"Excellent Indian restaurant. Cloth napkins and tablecloths. Wonderful, but not hovering service. Quiet and relaxing environment. We mentioned we were relatively new to Indian cuisine--my date likes mild, I like spicy. They were very helpful in describing and recommending dishes that accommodated both our tastes preferences. Good value, too. Relatively inexpensive plus we both walked out with dogie bags.. It's a bit difficult to find--tucked away in one of the endless Army Trail Rd. strip malls--but well worth searching it out. We will definitely be going back."

"So my girlfriend and I have now been here twice. Both times now we had Sam (server) twice. Two months since we last visited and he remembered us! He was amazing! He’s extremely personable with his guests and makes you feel welcomed and not like a guest! He recommended some delicious food and cocktails too. "I came here for Mother’s Day, and it was disappointing. Seems the restaurant had trouble keeping up with the capacity or was unprepared. The food was bland and the deserts were limited. I have been here before on a non-holiday and it was excellent! This time, they bought cake from the grocery store versus variety traditional Indian dessert-lots of paper plates, cups and utensils. It felt like the emphasis was more about turning tables than holding the quality standard I know this restaurant is capable of. For $35 per person buffet, I think they could have done much better. Staff was great but overwhelmed. I suggest NOT going on a major holiday."

"I ordered the butter chicken along with garlic naan. One thing I appreciate about this place is that they serve rice with their main dishes, and they'll bring you an extra order of rice if you ask. Overall, I enjoyed the food—it had just the right amount of spice and was served quickly. However, I found the butter chicken had a bit too much tomato sauce for my liking, and it wasn't the texture I prefer. Despite that, I would definitely return since it's so close to home. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit!"

Chicken Dum Biryani $16.95 Spicy $0.25 HEFTY!! Great for the price. The chicken is bone on, but that so it adds flavor. The spice is right for sure! I would say this is like Indian fried rice . Lots of flavor lots of stuff really really good. I chose the spiciest version and it 's the perfect amount of heat if you like spicy. A little too hot for him, but I really enjoyed it. Saag Aloo curry ALU $17.95 Medium $0.00 By far my favorite. Yes it 's green, but if you like spinach and potatoes, you 're gonna love it. Good portion here as well. Aloo Kale Tikki 3 Pcs $6.95 I wasn 't the biggest fan of these. They are sweet in flavor. My boyfriend really liked them. They 're little potato and kale patties with a type of chutney esque sauce on top. You get three to an order, which is a little up there. We did a take out order, and picked it up. Inside was nice and smelled great. You can sit down or take out, there are servers if you want to dine in. The owner who gave us our order was extremely personable and helpful! I think we found another great Indian spot! The only downside is that it 's more expensive than our usual place. It is also odd that they charge more for spice level, but we did like it a lot. I know that this type of cuisine takes an eternity to make, and there are a lot of ingredients but it is certainly up there price wise."

"Delicious. Just wanted to note that they have three separate locations. It's just a preference of mine but I find the Michigan location with better tasting food. This is not to say that the other locations don't prepare the food well, they most certainly do and there are no issues. On-site parking at all locations is a pain unless you're just there for delivery pick-up. Prepare to take public transportation if you want the dine in experience. This place is really pricey for my taste but for a craving once in a while it's worth it. If you order from their website they sometimes offer discounts just for it being an online order. Uber eats offers a thing where if you order a number of times your last order will be free, which is also nice. Highly recommend it if you are new to Indian and Nepalese cuisine."

"As far as Indian cuisine eatery goes, it's alright. It's not quite what you would expect in a true British Indian, but not bad for the US. Food was average to good, my lamb rogan josh was actually very tasty, not spicy but tasty. However, my wife's vegetable curry was too bland, no spicy or heat in it whatsoever! Would I go back, not really. If I was dragged along by some friends, I would happily join too though."

"My friend and I had a wonderful time at Zayka! We came earlier than our reservation and were able to sit immediately! Our server was very accommodating and we enjoyed everything we ordered from wine to food! There are so many great gluten free options and everything was wonderfully fresh and well prepared. I def recommend the mulligatawny chicken soup as well as the bullet naan. The best part of our experience besides the food was jamming to the fantastic music they had playing in the dining room! "buyer intention! not allergy friendly! we ordered us yesterday by door dash and was wasted $40 on eating that was indelible. my family has a milk allergy and I clearly demand in my order that every product gluten-free, vegan and mild. when I got the order, I thought it looked suspicious, so I called to check and safe enough these dishes included milk! also the fertile piclau was ice cold as if they forget to heat the dish before they send (which also means that they probably microwave to go food in styrofoam first I thought the fertile piclau should be served chilled, but the keerl on the phone nandu confirmed that it should have been heated and also confirmed that despite my requirements contain more milk. he was quite abrupt and has not apologized or offered to correct any of the mistakes. as if he just wanted me from the phone and it didn't matter that they ruined our dinner, wasted our money and made my family very sick by including milk in our food, despite the notes on the order. that a dish that allegedly contained no milk was the mushroom mother, but even this was disappointing when the veggies tasted as they came out of doses and it was very spicy for a court that was asked mildly. so many problems with this order, makes me wonder everything about this restaurant. if they are not careful with preparation of food, how cautious are they when they clean and sanitate their kitchen? I'm completely dissatisfied with eating and customer service. I was not offered a refund or a refund or even an apology! such a frustrating experience and a total waste of time and money."

"Went here for dinner, and had two entrees to share as well as an order of Samosa. The Samosa was delicious, especially the spice mix they dusted the outside with, and the chutneys were so bright and the flavor was incredible. The entrees I tried were the Chana Masala and Bhuteko Kauli which is a cauliflower dish with Nepalese spices. Both were surprisingly light and the flavors of the Bhutako were so vibrant. Unfortunately the waiter wasn't knowledgeable about which items were vegan and there was a language barrier for sure. He asked a colleague and they brought a menu that they had circled the vegan options on which was very nice, but I wish I had looked at the menu online because there were more options, and they were clearly marked. Too bad; missed opportunity for sure."

"Ambrosia is about as good and Indian cuisine that you could ask for in this vicinity. The Garlic Naan is super buttery. The Samosas are large and flavorful. "I've been in the USA for 7 years and have never experienced such a bad hospitality in one of the US rehabilitators. This is the worst restorer for hospitality. Here's what happened to me when I visited Pickles to brunch today (i.e. 2/1/2014). I went to this restorer on Saturday at 11:30. I was very hungry. I sat in a place. Server came and gave me the menu. He did not turn up to 10 minutes, so I called him and ordered “Uttapam” and tea, I told him that he served me tea after uttapam. Without warning me that uttapam takes 30 minutes to prepare that he went in and gave the order. I was in the impression that I got uttapam in 5 or 10 minutes. After 5 minutes he came and served me tea. I told him I can't do it until I finish uttapam. He took it in. I waited for uttapam for 15 mintues, and meanwhile I realized that the buffet started for lunch. Since I did not get my uttapam and I was very hungry, I told the server to cancel uttapam and I will take the buffet. He went in and came after a few minutes and told me that uttapam is on the grill. But I told him to cancel the Uttapam since I had lunch. He didn't say anything, and I went on with my lunch. After some time he bought Uttapam. I was shocked to see Uttapam in my place. He even waited for me before he put uttapam on my table. He laid uttapam and went. When I saw uttapam on my table, I was shocked. I called the server and asked him why he set it when I canceled it. Then he started telling me that as soon as any article is on the grill, we can't cancel it. When I asked him why you told me that when I asked him to quit. When I started my lunch, you ask me to take both. When I started with this server, the owner of the restorer Mr.Nageshware Rao heard our conversation and he began to arguring with me. He told me you ordered it and if it's on the grill, you have to take it, there's no other way. When I told him that your server did not inform me that I must accept the order when it is on the grill. He wasn't able to listen to me at all. When I told him I'm going to review it. He got angry and asked me if I threatened him. I said yes, I'm threatening because you didn't really tell me about the order. Then he lifted his pitch and told me, "I don't care about your damn review, go and do what you want." I was surprised and shocked to hear that. I mean in India there is a saying “Atiti Devo Bava” means “Guest is like God”. Here I see a person who is the owner of the restaurant and when I went there as a paying guest, he humiliated me with such a excitement, I never decided to go this place again in my whole life. Finally, I pay both for uttapam and for lunch buffet. I mean, we go to restaurants to have some rest, but here I see a restaurant that gives you more stress than peace."
