"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"Nice, but not for my taste. Also the menu changes not necessarily what’s on line. Service was friendly and fine Ambiance meh. I guess this is renovated. Seemed relatively monochromatic definitely not any design features that stand out. Starter had the calamari. I’d give 3/5 I prefer my calamari lighter. These were quite chewy. Unsure about the kidney beans. Wasn’t bad, but different not to my taste. Bread the rosemary focaccia was amazing! 5/5. The pesto was good as well and enhanced the bread, but it could stand alone. Entrée had the Chilean sea bass 4/5. Super technical preparation probably had 10 unique preparations to build the plate. Presentation was great. Some worked together, some didn’t. I think this is based on personal taste. I really liked the panko burrata usually not a fan of burrata. The fish was excellent. Other diners plates looked really nice as well. Dessert Millionaire Shortbread 2/5. Shortbread was way too hard. Tasted fine, but couldn’t be cut with side of fork (and didn’t get a knife for dessert service). The caramel was more sweet than flavorful and the chocolate ganache was more like syrup."

"On Monday evening, we decided to meet at this restaurant and chose to sit at the bar. There weren’t many patrons, as this place seems to cater more to the lunchtime crowd. One great feature is that happy hour runs until 8 PM, which offers a variety of options. We started with the whistle with wine sauce, which turned out to be quite good, more like a creamy wine sauce. We then shared the seafood risotto and the salmon penne. While the seafood risotto was tasty, the salmon penne was absolutely excellent, featuring a rich vodka sauce and delicate salmon. The wine selection was decent, and our server was very attentive, checking in with us regularly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience."

"Went here to celebrate our anniversary! My husband and I were impressed by the decor and the intimate atmosphere. Our server was amazing! We tried the bison tostadas, seriously you will not regret it! There wine selection was nice and the servers were knowledgeable. We also had the ravioli (one of the best) and the seafood cioppino. One of the best dining experiences in Milwaukee! Also the waitress suggested the bundino (almost had to order another one). Seriously just go, you will not be dissapointed!"
