"The menu is quite limited, making it better suited for larger groups opting for a fixed-price meal. That said, the prices were reasonable, contributing to that midweek dinner vibe. The drinks were decent, the service was just okay, and the decor felt outdated. It didn't match my memories from the 80s when their veal saltimbocca was a highlight—perhaps I was thinking of a different place.
On a positive note, the singer had a great voice, though at times he sounded like Count Dracula performing Italian songs, which added a humorous twist to the evening. The appetizers were good, and overall, we had a nice time in the light, family-friendly atmosphere—even if it didn’t quite hit the mark for fine dining.
As for parking, it was definitely easier than in Bay Ridge. Metered parking ends at 7 PM, and with a 7 PM reservation, we managed to find a spot nearby on 86th Street quite quickly."
