"The Japanese delicacies at this restaurant are delicious, beautifully presented, and visually stunning. I’ve never had a grilled salmon avocado salad that tasted this good before. It was served in a lovely deep bowl filled with a bed of spinach, fresh green ingredients, avocados, diced mango, and topped with sesame seeds. The rest of the family enjoyed the Shrimp Bento Box, shrimp tempura, and shrimp shumai, all of which were delightful. If you live nearby, do yourself a favor and try everything from Asian Fusion. The North Bergen location has a cozy and inviting atmosphere as well. Plus, the food is flavorful without being heavy!"

"Tried this place for the first time last night because it was close to the theatre and we were in the city for a show. We ended up getting there later than we expected so we had less than 30 mins to eat and leave. We expressed that to the workers and boy did they exceed my expectations. Everyone was so attentive and the service was excellent. The food was good too. The pasta was cooked to perfection. Not to mention the atmosphere is nice. We had drinks, appetizers, and a main course in under 30 mins and made it to our show just in time. I will definitely be coming back here. :"

"One of my favorite local restaurants because of their amazing food and drinks. I normally order a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board, but I wanted to try something different this time. My sister got a lemon drop mocktail which was a little sour, but just the right amount. She said it was delicious I had the Penelope Pussycat which had Bacoo 8 year aged rum, Liqueur de Violette, and lemon juice. The drink had such a pretty color and had an interesting flavor to it as well!For appetizers, we had the Gambas al Aljillo which had a nice corn salsa to go along with it. We also had the Roasted Cauliflower which was cooked perfectly and the Beef Kushiyaki which came with chilled soba noodles. The Beef Kushiyaki was something so unique that I would not have thought I was in a wine bar. It was so flavorful! For our entree we got the Black Truffl'd Fettucine. The pasta was a bit bland, and I was surprised because I usually always order that pasta and it's my favorite. I think the sauce might have been a bit watered down. For dessert we had some tea and the Meritagewich' which comes with homemade chocolate chip cookies. The tea and dessert was perfect for a cold day!I definitely recommend trying this place out with a few friends and ordering a bunch of small plates to share. This way you can try a bit of everything. I really loved every single small plate we ordered! Thank you so much to the staff that made our experience a pleasant one"

"Location is beautiful. We were lucky enough to get a window seat in the corner. I don’t think they had enough staff on for the amount of guests that were in the building as we were always looking for our waitress if we needed something. She didn’t stop by to see if we needed anything. The food was very tasty although I have to say their “bowl” of soup is more of a glorified cup. A little surprising given the price. It was a very hot day so I expected it to be a little cooler inside than it was. Maybe because we were in the corner surrounded by windows it kept it warmer. They have a gravel parking lot across the street so we were able to park with no problems. We had a pleasant experience none the less and although I don’t live in the area I will come back if down that way. Maybe not on a weekend."

"Came here for lunch on a saturday mainly because it's dog friendly. Got there around 230pm they sat us at a high chair area and that would have not worked well with our dog. So we asked them if we could get a bench. They said they would put us back on the list. So we sit outside and wait, and wait, and wait. It's almost 4pm and we see a BUNCH of tables open. We waited an hour just for a bench even though there was a bunch available. Very frustrating. When we finally sat down our server was very nicr and attentive. We were super hungry at that point so got a pretzel and out entrees ordered. I got the pierogi with kielbasa. My bf got the chopped beef sandwich. So the pretzel was DELICIOUS. I would order 3 of those, plus the beer cheese sauce yum. Everything else to me was meh. Pierogis were too much and not that good. It was a lot on the plate that didnt work well. So we orderes the tator tots as well loaded. Those were okay, kind of soggy but good flavor at least. The pretzel to me was the best thing and if we came back that's all i'd get. My boyfriend loved his sandwich and most of the food. The rose I got was deliciois. Atmosphere was okay, very loud with games and things going on. But lots of pups so love that Overall its a meh for me. i'd only ever go back for the pretzel and rose. It's also in a sketch neighborhood. Wouldn't feel safe going at night. Was an adventure overall."

"someone on the table next to us put on the floor and nobody noticed. we had to make the employees aware and after 5-10 minutes someone came back with a scary to us so we could go. the manager offered us a free dessert for the inconvenience that was so unprofessional for this type of disorder during our dinner. our server was amazing all the time and offered to complete the entire evening meal. the manager seemed like he had no idea what he was doing."

"Just received take out... menu description..wild boar and ground beef meatloaf and fries smothered in a rich creamy mushroom sauce received overdone dry small pieces with burnt French fries in a sauce that was watery with oil floating on top minus mushroom also ordered 14 dry Cajun Buffalo bites they managed to cram all 14 into a half quart takeout bowl so they were all smashed together and just awful super bummed as I like to support local but won't go back the one star was for the side of blue cheese ...oh and they forgot the celery as described in menu"

"Had a lovely dinner this evening. The food waa fresh, seasoned well and light. Not sure what was my favorite, shared 3 appetizers, 1 entree, 1 dessert and cocktails. I highly recommend the French rice pudding, souffle, and red snapper. Also our waitress and the owner were kind and helpful in leading us to these tasty choices. "It 's a decent enough place for lunch, but nothing we tried was anything better than OK level. The spicy crab soup was too spicy it overwhelmed the generous amount of crab it contained. The buffalo chicken wrap tasted odd I didn 't finish it. The crab cake sandwich was passable, as was the Hunter chicken sandwich though my wife was particularly happy with the burrata cheese on top of it. Fries were pretty good. The staff was nice and reasonably attentive, but overall I probably wouldn 't return unless it were just the most convenient option."

"The restaurant was quite bustling and noisy during our visit, giving it more of a bar vibe than a traditional dining atmosphere. We were seated in the back section. The service was quick and friendly. They offer an impressive selection of Belgian beers. The food was excellent; we tried the carbonade à la flamande (beef stew) and the roast chicken. The chicken was tender and flavorful, while the stew was enjoyable but didn't quite capture the authentic taste of the carbonade we loved in Belgium. Additionally, it contained prunes, which I had never encountered in this Belgian dish before. Both dishes were served with delicious frites. Overall, it was a very positive experience."

"I spent Saturday afternoon celebrating a birthday at this restaurant, and I have to say, our waitress Victoria was absolutely wonderful. I had initially reserved a table outside, but I wanted to expand our space to accommodate more guests. She promptly took care of it and set aside additional tables for us. Throughout the day, various people arrived and ordered at different times, but Victoria handled it all seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"we went to dinner on a busy Sunday night. the bar drinks were not acceptable, the old fashion was one of the worst I ever had. the selection of spirits and beer was incredibly disappointing for a high-end restaurant. wobbles soup was ordered by our friends and they enjoyed it. we had a cove burger with fries that was really good and was not good at all, the meat was grizzly and the taste was not remarkable. the chocolate chip cookie with pistazieneis for dessert was excellent. overall the evening was a disappointing eating wise. I had very high expectations to this restaurant and was disappointed. it is possible that we visit in one night."

Some of the appetizers, like the calamari and coconut shrimp, were enjoyable. The flatbread pizza was mediocre. The timing for serving the dishes was inconsistent. Our server was young and lacked experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we particularly enjoyed the live music, which was a deciding factor in choosing this restaurant. Despite making a special request to one of the managers for a birthday dessert for my wife's 60th birthday, we were disappointed when nothing was done."

"HCK used to feel like home. It was one of my favorite spots to hang, eat, drink and listen to great live music. MY, have things changed! The spot shows visible signs of wear and tear on the interior. The service was good. They were out of almost every beer on tap. The liquor selection is slight. The bartender/server couldn't make the first drink I ordered FROM THE MENU because they were out of the ingredients. The food menu is an embarrassment to real food menus everywhere. I ordered fries, cause you can't go wrong with fries, right? WRONG! The fries tasted like the fried pickles my friend ordered! We came back for nostalgia sake, thinking we'd catch a glimpse of the old HCK. Sadly, you can't go home again!Vegetarian options: There are not many, if any, vegetarian options. Because of my experience, I do not trust they would be careful with cross-contamination.Parking: HCK is in a residential neighborhood. Therefore, parking is extremely difficult to find. Pay close attention to street signs and beware of hidden driveways!Kid-friendliness: I would not bring my children to this place.Wheelchair accessibility: HCK is a small spot. The main entrance has a very high, very dangerous step up. There is a side entrance I believe is too narrow for a wheelchair. And it would be too difficult to maneuver around inside."

"The food was delicious and there was ample parking at the restaurant. The service was excellent. It had been a few years since my last visit and I remembered when it was a small place on the main road in Westport. It has definitely changed over the years. On a Wednesday night, the place was very empty. I had the teriyaki beef with plenty of broccoli and a side of brown rice, which was all very good. We also ordered the pad Thai with shrimp, which was also delicious. For appetizers, we enjoyed vegetable spring rolls. The tea was charged at $3, which was different from when most Chinese restaurants used to offer it for free. We had a coupon where if we spent $20, we could get the second entree free, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant."
