"The first time I tried Allegory was in late Dec 2021 and ordered their shrimp grits and it was the optimal balance of shrimp (5) to grits. I recently ordered the shrimp grits again in late June 2022 but this time during dinner (to-go) but was not made aware that there was going to be an additional 4 shrimp to the dinner portion with a moderate price upcharge. I still enjoyed the shrimp grits but the blackened seasoning this time around was on the more salty side, but still enjoyable. However, I felt that there should have been just a bit more grits added with the now 9 pieces of shrimp. One thing I do have to say is that the grits was on-point. It was creamy and firm, the way I enjoy them. Ill definitely be back but I might suggest that if additional shrimp is added, the host just mention that cause I believe the 5 shrimp is plenty (sometimes less is better). Still a wonderful farm-to-table experience from one who lives in the city."
