"I had a great experience at this Indian restaurant. They offer cloth napkins and tablecloths, and the service is excellent without being intrusive. The atmosphere is peaceful and calming. When we mentioned that we were new to Indian food and had different preferences (my date likes mild dishes, while I prefer spicy), the staff were very accommodating and suggested dishes that suited our tastes. The prices are reasonable, and we left with leftovers. The location is a bit hidden in a strip mall along Army Trail Rd, but it's definitely worth the effort to find. We will definitely be coming back."

"I ordered the butter chicken along with garlic naan. One thing I appreciate about this place is that they serve rice with their main dishes, and they'll bring you an extra order of rice if you ask. Overall, I enjoyed the food—it had just the right amount of spice and was served quickly. However, I found the butter chicken had a bit too much tomato sauce for my liking, and it wasn't the texture I prefer. Despite that, I would definitely return since it's so close to home. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit!"

I was looking for something similar to this stuffed eggplant dish I get and this was similar, and very very good. Comes with yogurt sauce on this side. Good size portion. Chicken Dum Biryani $16.95 Spicy $0.25 HEFTY!! Great for the price. The chicken is bone on, but that so it adds flavor. The spice is right for sure! I would say this is like Indian fried rice . Lots of flavor lots of stuff really really good. I chose the spiciest version and it 's the perfect amount of heat if you like spicy. A little too hot for him, but I really enjoyed it. Saag Aloo curry ALU $17.95 Medium $0.00 By far my favorite. Yes it 's green, but if you like spinach and potatoes, you 're gonna love it. Good portion here as well. Aloo Kale Tikki 3 Pcs $6.95 I wasn 't the biggest fan of these. They are sweet in flavor. My boyfriend really liked them. They 're little potato and kale patties with a type of chutney esque sauce on top. You get three to an order, which is a little up there. We did a take out order, and picked it up. Inside was nice and smelled great. You can sit down or take out, there are servers if you want to dine in. The owner who gave us our order was extremely personable and helpful! I think we found another great Indian spot! The only downside is that it 's more expensive than our usual place. It is also odd that they charge more for spice level, but we did like it a lot. I know that this type of cuisine takes an eternity to make, and there are a lot of ingredients but it is certainly up there price wise."

"Delicious. Just wanted to note that they have three separate locations. It's just a preference of mine but I find the Michigan location with better tasting food. This is not to say that the other locations don't prepare the food well, they most certainly do and there are no issues. On-site parking at all locations is a pain unless you're just there for delivery pick-up. Prepare to take public transportation if you want the dine in experience. This place is really pricey for my taste but for a craving once in a while it's worth it. If you order from their website they sometimes offer discounts just for it being an online order. Uber eats offers a thing where if you order a number of times your last order will be free, which is also nice. Highly recommend it if you are new to Indian and Nepalese cuisine."

"No doubts at all, food is excellent. But the day we visited it was super busy and only 2 waiters among approximately 10 tables. Though they were trying their best. Hopefully managers can have more waiters during those busy times. No one at the front counter when we arrived. Waiter there for about 10 minutes for someone to show up. This restaurant does take open table reservation but the person who showed up at desk told us they don’t have any reservation from us. Glad the wait time was only 12-15 minutes."

"My experience with Indian food is limited, but I was excited when invited to dine at Beenz Indian Grill And. The friendly staff informed me that the restaurant specializes in traditional Indian cuisine, with some Indo-Chinese dishes as well. "Buyer beware! Not allergy friendly!! We ordered through Door Dash last night and wasted $40 on food that was inedible. My family has a dairy allergy and I clearly requested in my order that each item be gluten free, vegan and mild. Upon receiving the order I thought it looked suspicious so I called to check and sure enough these dishes contain dairy! Also the peas pilau was freezing cold as if they forgot to heat the dish before sending (which also means they likely microwave to go food in styrofoam! . At first I thought the peas pilau was supposed to be served chilled but the fellow on the phone Nandu confirmed it should have been heated and also confirmed that despite my requests the majority of our food contained dairy. He was quite abrupt and did not apologize or offer to correct any of the errors. Seemed like he just wanted me off the phone and didn't care that they ruined our dinner, wasted our money, and could have made my family very sick by including dairy in our food despite the notes on the order. The one dish which supposedly did not contain dairy was the Mushroom Mutter but even this was disappointing as the veggies tasted old like they came from cans and it was very spicy for a dish that was requested mild. So many problems with this order, makes me question everything about this restaurant. If they are not careful with preparing the food, then how careful are they when cleaning and sanitizing their kitchen?? I am completely dissatisfied with the food and customer service. I was not offered a refund or replacement or even an apology! Such a frustrating experience and a total waste of time and money."

"Went here for dinner, and had two entrees to share as well as an order of Samosa. The Samosa was delicious, especially the spice mix they dusted the outside with, and the chutneys were so bright and the flavor was incredible. The entrees I tried were the Chana Masala and Bhuteko Kauli which is a cauliflower dish with Nepalese spices. Both were surprisingly light and the flavors of the Bhutako were so vibrant. Unfortunately the waiter wasn't knowledgeable about which items were vegan and there was a language barrier for sure. He asked a colleague and they brought a menu that they had circled the vegan options on which was very nice, but I wish I had looked at the menu online because there were more options, and they were clearly marked. Too bad; missed opportunity for sure."

"Shahi is the BEST place to go to for Indian Food. They definitely don 't disappoint. The very first time that I ever went there, honestly I didn 't like it at first because everything was so spicy! But now that I know u can tell them no spice, everything is so delicious that I can 't get enough of! I 've tried their Chicken Sagg, Mang9 Chicken, Butter Chicken, Coastal Shrimp Curry, Garlic Naan Bread, lemon rice, on top of other delicious food that they have. I definitely would recommend this place. I give this place 10/10. The staff are so friendly and are never rude. Me and my husband are regulars. We LOVE this place so much!!! U get alot of food for what u pay for. They never disappoint! And if ur into drinking their Taj Mahal beer is good too, and I 'm not even a beer drinker! Babush is the most friendly waiter that I have ever met in the whole and tire state of Michigan. Thank you Shahi, we will definitely be looking forward to visiting u again.
