"This charming restaurant is tucked away in a shopping area with "DINER" on the facade and signs in the front windows. The owner welcomed us warmly, seating us and engaging in friendly conversation. The walls are adorned with surfboards and surfing photos, creating a laid-back atmosphere where the staff, dressed in casual clothes, provide excellent service. Our server, Dave, was attentive and provided detailed descriptions of the specials that left our mouths watering. The menu, although small, offered a variety of interesting options. I enjoyed a delicious appetizer of melted Brie on a bed of bib lettuce with fresh fruits and berries, followed by crunchy Louisiana-style oysters over risotto and asparagus. Other guests raved about the pork schnitzel and pork tenderloin with an Asian sauce. The desserts, listed on chalkboards, were all tempting and well-described. We ended our meal with a bread pudding served with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and vanilla bean ice cream. The entire experience was delightful, thanks to the chef and staff. Parking is available in the strip mall lot, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible on one level."
