"My husband and I took some clients for a business dinner as they have never been here before. Mind you this bill totaled $600 at the end of our meal. Certainly not cheap for a strip mall location. We were NOT down on 5th Avenue or 3rd Street but we knew that going in. We wanted to take them someplace they’ve never been. We all ordered steaks one well-done, one medium well, and two medium. Thinking this is a Steakhouse, we assumed that they could do the temperatures to our liking and get them right. That was not the case. Another person brought our meals so he had no idea which ones went to which people which I thought was ridiculous. We had to sit there and tell him where to put each plate. We were told they came with mashed potatoes but instead they had some kind of potato wedges. My one guest said “Where’s my mashed potatoes?” and the waitress said “oh we were out of them”, but never asked us if we wanted a replacement of something different before she brought out what she did. My steak tasted like sawdust I couldn’t even cut it. The waitress came by and seemed angry that I wanted to send it back. I would have just said don’t make me another one but I was really looking forward to a good steak. Considering the steak is $75 I would think that it would’ve been right in the first place? They brought the steak back for a second time and it was rare. Almost **** rate, the manager stood over me while I cut it and I said that he could just take it back because the other three people had already almost finished their meal at this point.Gaga was our waitress, and she seemed very annoyed the whole time. My husband wanting to be taken care of gave her a $20 bill from the start. We never got an apology on our steaks and they had left it on the bill. She came over and brought us one piece of Tiramisu for the four of us to share which I guess she thought would make up for the $75 steak.Definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone and I think their prices are out of line. I’m happy to pay for a good steak but with that kind of treatment and service it won’t be here. Very sad that a manager doesn’t even compensate someone back or even apologize."

"I have been missing the food and atmosphere in Waikiki lately, and this place truly brought me back to the relaxing ocean breeze, comfort food, and tropical vibes of Hawaii! I had a lovely time here with my family, and we all loved the food, drinks, and service! Shoutout to Danielle for being such a wonderful server. FOOD Chicken lettuce wraps: These were a bit messy to eat but very good! The lettuce was very fresh and was a great way to start our meal. Papaya salad: We LOVED this dish!! The balance between the greens, papaya, lychee, and macadamia nuts was so delightful and refreshing. Hawaiian Mochiko chicken: The chicken was so tender and well seasoned! The veggies on the side were also great, and my grandma really enjoyed the healthy option. DRINKS Mermaid's Kiss: This drink was refreshing and strong! It wasn't super sweet, which was perfect. Painkiller: This drink was also pretty strong, and I really enjoyed it! Would highly recommend ordering both of these drinks. SERVICE The service here is amazing, and what I was most impressed by is that they knew we would be doing family style rather than having individual entrees. They brought out extra plates for us, no questions asked. It made me feel that the staff here are culturally competent and mindful, and I really appreciated that! Thank you for a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back!"

"My best friend and I stumbled upon this very upscale but casual restaurant overlooking shellburne falls! I wish I could bring this place and all the staff back to New Haven, CT because it would be THE SPOT to go. We’re loved the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything. I couldn’t even scrounge up something negative to say. We sat at the beautiful bar and had the absolute pleasure of meeting the bartender, Casey. SHE IS PERFECTION! Don’t ever let her go and if you do….. send her to New Haven CT. We left with full bellies, full hearts, and definitely a stack of desserts to go!!!! Let’s get into the food:We started off with the crispy polenta, which tasted like a crispy, crunchy garlicky polenta egg soufflé… It was absolutely FAHKING heaven. We also shared a really fresh beet salad with walnuts and goat cheese, and a tangy citrus dressing. It was kind of standard, but it was also absolutely perfect and delicious roughage. Then for dinner, my friend Eliza had the rack of lamb that was cooked, perfectly medium rare, and it was laying on top of the creamiest, mashed potatoes and other sautéed veggies. I had the swordfish, which I have never had before, in my entire life, and it was pretty mind blowing, the fish slathered in this creamy basil lemon sauce and served over basmati rice. SO GOOD!!!! We didn’t have the opportunity to take photos of the food because we were too busy shoving it down our faces! If you’re ever in the area, this place is a must go to! They are local. They support local. And if I was local I’d be there weekly!"
