"Yes, the place is dark and dated but the vibe is good. There are real people having dinner and by that I mean groups of people out for the purpose of enjoying a good meal and a pleasant experience. The staff is outgoing and personable. Attentive without being irritating and they enjoy their work and are proud of their product which is very good. The food is fresh and well prepared and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a trendy sterile chain with no soul...keep looking. But if you want a place with fresh food, great recipes, and a family atmosphere, make your way to Pappys."

over all, AMAZING. the food was great i loved it, i was stuffed, which is rare. The atmosphere in the building was charming, the staff was really nice. it's a bit out of the way but its worth the drive. 5/5. would DEFINITELY come back

the service left much to wish. was not busy and the server seemed overwhelmed and the service suffered. we were extremely patient, with the empty water goggles, several moments of missing drinks, reminding and cutting off, as we ask about the menu and the servings (which takes care when they answered this thousand times, their work, their choice) and it has not improved over the entire meal up and through the introduction of the hurry for the check. extremely careless and unprofessional from all perspectives. would never recommend this place to everyone in rustester.
