"Okay... E3... They 've been on my list since they opened but we just haven 't made time to go. I 'm glad we finally did and can confidently say that, based on my experience last night, this is one of the best steakhouses in Nashville. They have been open since November 2019, just before you know what, and had all the same struggles as everyone else in the service industry, but over the last six months or so they 've been able to make an incredible come back. A couple different GMs, a couple different chefs, etc, etc. That said, the team that is there last night absolutely seems to have their stuff together. We were able to meet several members of the staff and every single one of them was extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Service is obviously the driving factor here and it was, in every way possible, top notch. This is a high end restaurant and the experience, obviously, comes with a higher price tag. That said, there were several things I noticed during service that absolutely elevated the experience and made the cost worth it for us. One was the interaction of the staff with their guests. The section of the restaurant in which we were seated was basically in the middle of the room giving us rhe opportunity to see most of what was going on and from what I could tell everyone was well taken care of. For us personally, our server (Sofia and server assistant (Maria were both engaging and knowledgeable, table side exchanges with both Chef Steven and the sommelier (Dino were professional but friendly, and we also had an opportunity to meet the new GM (Michael who was beyond generous with his time and gave us a quick tour of the restaurant after dinner. There were a few other things like Sofia sharpening our steak knives at the table before presentation and Maria bringing a trolley to the table to box our leftovers that were just nice little extra touches that made the experience better and I personally enjoyed the entire evening. We will definitely return. (Oh... Complimentary valet parking is also available. Not having been, I was a little confused on how to get there, but trust your GPS. It was right and I didn 't listen. "I ate at Dickie Brennan’s in New Orleans on 06/19/2018. We had a party of six and arrived around 7:00 pm. We realized upon arrival that we were a little under dress, but the hostesses assured us that it was no big deal. We hadn’t made a reservation, but we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Before seating us they asked if it was okay for us to be seated in the bar. We had a young child with us so we appreciated them asking before just seating us in the bar. Within two or three minutes of being seated the waiter came to take out drink order. I was surprised to find out they did not sell sweet tea, but I was politely offered unsweetened tea. Our drinks came out quickly along with warm and crisp French bread. We ordered a small New York strip, a fourteen ounce ribeye, the petite filet, and the Grilled Gulf fish, along with a few sides. We waited no longer than thirty minutes for our food and in the meantime the wait staff made sure our drinks were full and asked if we wanted more bread. The New York strip was ordered medium and was a little rarer than expected, but was still edible without having to send it back. The ribeye was ordered well-done and although a little crisp on the out side the steak was still perfectly juicy and tender. The petite filet was ordered medium-rare and was cooked to perfection. Each steak was topped with a garlic herb butter which added just enough flavor depth to make a melody in your mouth. The grilled gulf fish was fork tender and was served with vegetables, both were seasoned nicely. While eating we had four different people, including the head waiter, come by our table asking how our food was. It was upscale and the prices reflected that, however, it was well worth it considering the excellent service and food. We will definitely be eating here again."

"Restaurant is located inside of the embassy suites hotel, and it would be nice if there was some signage that indicated this. Took me a second to realize that, else we would have easily driven past it and had to double back. Speaking of confusing things, there were several signs with arrows that said to see hostess for seating but they all seemed to contradict each other. It took me asking an employee to get us to the right area. I did notice that multiple other groups of people had the same issue. For an appetizer we got the soft pretzels. The pretzels themselves were good, crispy on the outside and super soft inside. The cheese that came with it was also good, but there was WAY too little of it. There were 5 pretzels, and by the time that 2 were eaten the cheese sauce was gone. Don't know if we could have gotten more, couldn't find the waitress to ask more on that later . For dinner my wife got a cheeseburger, plain and specifically stated she only wanted meat, cheese, and bun and upgraded to French fries for 2 more. When it arrived there was pickles, lettuce, tomato and onions on it. Rather than sending it back, my wife just cut off the parts of the bun meat that had touched it she is a very picky eater . One of my girls got the wings appetizer as an entree and a Caesar salad. The wings came out looking good, but we never saw the salad. There were enough wings, and it came with celery too, so she had enough to eat. The good news is that the Caesar salad wasn't on the bill either, maybe there was a misunderstanding as to whether we really wanted it it not? Other girl got the fettuccine pasta and asked for it to be plain, with the sauce on the side and no butter, etc. just the noodles by themselves. When it came out, the sauce was indeed on the side, but the pasta had cheese and parsley all over it. I asked her if she wanted me to send it back, but she was worried that it would take a long time and may still be wrong. So she tried to eat the noodles that were truly plain, which was less than a fifth of the plate. I got the black and bleu pasta. Not a good choice on my part. WAY too much blackening seasoning in the dish, and not because of heat but just too much seasoning to food ratio. About 2 3 of the pieces of beef were pretty good, but the rest were inedible. Between the fat and the gristle, way too much ended up being discarded. Besides the food issues, our waitress told us multiple times about how slow they were how the hotel was only 15 full. It appeared to be a pathetic attempt to try and get a larger tip. Honestly, if we had gotten decent service then I have no problem tipping accordingly. Despite being slow, our waitress couldn't bother to stop by and see how things were. We had to flag her down, when we could even find her. Bad service. Bad food. Definitely not worth the price. Save yourself the poor experience and go somewhere better."
