55 minutes. Did our appetizers come out though? No. We were given our meals and not even asked about appetizers. Ten minutes later I get the server's attention and we say we didn't get the appetizer. Ten more minutes goes by mind you we're well over an hour since ordering at this point. A different server all together comes and asks about the appetizer if we've received it, at this point I say no we didn't, just cancel it. We finish eating our meal, which was okay, but not great by any means. When we finish eating we try asking for containers to go, but can't seem to get the attention of our server at all. He finally stops by and asks if we're done and we ask for to go containers. He then proceeds to seat other parties, clean tables, and give containers to other tables. We waited 15 minutes and then I got up and got to go containers myself. We never got our check either so after packing up our food I go up to the checkout and they offer no apology for the wait and don't offer a discount or anything. I find it hard to leave even anything as a tip, but I do anyways. What am absolutely infuriating experience. I will never return here. I heard several other people say they were waiting almost an hour as well. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If you're that busy, learn to stop online orders, or stop seating people and let them know there will be a wait. At no point we're we told there would be a wait. Nor were we checked on at any point during our visit unless we specifically asked for the waiter. Terrible."

"The food is pretty good actually, but every time we’ve been in the last 2 3 months it’s been the same girl working there and she’s forgotten or messed up part of our order all 6 times we’ve been. When we asked her if we could get an extra non/bread since she forgot ours the previous time, she tried to charge us extra for it. And after all of that, she forgot the other non so we didn’t end up getting extra anyway. When we asked to speak to a manager she said the manager hasn’t been there in weeks, and only shows up once in a blue moon which I have a hard time believing. The food and restaurant have potential, but low quality employees and poor work ethic are running it into the ground. If you want to avoid the frustration, I’d recommend not coming here or maybe try another location. I won’t be coming to this one anymore, never tried the other location here but if they mess up too then I’m just giving up on this place altogether — update: After another time going and another disappointment where they did my order wrong, I’ve found out recently that some of the grocery stores and online sell tikka shack sauces. The better alternative, I’ve decided, is to buy the sauces and do it all yourself. You can add spicy/non spicy the way you want it, and you won’t have the consistent disappointments the restaurant^ gives you. It’s more work, but less frustration."

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."
