"We came to NYC for a vacation with our two teens. We wanted a nice night out, good food and not to spend a fortune. Found this place on Open Table. It’s quaint and welcoming with excellent food and service. The fresh pasta was so good! All four of us were so happy with our dishes. Our daughter is vegetarian and the options for her were plentiful. We had a fantastic time. The food was fresh with quality ingredients and the service was amazing, very attentive. Highly recommend. Their rosemary old fashioned was a unique twist on a classic and so good!"

"The music is chill and not loud and annoying like most restaurants, the food is the right amount to satisfy you, the owner is very friendly. To be honest it is the best restaurant I’ve have ever been too. When you order pizza somebody will make it straight out of the brick oven. The service is nice and easy, and when you get in the restaurant you will feel welcomed and comfortable. You would want to order everything off the menu because it is SO good.Parking: There is a parking lot that is free when it is around 7:00 pm, the perfect time to get dinner with your family or friends"

"This is a wonderful restaurant. The service is top-notch, the food is delicious with an authentic Italian flavor. We left feeling very satisfied with our dining experience. My only issue is that they add an 18% "service charge" to the bill, which seems to be mandatory rather than optional. I would have preferred to have the choice to decide on the tip amount myself."

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation."

"The first time I tried to go here I had to wait for my sister to come back from a woodworking class where she built some sort of stool. She ended up staining the stool in our living room and it made the smell so strong. She said she was gonna be baxk around noon so we can go but she ended up getting back at like 130! When we got there, the kitchen literally closed after the person in front of us order. So in unlucky!! Ended up getting a coffee and a pasty but I can’t remember what it was like. So fast forward a month or so we went here again but this time left early enough around 11 to actually make it in time. First though we went to the sidecar donut shop and we thought it was closed and was shocked! But it turns out the door was heavy and we weee able to go in. Then we went to traders joe to get some ingredients but there wasn’t a way to buy a single carrot so we decided to go to alfies later instead. Once we finally get to pinwheel we were waiting in line and struggled to read the menu because my vision is kinda bad and I should consider getting lasik. The only hesitation I have is that it seems scary and I am a bit of a chicken with things going into my eyes. I was struggling on deciding behind choosing between three sandwiches of the Parisian, the Marius and Brie. Parisian seemed good but it was only ham and butter and this was the last day before my diet and I didn’t want to waste it. The Marius seemed interesting but I saw that there was olives inside but I kinda wanted tuna. The Brie also looked good but I was worried my gf was going to yell at me for eating so much cheese since my face was sensitive and it’s causing me pimples. Like there was one week where I was eating lasagna and pizza a lot and then my face started breaking out which I got in trouble for. In the ended up choosing Brie and pretended it wasn’t cheese but she noticed and said she Wander bros me and can’t blame her for it. I also saw a little puppy next to us that only wanted to lick a bluebery and didn’t actually eat. Haha what a lil dummy"

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

"I don't get to this area of town very often, but now that I've discovered Marco's I'm going to have to find some reasons to get back over there. Went yesterday (11/30) and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. It was a 55° day and current restrictions require outdoor dining only so we bundled up, but their patio is so sunny and protected we were down to our t-shirts before our entrees were delivered. I loved the upscale feel of the place with friendly down-to-earth service and the food was incredible. GET THE FRIED GARLIC PARMESAN NUGGETS. DO IT. As someone who can't handle too much dairy (I blew my daily allowance by eating WAY too many of the garlic parmesan nuggets) I was thrilled to find the nice variety of vegan options. The Queens pizza was one of the best pies I've ever had, the crust was the perfect thickness, soft in the middle with a thin crispy, perfectly charred surface and the vegan cheese they use was so tasty and creamy it added a whole new experience. I tried multiple times to upload an image of this gorgeous piece of art but google reviews isn't playing well today. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes! Great job Marco's!"

"This place continues to be one of the truly best places to eat in New York City it is actually my favorite place of all. The food is really exceptional incredibly fresh ingredients purchased at the Union Square farmer's market and various amazing purveyors on a daily basis as made clear by their Instagram chronicles. The food is utterly delicious and absolutely inspired being both truly authentically Italian and also thoughtful and innovative. The owners are virtually always there and they are incredibly warm and inviting, treating their patrons like one wonderful extended family. I will note that over the years I have witnessed the rare visitor who don't get the authenticity (they demand parmigiana on their seafood which simply is not permitted in real Italian cuisine) or who is otherwise the occasional over entitled, high maintenance attitude leaving disgruntled, but you can't please everyone. And you don't survive as a restaurant in NYC for 25 years, with the kinds of reviews that this place consistently gets without being really outstanding. I am not exaggerating to say that having moved from New York 10 years ago I literally come back to the City at least once a month to eat here. It is that good. If you have never been, ignore the outlier reviews. "We've tried several temaki restaurants lately and we thought the others were better. The nori got soggy quickly and the flavors didn't really knock our socks off. Not very creative. Also got brussel sprouts and clams. Sprouts were what you'd expect and the clams had a strong sake flavor which was ok by us, but may surprise people who aren't drinkers. Usually that burns off while cooking, but they must do it on purpose to bring it out more. Overall, wouldn't return."

"I had the best dark chocolate vegan egg I've ever tasted! It's incredibly creamy and rich. They also offer a few other vegan flavors. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you're in Westfield, there's still a gelato place (Hanna's), but their vegan dark chocolate doesn’t compare to this place—I'll definitely choose this spot instead!"
