"Okay first of all, anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars probably puts ketchup on their steak. With that said, this food is literally top notch. It's incredible. I get the chicken tikka masala everytime with the chicken Tikka Naan, delicious is not even enough to describe this food. And I normally always have to order it from grubhub, and it still comes hot and delicious. I would love to try it fresh someday. I have had a phone conversation with the owner when ordering, and he is extremely polite and just seems like an awesome person. He helped describe things to me, didn't rush me and made sure I knew all about the food I was ordering. Top notch guy and top notch food. Eat here. Oh, and if the price kinda throws you off just know that the portion sizes are massive. If you look at the photo I posted you will understand. This is more than enough for 2 people."

"The majestic chicken, mysore bonda with 2 different Chutneys were delicious and yumm. I can order them again when I'm here. Cut mechi, Lamb biriyani were also good. Mango Lassi was moderately sweet in contrast to other Indian restaurants that give you diabetes in a sip. The waiters can be friendly, wear a smile. The place was busy in a weekend, but the service was fast. I'd say one of the best Indian restaurants in Austin MSA."

"Le Mirch was an unexpected and totally amazing gem of a discovery! I had friends in town over the weekend and we were unable to eat at a known restaurant. After looking up top ten Indian restaurants, we settled on Le Mirch…which I have never visited before. And to say that it totally exceeded our greatest expectations is the understatement of the year!!! It is now on my short list of top five DC area restaurants and we can not recommend it highly enough!!! The food and service are incomparable, and although it is small and not in the best structural space…you will very likely not notice or care"

"I visited this restaurant for the buffet, and it exceeded my expectations! They offer all my favorite Indian dishes, and the best part is that it's unlimited! Make sure to come with an appetite! The curries, tandoori, masala, korma, and more were all delicious. The sauces paired with the rice were particularly flavorful. They also had vegetables like sautéed okra and sweet and tangy breaded cauliflower, both of which were fantastic! For dessert, I tried the mango mousse; it was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but it was smooth and delightful. I'm also a big fan of their Indian tea—it’s a must-try! The service was efficient; our drinks arrived quickly, and they were always prompt about clearing away our used plates. I highly recommend this place!"

"We went for restaurant week, where most participating restaurants have a fixed-price 3 course meal where you pick from a few options for each course. Nama on the other hand, gave you a little bit of everything on the menu, which was a nice surprise. There was certainly a lot of food for a reasonable price. The appetizers (a fried cauliflower, tomato cream soup and naan) were all quite tasty. The main courses (a paneer dish, butter chicken and a lentil dish) all were a little bland. They had some spices and flavoring, but not at the intensity we'd expect from an Indian restaurant. I'm not sure if it was jut the restaurant week menu or what, but it's almost like they were catering their dishes to people new to and unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. They didn't ask for a heat level when we ordered, either. The flavors were good, but just felt a little flat and underdeveloped. With ~25% more seasoning I think it could be quite good. I haven't written it off completely yet, but there are several very good Indian places in the city so it wouldn't necessarily be my first pick."

"During our vacation trip from Canada, my family and I enjoyed dining at this restaurant for dinner. The ambiance was superb, and our server displayed exceptional politeness and friendliness. Acting on our server's recommendations, we tried a couple of highly recommended dishes, and they exceeded our expectations. Notably, the restaurant offers Halal food, a detail that wasn't explicitly mentioned but is worth highlighting. I suggest the restaurant management consider incorporating this Halal aspect into their marketing efforts. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant."

"I ordered the soup, and it was decent, but nothing special. It wasn't too strong in flavor, which I appreciated. The other dish was a fish fillet served with rice. The portion was quite generous, moderately spicy, and came with a good amount of rice, though there could have been more fish. They provided fresh water, but it was just regular tap water with an unappealing taste. When I requested mineral water instead ($2), they brought me a small plastic bottle of regular spring water for $1."

"I recently tried some dishes from Adaraka and I was blown away by how delicious they were. I ordered the Rogan Josh, chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, garlic naan, and peshwari naan, and all of them were excellent. I had trouble finding peshwari naan in the USA, but Adaraka had it on their menu and it was a delightful surprise. The Rogan Josh was a new dish for me, but if it's always as good as it was here, I'll definitely be ordering it again. The chicken tikka masala was fantastic as always. I placed my order online and was initially told it would take 20 minutes, but I received an email alert saying it would be 45 minutes. However, I was pleasantly surprised when my order was ready in just 25 minutes when I arrived at the restaurant. I was able to find convenient street parking right in front of the entrance. If you enjoy Americanized Indian cuisine, I highly recommend giving Adaraka a try!"

"I would say I am well versed in Indian food, cook it at home, eaten it my entire life, have visited India with all of that said here is my frank review of this establishment. 1. The menus are broad which is great 2. The food is less than buffet level food at best 2a. When you pay for food in the non buffet dining hours, there is an expectation the quality increases as do the prices. 3. When water is placed on the table, and it is bottled water, and the waiter and host DO NOT tell you they will charge you for it I have a problem. 4. We ordered Pani Puri, didn't match the images on the website. Was bland and no depth of flavor. Also didn't have sufficient toppings which is typical when you order this dish. 5. We ordered Samosa Chaat, a fave we order in every city we go to struggled to find the Samosa and had insufficient toppings. 6. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, the sauce was overly sweet and the dish was soggy reminiscent of precooked and microwaved style meals. 7. The mint chutney tasted watered down and bland. Like it was from a bottle and then watered down again. Highlights were the waiter, who was pleasant. Although he wasn't the guy who ran the nightclub style music (poor choice of music for a dining establishment btw) Waiter wore a mask. The Chai was good ALTHOUGH I had asked for it to NOT have any sugar. It was presweetened. Slap! There has to be better Indian Cuisine in Albany surely! Do yourself a favor and try some other great joints in town. Indian or otherwise. I know the good people of Albany can't see this as the standard for Indian Cuisine. ALSO the checker took the water off after he tried to argue with me about COVID and the need to give bottled water. This wasn't my issue, being told upon giving me the water is when I want to be told there is an associated cost. And to boot, he charged me for 4 bottles when we only had 2."

"The gallery on the website is very deceiving. We had reservations on a Saturday night for dinner but didn't need them. Only 3 other customers (2 tables) when e arrived. Another couple came in later. They appeared to be doing a steady carry-out business. The guy tending the tables barely had time. The food was actually pretty good. We started with the Gobi Manchurian Bites, or fried cauliflower. It was tasty and the portion was large. Their garlic naan was delicious. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my husband had the Shrimp Masala. Both were very good. Our complaint was with the service and the ambiance. While the decor was fine, it was very uncomfortable (awkward) feeling. When I asked for music, they scurried around a bit and then said they couldn't get it to work. Another customer came in and wanted to order the Tandoor Fish that is seen on the gallery. They had no fish except shrimp. He left. There was a small table with carry-out containers and we helped ourselves for our leftovers. There was no bill brought to the table. We had to go to the counter to pay. Tab was $51+. Still wondering why we added a tip!"

"One of the top 5 restaurants ever that I had the honor privilege to experience, in my entire Life— and my dining reservation album includes rare venerable gems of culinary collusions from all over the globe. This was my 2nd time here for supper, and every facet was exquisite— just like time #1 … the quality presentation of the food, the atmosphere, the service … impeccable, charming, comforting. "I visited this restaurant again yesterday, marking my second experience there since my first visit was before the pandemic. I felt compelled to share my thoughts. "Hello We went on Valentine’s Day made reservations and when we reached the staff is not available to greet and once someone did come it did not matter if we had or did not have reservations. After getting seated it took them 25 min to even get someone to get our order. It was horrible! I understand it was a busy day but their were not enough waiters to manage the place, they were bringing wrong orders to every table around us , and not just once but 4 times. Food over all was ok . I would rather go to Blue India . Sorry but I was not at all impressed"
