"At the end of our visit to NYC last week, we wanted to sample a trendy Italian restaurant within minutes of our hotel and Nitti's was the choice. They did not disappoint. I will say that all the windows to the patio area were open, and after a rainy few days, it was still very humid and warm. However, the manager (Bless him) came to my rescue and suggested a table in line with one of their circulating fans. The food and atmosphere were very good. We had Pasta Alfredo (specially made for my husband it's not on the regular menu), Veal Sorrentino and a nice house Malbec. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and a great conversation with the manager about Italy and it's food. Good job and thanks you."

The overall experience was fine. The artichoke appetizer was so chewy and hard it was not easy to eat. Flavor was good. Rest of the meal was ok. View menu

If I lived in NYC, I'd be here all the time. Was in the city for three nights and ate here every night. THAT GOOD. Perfect vibes. Outstanding food and drinks.

I came here yesterday night for a dinner, my family just came to visit me from UK so I wanted to impress them. We found this restaurant and decided to try it. Everything was nice and I loved the service, everyone was so attentive and helpful. Andrea give us great recommendations about wines and food. I had an amazing time with my family here. Thank you: View menu

I was there a while ago with my friends and everything was good (service and food was so delicious) so we decided to go back again, me and my friend. The food was good as always but one of the guys (I don’t know if he was the manager or a server) came to ask how everything was going and I said “it’s so good thank you sir”. He turned back to me with a harsh tone saying “Don’t call me sir, I am still young”, which was very rude. After that I felt so bad because I went there with my friend after a long day at work to enjoy some delicious food, but turned out to be the reason I won’t go there anymore after that bad behavior.

The ability to be so rude and disrespectful to your customers is beyond me. Their website proudly offers Happy Hour food and drinks and we've enjoyed them 3-4 times before but this time when I asked for the happy hour food menu we were told, there is no happy hour food menu to which I replied, it's prominently displayed on your website... The bartender snaps back, I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT... We got up I saw the manager asked him he stated that there is no hh menu then chased me onto the street to demand I pay for the sparkling water I ordered ? I told him what he could do w the water... Sad, we really liked that place.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
