"I recently dined at Bombay Spice and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the area, if not the best. The vada pav was hands down the tastiest I have ever had in all the NJ restaurants I have eaten in. The flavors were rich, authentic and perfectly balanced. What really stood out to me was the excellent presentation skills. Each dish was beautifully arranged and garnished, making it not only visually appealing but also appetizing. The restaurant has an excellent ambience with painstaking attention to detail. The decor is elegant and inviting, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy.Furthermore, all the items we ordered were incredibly tasty. The menu offered a wide variety of Indian delicacies, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff was also very courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.Overall, I highly recommend Bombay Spice to anyone looking for a fantastic Indian dining experience. The food, service, presentation, and ambience are all top notch. If you're a foodie or simply appreciate good food, you must visit Bombay Spice you won't be disappointed! I would give it a 5 star rating without hesitation.Vegetarian options: Easy to find options for vegetariansParking: It has probably 10 spots so might be difficult to find parking on a busy Saturday night"

"We went here as early Valentine's Day dinner and were really impressed. The drinks were a little expensive and extravagant then used, but over the whole dinner for two was not excessive The food and service was amazing. The seafood stew was one of the best dishes I ever had. We really enjoyed the super cozy atmosphere. especially my friend, who is always cold, loved all the fireplaces. 10 of 10"

"My family and I had been eager to try this restaurant ever since they relocated. It appears to be a family-owned establishment that has expanded in size. The interior seating was cramped and close to other diners, with the air conditioning off and only fans providing ventilation. There was a noticeable unpleasant smell in the air, accompanied by an abundance of flies and fruit flies. We were mainly interested in trying their dosa and sambhar. We ordered masur masala, masala dosa, and some appetizers. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the quality of the food. The dosas were undercooked and too small, while the sambhar lacked authenticity and was too watery. We would rather dine at another restaurant in Buffalo Grove, just 15 minutes away. We will not be returning to this restaurant, as the lack of authentic taste was a major letdown for us."

"Can't beat a great buffet, 2 soft drinks and tip for $30. I went all vegetarian on this one and everything was delicious. More fresh vegetables for the salad section would be a welcomed addition. There are several Indian uses for cucumber (which they had there) to make appetizing salads. A little pickling and curry and they would make that part of the buffet equally as appetizing and the rest. BTW, dessert was included with the Buffet, but I did not over indulge. Overall really good, especially for the price and variety of dishes. J,"

"The old man in front was very grumpy and not friendly, Inside was too hot, toilet was super dirty, they misspelled Malbec wine with “Malbac”, I told this grumpy man about misspelling and he seemed very angry about that saying that are working on it, such a shame. Food were ok by the way."

"Saffron Garden is one of the best preserved secrets in this area. Your new menu offers a long list of delicious appetizers and entrees served with integrity and good taste, and I always make sure to bring my guest friends and family here so that they can leave New York with a culinary experience they can never forget. In my experience, the cook was ready to accommodate the taste, preferences and limitations of the diet of its guests."

"I love going to Indian restaurants when they label the vegan items! This place does just that!!! Thank you!!! In the menu introduction there is devoted language to vegetarian food- yes! So, though not a veg place, if I want vegan Indian food in Bethesda I will come here. As for the people and the decor- lovely attentive people. The chef came to chat with me a couple times to see if I had questions or concerns and how the food tasted. Nice touch Chef Anil! All my vegan concerns were addressed, which is more than I can actually say for some other area vegetarian establishments that make me feel out of place! It's decor is new and fresh, not heavy or antiquated. While here, I felt that everything was made freshly. Nothing was cold or old in flavor. The mulligatawny soup was a piping hot delicious blended lentil soup that hit the spot to set the tone for the meal. Pakora are usually only mediocre at best, but these were like crispy deep fried battered spinach popcorn! Try it! The samosas had a hearty filling with more depth than most. The curries are good, but they always feel heavy- here though, they do not over salt like some other places. The one thing that didn't agree with my palate was the dosa. I liked that they are all vegan, but I think the one I picked maybe was not the right one, and, well, the dosa part was a bit bland. I also wish there was a vegan spinach entree on the menu, but I believe if I asked, the chef would've made it vegan!!! Overall, as an Indian restaurant with vegan options, it's a great choice. You can be confident that what you order will be vegan. Because it had meat, 4 cow max, but I can't say they're perfect- yet. As a new restaurant, with time, I may return and love the dosas and ask for spinach! Then maybe 4 cows will be met!"

"We were invited to a kid's birthday party at this restaurant and I had never heard of this place before. Walking in, we were the only family in the restaurant granted that it was early Sunday morning. There was a buffet. The tables had old grills on themthat should definitely be removed if they're not planning on opening the barbecue part of the restaurant. Or, there should benice covers on them because the grills look a little old. The food set up is in nice big pots and there was a variety of dishesfrom Indo-Chinese to Mughal items. There is also a lot of vegetarian options as well. Everything was so tasty and surprising. The butter chicken and chicken manchuria was scrumptious. The naan was served hot on our tables. The kids enjoyed the Lassidrinks and the adults enjoyed the chai. It was a little sweet for my taste so ask them to put a little less sugar. I'm writingthis review after 3 days just make sure I didn't get sick from the food which can happen at most desi restaurants. I woulddefinitely come back here for the food!"

"This is not my top choice for curry, but it was quite tasty. I was hoping for more flavor in the Garlic Naan. The spicy Bullet Naan didn't appeal to me because of the unique taste of green chili, but that's just a personal preference. The Saag Paneer was delicious, and the Samosa was pretty good. I was happy that they provided a side of Onion Relish, but I wish they had given me more. Overall, it was a pretty good experience."

"Do not dine here for Denver Restaurant Week. They tried to serve us a different menu. We showed the the one on the Denver Restaurant Week web site. The server argued with us a long time but finally relented to serve the correct menu. EXCEPT, the restaurant week menu offered a free bottle of wine. The server refused to serve it to us in the restaurant. Again a long argument ensued and all that she would do is give us a warm bottle of white wine that could be opened at the table. After the first course came out, it took 10 minutes to get any silverware and napkins. When you consider that almost every page of their menu features expensive alcoholic drink options, I suppose their strategy was to force us to pay extra for drinks! We will not be going back."

"Okay first of all, anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars probably puts ketchup on their steak. With that said, this food is literally top notch. It's incredible. I get the chicken tikka masala everytime with the chicken Tikka Naan, delicious is not even enough to describe this food. And I normally always have to order it from grubhub, and it still comes hot and delicious. I would love to try it fresh someday. I have had a phone conversation with the owner when ordering, and he is extremely polite and just seems like an awesome person. He helped describe things to me, didn't rush me and made sure I knew all about the food I was ordering. Top notch guy and top notch food. Eat here. Oh, and if the price kinda throws you off just know that the portion sizes are massive. If you look at the photo I posted you will understand. This is more than enough for 2 people."

"I've been going to this place for years about 6+ years I stopped for ALMOST 2 years due to covid I returned back to this place to no Buffet I love the buffet it allowed me to try new food that I would otherwise never order and that I would absolutely fall in love with and order everytime. I was a little upset about that but also I think new owners took over...? the pakora tasted completely different so did a few different dishes but still very good! Only issue I had with the pakora is it was very soft and almost soggy or undercooked not to be mean just offering advice. Where as otherwise the pakora was sturdy, stiff, and crunchy. After coming here for so many years and having the same pakora and having it switched up, I was saddened. But the food still proved to be worthwhile because every time we go here we drive about 90 minutes there and back, its still worth it!!!! I highly recommend and always tell people that this is the best Indian restaurant around!"

"I have ordered so much food from them several times in the last 4 years, they should be able to find a good review from me earlier. we moved away from jc and picked up dinner tonight because I remembered it was good earlier. the huh 555 was completely clogged, but I would have given them another chance if it had not been for their terrible customer service tonight. they asked me to bring that food back and only then would they replace it with a fresh batch. I said I live 12 miles away and did a 25 miles drive just to pick up, they forget every sense of appreciation that man said he could do nothing, although I have been a long time ago. so much that work in jersey city, we have often also made company orders. I mocked him by asking if I had tasted eating on the streets before he would go back home, he actually said yes? I am angry and amused at the moment. talk about people in the restaurant business do not know basic customer service!"

"Service was super slow. We waited 45 minutes after we finished eating for a check and containers. Ask 6 times for togo containers. Food isnt tradtional indian flavor. Most had a trini accent, dont know if the cooks are from trini. Everything was salty. We order chili fish.. salty and ok, lamb chops and tandoori chicken.. no flavor of tandoor, salty and tasted like shan mix for seasoning, not good. Lamb biriyani was ok, chicken tikka masala had a different flavor again ok sag paneer was ok. The best thing was the naan, light and fluffy. Place was busy which maid me wonder why the food wasnt that good but maybe everyone else is used to this flavor. Service was the worst."

"Before the wedding, Ricky was incredible, collaborating with me, my mom, and my husband to customize the menu to fit our needs perfectly, always taking our feedback into account. Additionally, he played a crucial role in crafting unique, exceptional, and mouthwatering menus for each event. On the wedding day, I was taken aback by the stunning presentation of the food; the live stations were a highlight! After the wedding, friends and family have continued to rave about the food, with several even asking for Ricky's contact information for their own events—an unmistakable sign of appreciation! My mom and husband are both quite particular about their food, and their complete lack of complaints, combined with their constant praise, speaks volumes about the quality provided. Thank you, Ricky! We will definitely be reaching out for all our future events—you've won us over as lifelong customers! If you're considering hiring Ricky, just think about what you want for your event. If you seek delicious food, unique presentations that will leave your guests in awe, and the assurance that everything will run smoothly, hiring Ricky should be your top priority."
