"Yes, the place is dark and dated but the vibe is good. There are real people having dinner and by that I mean groups of people out for the purpose of enjoying a good meal and a pleasant experience. The staff is outgoing and personable. Attentive without being irritating and they enjoy their work and are proud of their product which is very good. The food is fresh and well prepared and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a trendy sterile chain with no soul...keep looking. But if you want a place with fresh food, great recipes, and a family atmosphere, make your way to Pappys."
